Volume 1: The Story of the Jade Emperor Temple

About a kilometer west of Jiulong Mountain, there is also a small hill called Jade Emperor Mountain.

Although the name of this Jade Emperor Mountain is called a mountain, it is also a slightly larger hill. At an altitude of just over 100 meters, there are hardly any rocks on it, and it looks like a large mound of earth.

But it's strange that at the top of its hill is a large round platform. The diameter of the platform is about seventeen or eighteen meters, and it is not only round and regular, but also unusually flat, and it looks like it has been formed by man. It is said that in ancient times, it was an important altar for worshipping heaven and earth. This point is indeed clearly recorded in the local chronicles.

At the foot of the southern side of the Jade Emperor Mountain, there is a Jade Emperor Temple built in the Ming Dynasty, which enshrines the Jade Emperor. Although there is no longer the three-entry courtyard of the year, there is still the quaint main hall of the Jade Emperor Palace, and the incense is still continuous. And for this Jade Emperor Temple, there is also a well-known legend, which has been passed down to this day.

According to legend, when the Ming Dynasty was just established, a generation of strange people Qingtian Liu Bowen was entrusted by Zhu Yuanzhang to secretly search for those treasures of feng shui in public opinion all over the country. In order to find the future mausoleum for Zhu Yuanzhang and his descendants in advance, but also to bless his Ming Empire with prosperity for thousands of generations.

You must know that the ancients regarded death as life very strongly, and attached great importance to the so-called Yin Mansion after death, especially the ancient emperor, who firmly believed in it and attached great importance to it.

According to legend, on this day, Liu Bowen disguised himself as an ordinary sloppy Taoist and found the foot of this Jade Emperor Mountain. When he climbed to the altar at the top of the hill, he was amazed.

It turns out that this mountain is the best place in Kanyuxue, and it is a natural feng shui treasure. I saw this delicate and mellow Jade Emperor Mountain, surrounded by four spirit mountains arch guard, there is an ancient river in front of it, like a jade belt wrapped around the waist meandering through, there are perennial ancient springs and lakes on the left and right.

The mountains are lush and lush, elegant and beautiful; The water is clear and condensed, and it twists and turns. Here, the Tibetan wind gathers water, the weather is simple, the pattern is rigorous, exquisitely clear, and there are no signs of man-made in everything, which is purely made in heaven.

In particular, the four spiritual mountains around it are the classic former Vermilion Bird, the rear Xuanwu, the left green dragon, and the right white tiger. Longshan Mountain due east is winding and supple; Facing Crouching Tiger Mountain in the west, tamed and affectionate; Zhu Mountain in the south, Xiang Wu Pan Gu; Turtle Mountain to the north, bow your head to meet it.

Liu Bowen saw that this was the feng shui treasure he was looking for, and quickly took out his compass to calculate. Finally, after several deductions, he determined the location of the current Jade Emperor Palace, which was the center of the treasure cave. After descending the mountain, he made a secret mark there without a word, and floated away.

Three days later, Liu Bowen personally led the local court officials to prepare for the official groundbreaking. But when he got to the place where he had made the mark, he was dumbfounded.

It turned out that the place where he made the mark three days ago was now a small Jade Emperor Hall built out of thin air. Although this small Jade Emperor Palace, due to the rush of time, the construction is very simple and rough, but it is indeed a Jade Emperor Palace, which is enshrined in a statue of the Jade Emperor who did not know where it was temporarily moved.

You know, since ancient times, there has been no reason to push it to the temple to build a ghost cave. Liu Bowen was shocked, knowing that he had met a superior person who was far superior to him. suddenly ran out of ideas, and after bowing to Zhang Yuhuang three times, he had to leave with a group of entourage.

However, in order not to lose his reputation, Liu Bowen had no choice but to retreat and choose the royal tomb in the nearby Yang of Jiulong Mountain.

Many years later, after several overt and covert visits, Liu Bowen finally knew the story behind the appearance of this Jade Emperor Hall out of thin air. It turned out that in the village near the Jade Emperor Mountain, there was a secluded master of the world, who was also a master of Kanyu like Liu Bowen, and he had long seen that the location of this Jade Emperor Palace was an excellent feng shui treasure.

That day, when Liu Bowen came to the top of Jade Emperor Mountain in disguise, he had been hiding beside him, paying close attention to Liu Bowen's every move. When he saw Liu Bowen go straight to the center of the acupuncture point after coming down the mountain, he recognized Liu Bowen's identity and knew that he was Qingtian Liu Bowen, who was known as the Heavenly Machine.

After Liu Bowen made a mark and floated away, the master immediately arrived at that position. This master knew that Liu Bowen had already selected this place and was going to build the imperial tomb here, and it would not be long before he came to break ground and lay the foundation.

This kind-hearted master knew that as long as the imperial tomb was really built here, the people in the vicinity would be poisoned. Because, since ancient times, as long as the day of the construction of the imperial mausoleum is successful, it is the time when the nearby people suffer great disasters.

Usually, in order to keep the information about the internal organs of the Imperial Tomb and the construction process confidential, as long as the Imperial Tomb is completed, the nearby people and those migrant workers will all be killed. Then, immigrants from other places will come to fill the place, so that all the secrets of the imperial tomb will not be leaked.

Thinking of this, this master decided to stop it, which can be regarded as working for the benefit of the local people. He immediately gathered the virtuous squires of the nearby villages overnight, and everyone split up to prepare for a swift move. After two days and two nights of overtime work, everyone finally built a Jade Emperor Hall in a hurry, and invited a statue of the Jade Emperor from somewhere else.

This is the story that on the third day, a "temple" frightened Liu Bowen away, thus saving the lives of the nearby people. It is said that later Liu Bowen repeatedly searched for the worldly master who lived in seclusion, but he did not find it.
