Chapter 39: The Chicken or the Egg
The second lesson for new Gryffindor students is History of Magic, which is undoubtedly the most boring class at Hogwarts, and there is no one.
The History of Magic classroom is located on the second floor of Hogwarts Castle, and new Gryffindor students will have twenty minutes to spare after their first class.
However, due to the long conversation between Albert and Professor Flitwick, the four of them had no time to waste, so they had to hurry to the History of Magic classroom.
By the time the four of them hurried to the History of Magic classroom, Administrator Argus Filch had already come to open the door early, after all, Professor Binns, as a ghost, couldn't open the door for everyone.
Gryffindor's History of Magic was taught with Ravenclaw, and everyone sat in their seats and chatted before class.
Ignoring the twin brothers frolicking nearby, Albert took out the box containing the multi-flavored beans from his pocket, picked a blue bean and threw it into his mouth, chewing it and finding that it was blueberry flavored.
"Good luck. Albert muttered, and while pulling out the History of Magic from his bag, he took out the Nineteenth Century Charms and flipped through the list of his skills under the cover of reading the book.
After taking a Charms class, Albert discovers that he has acquired another skill: Charm Theory.
In Albert's memory, this basic skill was useful, so he immediately raised the Charm Theory to Level 1. He carefully recalled the knowledge of some of the more spell theories in his head, and couldn't help frowning, the effect of only upgrading to 1 level didn't seem to be much.
How so?
His own spell theory has indeed improved, but Albert has a feeling that most of the knowledge is not difficult to understand as long as it is broken, so he will have that kind of illusion.
While pondering the knowledge of the glowing charm, Albert took the multi-flavored bean and threw it into his mouth, as if he were eating chocolate beans.
The next moment, he reached out to cover his mouth, and a hot taste escaped in his mouth.
Damn, the one I just ate was a chili-flavored multi-flavored bean, and Albert choked on the spicy enough that he swore he would never eat it again when he was out of his mind.
"What's wrong with you?" Fred noticed Albert's change.
"Flavored beans, chili flavored. Albert pointed to the small box on the table, the last time he bought the multi-flavored beans on the train, he still hadn't finished eating.
"Every bite is an experience of great adventure. Fred gloated, not forgetting to tease Albert about the advertising slogan of the multi-flavored bean.
Albert glared at the guy in front of him fiercely, took out a toffee from his pocket and stuffed it into his mouth, relieved the spicy taste, and handed the flavored beans to Fred.
"Be especially careful when eating multi-flavored beans. Fred pinched one and threw it into his mouth and chewed it, "Spinach flavored." ”
"Mine is strawberry flavored. George announced happily.
"I'm very ...... eating this," Lee Jordan also leaned over and picked one and threw it into his mouth.
"Do you want flavored beans?" Albert asked, shaking the box towards the others.
As soon as the words fell, Li Jordan's voice came from the side.
"It smells of rotten eggs, it's disgusting. The black guy's cheeks were almost twisted together, and he spit the chewing beans on the ground in one gulp.
A Ravenclaw girl next to her cast a disgusted look at Li Jordan.
Sensing the other party's eyes, Li Jordan's face was a little embarrassed, and he scratched his head embarrassedly.
"Clean it up. Albert raised his wand, pointed at Lee Jordan's vomit, and threw a fruit candy at him.
"I don't eat multi-flavored beans anymore. Lee Jordan swore an oath.
"You've said that more than once. George teased. "He just ate another one, and it was marmalade flavored.
After the Lee Jordan incident, everyone was close to Albert's small box of flavored beans, and they didn't want to eat anything strange.
"What kind of magic did you just use? The Ravenclaw girl introduced herself, "My name is Katrina McDoug. ”
"Hello Katrina, I'm Albert Anderson. Albert stuffed another piece of chocolate into his mouth, and the hot taste in his mouth gradually subsided after chewing, "It was a descaling spell just now, a very practical magic. ”
"Most freshmen aren't as good at magic as you are, even if they're taught by their families in advance. And ......," said Katrina, glancing at the Nineteenth Century Charms Albert was reading, "I dare say the Sorting Hat must have misclassified you." ”
"There's nothing bad about Gryffindor. Albert didn't pay attention to the other party's words: "And ...... I come from a Muggle family. ”
"It's impossible, only from the wizard's family, their family will teach magic in advance. Katrina's face was a little stunned.
"I heard...... Entering the Ravenclaw common room, a question needs to be answered...... "Albert stiffly digressed the subject, he didn't want to argue anything about his pedigree.
"Yes, the eagle-shaped bronze knocker needs to be answered before you will be allowed to enter the Ravenclaw common room. Katrina looked at Albert suspiciously and asked, "But, I'm curious, how did you know this? Many people don't know how to get into the common rooms of the other colleges."
"I happened to hear a Ravink student complain about not being able to answer a question and being left outside the break room. Albert rambled nonsense.
"Oh!" Katrina was still a little suspicious of Albert, after all, there was little chance of such a thing.
"Do you feel that Albert can talk to anyone? George, who was sitting next to him, muttered quietly.
Fred nodded repeatedly, and Li Jordan agreed, and he reached out and took out a multi-flavored bean from the box, this guy actually likes to eat multi-flavored beans.
Albert glared at the three of them, coughed lightly and asked, "Tell me about any interesting problems you encountered, right?"
"Phoenix and fire, which one comes first. Katrina picked a question that she happened to know the answer to
"What do you think?" Albert turned to look at the twin brothers
"I think there should have been a phoenix first?" Fred said.
"Do I think so too?" immediately echoed George.
"Why?" asked Li Jordan, puzzled.
"Of course I guessed!" the twins said in unison, their expressions amused by all of them.
Albert couldn't help but laugh too.
"What about you?" asked Katrina again.
"In the Muggle world, there is a similar problem. Albert did not answer the other directly, and continued: "Is there a chicken, or is there an egg first?"
"What's the answer?" asked Katrina, curious. She felt like she had guessed the answer.
"First there were the chickens. Albert replied that the answer was not what Katrina had thought.
"Why?"
Albert explained: "How can there be an egg in the world for no reason?"
Katrina shook her head, "That's not enough. ”
