It's hard to see that kind of sight now.

The afterglow of the setting sun is sprinkled on the river, golden and bright, in this time that should be comfortable, Beibin Road is not peaceful.

Many passers-by stopped to watch, but of course they didn't know what to do. But what are they looking at?

Because by the embankment of Beibin Road, a group of uniformed criminal police and forensic doctors are busy.

Where there are police, of course, it is a place for the masses to have a lively look.

I'm among them, of course, I'm not here to see the fun.

"Who called the police?" I asked, looking at a wet dark green woven bag on the shore.

It can be seen from the corpse that these slash wounds are very serious, not to mention 13 wounds, any of them can kill people. It's really deadly.

With such a ferocious slash, I determined several characteristics of the murderer.

First, it was a slash by a man with a strong arm. The reason why it is judged to be a man is, of course, from the strength of one aspect. On the other hand, it is judged by the height of the deceased. The deceased was about 177 centimeters in size, but his wounds were all concentrated on his head and neck. There are knife wounds on the top of the head, the back of the head, and other parts, which shows that this kind of injury is not caused when you are unconscious, but when you are fighting with someone.

If you can cut the head of a man with a height of 177 cm during the fight, then the height of the murderer must be higher than 177 cm, and women of this height are rare in Wanzhou, so I speculate that it is more likely that a man committed the crime.

The second is that this homicide is related to vendetta and will not be a murder for money. Because we found a watch on the left wrist of the man's body, and more than 500 yuan in cash in his trouser pocket. And only vendetta can desperately slash the dead 13 times with their dead strength. This is a classic vent of anger.

When the examination of the body is basically over, the forensic doctor will take the body back to the forensic center to extract the DNA data and fingerprint data of the deceased to see if it can find matching DNA data and fingerprints in the national DNA database to determine the identity of the deceased.

Of course, my investigation into this murder has only just begun.

I checked the bag that contained the corpse, and it was a large bag with no logo or anything like that, indicating that it was not a bag for feed and fertilizer.

The first impression of this dark green woven bag is that kind of woven bag commonly used by courier companies.

Could it be that the murderer has something to do with the courier company?

Of course, I can't rule this out, but I can't ignore another possibility, which is that the woven bag may have been saved by the killer after buying large items online. I asked the members of the survey team to store the bag properly and asked them to take a sample of the residual blood inside the bag. Because I suspect that in such a fierce fight, the murderer may also have been injured, and when he stored the body, he left his own blood inside the woven bag.

It's just a guess, but that's how it works, and sometimes an inconsequential guess can be the key to solving a crime.

Of course, I have one more point to explain, that is, the murderer's education level should not be high. He sank the body into the river without putting stones or other weights in the woven bag, indicating that he was not aware that the body would surface after a long period of soaking.

When the breathing movement of the person stops, the body first sinks to the bottom because the density of the human body is about the same as that of water. As the corpse gradually decays, more and more putrefactive gases are produced in the body, and after the corpse is filled with putrefactive gas (like a humanoid balloon), the corpse will gradually surface. Because putrefactive gases are produced first in the head, face, and in the chest and abdomen where there are gaps, and finally develop to the lower limbs. Therefore, the order in which the corpses in the water surface is first the upper body and then the lower body. It is only when the putrefactive gas fills the whole body that the feet begin to rise gradually, and finally, the whole body is exposed to the surface of the water, taking on a supine or prone position. Therefore, any corpse whose whole body is already floating on the surface of the water must have a high degree of decay in the body. At this time, a large amount of putrefactive gas filled the corpse, and these putrefactive gases "blew" the corpse into a large humanoid ball, which was enough to turn a thin person into a big fat person, and enough to make a face with beautiful facial features into a big "ghost" head with angry eyes, turned lips turned out, fat head and big ears, and a hideous and terrifying face.

Men have smaller pelvis and less developed hip muscles, while the rib cage is wider and the pectoral muscles are more developed, which makes the center of gravity of the body biased towards the front of the body. Therefore, the male corpse is often in a prone position in the water. Women, on the other hand, have larger pelvis and more developed hips, so the center of gravity of their body is skewed towards the back of their body. Therefore, female corpses are often in a supine position in the water.

Obviously, the murderer did not understand this truth. If he understands this truth, since it is a corpse to sink into the river, then he must put a counterweight in this weaving pocket to ensure that the corpse does not surface.

Lao Lu and the investigators are now heading upstream, and they are looking for the place where the body was dumped.

Of course, it is necessary to find the place where the body was dumped. Because there are likely to be some clues left at the dumping site, such as footprints, rut marks, and even some bloody napkins.

However, on this long North Shore Road, how easy is it to find the place where the body was dumped? And the place where the body was dumped was not even Beibin Road, maybe it was farther upstream of the Yangtze River, or even in other districts and counties. Therefore, the place where the body was dumped was not found in the end.

Although no place was found, this did not affect the progress of the case. Because the forensic center quickly confirmed the identity of the deceased.

By extracting the DNA data of the deceased and matching it with the data in the national DNA database, it was quickly found that the DNA data was exactly matched.

The deceased, named Yeung Wan Kuen, was once imprisoned for intentional wounding and is now 47 years old.

And the medical examiner found alcohol in the body of the deceased. It stands to reason that after soaking in water for up to 48 hours, the alcohol should have been diluted, but why did the deceased still have alcohol in his body?

I think there is only one reason, that is, there is a large amount of alcohol in the body of the deceased, that is, the deceased had drunk a lot of alcohol before his death, and he drank a high concentration of liquor.

This now makes me wonder, so did the deceased get killed because he had an argument with someone while drunk? And the murderer is also the killer who lost his reason after drinking a lot of alcohol?

If there is such a thing as wine, then there is a question mark for vendetta? Because under the influence of a large amount of alcohol, human beings can completely lose their minds and behave abnormally. So it is difficult to judge whether the vendetta was cruel or because of the loss of reason due to alcohol.

However, since the identity of the deceased has been confirmed, it is necessary to start the investigation from the relatives and friends of the deceased.

During the investigation, Lao Lu and I found Yang Wanquan's hometown.

Yang Wanquan is a native of Xiaozhou Town, Wanzhou District, his parents have long passed away, and the person closest to him is his brother Yang Wanqian.

When Yang Wanqian was found, he was farming in the field. He was dark-skinned, wearing a very simple blue shirt, black trousers rolled up high, a pair of powerful big feet in the field, no shoes, and mud from the calf down.
