Testimonials for this volume
The story of this volume is finally over, and there are more places in Carvin, so that it is more difficult to write. Fortunately, the final ending is quite satisfying, and for the new human civilization in the article, this difficult time has finally passed......
It's a big relief for me, and sometimes I can't write a few words a day.
What a pain!
It has been almost 11 months since the book was opened, and it is not easy for an author who writes 1.56 million words at a speed like a snail...... It's not fast or slow, it's okay anyway, it's not slow, you can do the math yourself.
Personally, I don't like to write too long, a book on the Internet, if three or four million words or more, I may not want to click on it, thinking that this is too watery, I don't know if you think so......
So, more than two million words can be comfortably long.
According to the current development, it should not be too much of a problem to write this book to more than 2 million words...... After that, you still have to find a chance to finish it. On the one hand, the story after the fifth-level civilization is not easy to write, and this book is mainly biased towards ideology, rather than flying technology, so there is no way to write casually.
On the other hand, if you see that a book has a good grade, it is an irresponsible act to force it to three to five million words......
Of course, the results of this book are just average, not particularly good, the two Silver League are also 110,000 collections, and everyone also knows that the collection of the Silver League is very watery, and after grabbing the treasure chest collection, put it on the bookshelf and don't look at it at all. So the real collection is only about 60,000......
Ahem, anyway, there is still a period of time before the end, at least four or five months, so don't panic. The author will not be a eunuch!
When the time comes, if you don't find it enjoyable, I can consider writing about a few virtual worlds, or a parallel universe where a new human civilization decides to return to the Earth civilization and so on......
Of course, it is impossible for the main plot to return to the earth civilization and pretend to be forced, otherwise this book will not be written......
……
Let's say a few more casual words, I talked to a few hard science fiction authors in the past few days, and found that my book is already the starting point of "real science fiction", the best results, which is really embarrassing. The rest of the books are really pounced.
In fact, this situation is not easy to change, the so-called "hard science fiction" has always been very niche, and readers who can support it genuinely should support it as much as possible, and don't go to see piracy.
I even think that the term "hard sci-fi" is a bit derogatory.
This small circle is actually very conservative, and many so-called "hard science fiction readers" have a very strong contempt for the rest.
For example, some readers who read physical books feel that they have high taste and superiority, and when they hear about online literature, they ask: Have you read Asimov? The Galactic Empire hasn't even read it? Online articles are garbage! Three-body awesome!
I've always been too lazy to pay attention to this kind of readership, because my readership is not these people, so what does it matter to me no matter how much they preach?
However, it is a pity that it is these readers who control the right to judge the so-called "hard science fiction".
The right to speak is very important, no matter how much I praise my works, they can't compare to those world masterpieces, and I really can't quarrel with them. They think they only have a handful of books on hard science fiction.
So what to do?
Wouldn't it be enough to directly expel one's book from the "hard science fiction book", this term is not a lofty term, why must it be on the top of the head, as if it is a religious belief......
Therefore, I have never felt that I am writing a hard science fiction book, but a soft science fiction book, and it is completely meaningless to judge the quality of a book by whether it is hard or not.
That's it, the story is the most important thing.
If someone thinks that their work is very hard, but they still make a mess, it is because the writing is not good-looking, there is only this reason, there is no other reason, and it has nothing to do with whether it is hard or not.
I strongly recommend that new authors not claim to be "hard sci-fi" when promoting their books, because once they do, some readers will be harsh and will filter out a large number of casual readers who just want to have a little fun, and they will feel tired and annoyed when they see the word hard sci-fi, and they don't want to read it.
There are many, many readers in this category.
Therefore, the practice of declaring "hard science fiction" is completely self-inflicted, unless you have a strong belief in the revitalization of "hard science fiction", and are willing to "descend from heaven to the people, you must first work their muscles and bones", otherwise don't flaunt yourself like this, these three words are not a particularly positive term.
Well, that's all for the time being for the testimonials in this volume, and finally ask for a monthly pass and a recommended ticket!
A little embarrassed (⊙o⊙)... I'll take a day off tomorrow, I'm really tired of writing.
