Human beings can silently remember the development and operation of intangible things and various changes, and can find out the ideal way and state suitable for their own survival from various changes. This kind of attitude of tacit understanding and calculation of the world embodies Lao Tzu's philosophy of life to a certain extent.

A person who is good at calculation is able to know directly the number of things to be measured, without pretending to be a foreign object. People who are good at locking doors take advantage of the natural form of things and do not set up or install other things, so they will not be untied without latches or ropes. The above five are all about not creating, not exerting influence, using the nature of things themselves, and not restricting the performance of things by their form.

The saint does not set up a name to examine things, and does not create a direction to discard it. Auxiliary to the nature of all things does not begin, so it is said that "no abandonment of people" also. If you are not virtuous, the people will not fight; If it is not expensive and rare, the people will not be thieves; If you don't see what you want, the people's hearts will not be chaotic. If the people's hearts are free from desire and confusion, there will be no abandonment. The teacher is not good at doing good, so it is called the teacher. Capital, take also.

Good people are not good with good. Do not abandon the bad with the good, so the good people are not good, and the good people take it. Although there is wisdom, let it be wise. If it is not because of things, it will be lost in its way, so it is said that "although the wisdom is lost".
