This is a case that occurred in 2009 in a street-side pedicure shop.

Early that morning, I received a call from Lao Lu and hurried to the scene of the crime.

It is impossible to see that there has been a murder in the outside room, so the location of the crime should be in the inner room.

So I went inside.

The inner room is smaller than the outer room, with only one pedicure bed, and the inner room is also connected to a kitchen with a bathroom.

The situation in the inner room is chilling. Blood was splattered on the walls, on the floor, and even on the ceiling. This blood stain was apparently splattered from the surface of the human body after being hit with a blunt object, and the part of the blow was mostly the head.

Lao Lu pointed to a wooden stick on the ground and said, "This is the murder weapon." ”

I squatted down, looked at the wooden stick about 70 centimeters long and about 3 centimeters thick and diameter, and said, "This kind of wooden stick should be the handle of the mop, and there is a hole in one section of the stick, which is used to tie a rope and use it for the mop to hang." However, the wooden stick was artificially sawed a lot shorter, and there were obvious hacksaw marks on it, indicating that the murder weapon was deliberately prepared. It seems that this homicide was not a murder of passion, but a planned and deliberate murder. ”

Lao Lu said: "Judging from the situation at the scene, this is a robbery and homicide case. Because the deceased's wallet and mobile phone were not found at the scene. ”

I nodded and said, "I'll take a look at the dead first." ”

The deceased was a woman, aged between 28 and 30. The deceased had been struck on the head several times in succession with the same wooden stick.

It can be seen from the mutilated bloody footprints on the ground that the deceased was attacked at the position of the foot therapy bed, and was hit until the door of the inner room and the kitchen before he fainted after being hit hard, and at the place where the deceased fell, there was a more obvious blood splash around the head, obviously the murderer did not spare the poison after the deceased fell to the ground, which makes me wonder if this is not a simple robbery and murder, and the motive for the murder seems to be deeper.

It can be seen that the deceased was well dressed, so sexual assault can be quickly ruled out. The pedicure bed is not yet equipped with the pedicure apparatus in the pedicure basin. Then it can be proved that it was the murderer who asked for a foot massage in the inner room, so the shopkeeper went to the inner room, and the murderer followed and committed the murder of the deceased in the inner room.

After examining the body, I looked at the room, the kitchen and the bathroom.

I found bloody handprints on the TV remote control in the inner room. But this bloody handprint is not a finger print, but a bloody handprint with a glove. From the lines of the bloody handprints, I can be sure that this is a kind of cotton gloves that are often used by workers. And I can imagine that such gloves should be white.

Later, I also found this handprint on the door frame in the inner room, and this handprint was clearer and further proved my suspicion.

Nothing special was found in the bathroom and kitchen, not even the footprints on the ground, which indicates that the murderer did not enter the kitchen and bathroom.

There are not many signs of a struggle in the room, and it seems that the murderer shot very hard, subduing the deceased in a very short time.

If the victim was beaten to death with a wooden stick, then the man's arm strength must have been considerable, and from the mutilated footprints on the ground, I found not only the footprints of the deceased, but also the bloody footprints of another person.

From the size of the footprints and the span of stride, I could easily deduce that the person was around 175 cm tall.

Based on his arm strength and height, then I can conclude that the murderer should be a man in his prime.

Once the sex of the murderer is determined, then I have to consider his motive for committing the crime.

The possibility of sexual assault has been ruled out from the state of death of the deceased. And the deceased looks and is in good shape, and the murderer did not sexually assault him, which means that the murderer will not be seeking sex from the beginning, so is it just a simple quest for money?

I walked to the outer room, where there was a small counter in front of the door with calculators, laptops, and some miscellaneous items.

The laptop is ninety percent new, and it's not big, it's a 14-inch laptop. If it was a request for money, since the murderer took the mobile phone, why didn't he take the laptop?

I looked around the laptop, and on the laptop, I was pleasantly surprised to find a faint fingerprint. These fingerprints were not left by the previous blood glove, but real human fingerprints, and to my surprise, these fingerprints had a small amount of blood.

I am sure that the bloodstained fingerprint could not have been that of the deceased, because in the circumstances at the time, the deceased would have died in the inner room, and she could not have run to the outer counter to pick up the notebook, and then ran back to the inner room and fell to the ground to die.

Then this bloody fingerprint should be left by the murderer.

I said, "There are two possibilities. The first is that the murder was not a search for money, and the wallet and mobile phone could not be found, which may be just the murderer's deliberate attempt to confuse the direction of the police investigation. The second is that the murderer has no channel to sell laptops, and he is worried that he will expose himself by recklessly selling second-hand notebooks. Which assumption do you prefer? ”
