Chapter Ninety-Five: The Donkey Riding Magician
Alan knew that Captain Hardich and Stirling's eldest brother were teammates who had fought with his father, and it was really unreasonable to cheat, so he drank it with a real gun, just like that, unconsciously, Allen was drunk on the table again, but compared to yesterday, Allen's state tonight was obviously much better, which made Sterling feel a little unbelievable, but after all, the facts were in front of them, and they couldn't help but believe it, so the outcome of this fight was not so important. It's just that they never dreamed that a magician would be willing to waste his precious skills on drinking, and if they knew, they would be angry and blame Alan for destroying the heavens.
But by this time our little magician Alan Kante had fallen asleep, and in the dream he had seen his father again, and Captain Havech and Big Brother Sterling, and he felt so happy at that moment.
"Cheers! Alan said in his dream.
The next morning, Alan woke up early to sweep away the malaise of the previous day's excessive drinking. In the courtyard, Captain Hardich led several team members to pack their luggage and prepare to leave at any time, Alan also hurriedly packed up and followed a few people out of the hotel, and the horses outside the hotel had already been prepared by the service staff of the tavern.
"Captain, I've never ridden a horse before, so what should I do?" asked Allen, a little nervous.
"Alan, you don't have to worry, we've thought of this a long time ago, and I guarantee that you won't be afraid to ride. Raheem Sterling replied for captain Havech.
"You're such nice people, you've taken care of it for me!" Alan said gratefully.
"You're welcome, that's what we should do. ”
"One, two, three, four, five!" Alan counted as he stood in front of a group of tall horses, but he immediately realized that something was wrong, for there were six of them, and there were only five horses in front of them.
"Brother Sterling, where's my horse?" asked Allen, turning to Sterling.
"Don't worry, I'll be out soon!"
Then Alan saw the hotel guy walking out with a donkey, a close relative of a black horse.
Sterling happily took the reins from his man's hand, led the donkey to Allen, looked at Allen's somewhat blue face, and said very proudly: "How is this? This is carefully selected for you, the tooth is only a teenager, not too old, not too demanding on riding, and a docile personality, even a 10-year-old child can ride freely." Are we satisfied, Alan?, are we thoughtful?" Sterling proudly introduced the special Divine Horse for Ellen, who seemed to be very cooperative and let out a string of rattling and then pulled a bubble of on the ground.
Seeing this scene, Alan only felt that his eyes were dark, and he finally knew that this was Sterling and a few people deliberately playing tricks on him, and he didn't just cause them to lose a few gold coins, as for such revenge!
"Alan, don't be stunned, let's go, aren't you in a hurry to destroy the wind wolf? If you don't leave, the wind wolf will run away!" Sterling turned on his horse, rode a dozen steps, and then turned back to Alan, who was still there looking at his steed's mount and wanted to cry without tears.
"Isn't that a bit excessive?" Captain Hardic asked Sterling in a low voice.
"Captain, have you forgotten how his father played tricks on me when I first joined?" retorted Sterling, nonchalantly.
"When is the time for retribution, maybe it will be more conducive to the growth of the little one, and it will not be in vain that we and his father have met each other. Captain Havech quickly changed his attitude and gave his brothers a high-sounding excuse.
"Let's go, Alan, donkeys have more stamina than horses, and you may run ahead of us after a long time!" Captain Havic also began to urge Alan.
"Yes, Alan, it won't be long before we hear from the bard the story of the young donkey-riding mage Alan Kanter vs. the Wind Wolf!" added Sterling, almost adding fuel to the fire, and the brothers laughed uncontrollably as they listened.
"I'll make you wretched people regret it!" Alan lamented with a blue face, but he had no choice but to turn over and get on the donkey in a huff, and then the donkey whipped up and followed.
So on the road to the northwest of the Yuss Empire, such a strange procession appeared. The five white-clothed men in front of them, who were full of energy and majesty, were talking and laughing all the way, and in the dust raised behind them, a young mage with a gray face and a dejected head riding a thin donkey did not say a word.
Along the way, Alan was thinking about how to move back to this game, and finally his heart moved, and he remembered how to deal with drinking, if he could put a flotation magic array on the donkey and lighten it with some counterweight, maybe it really couldn't be slower than a horse. Now that he has thought of a way, Alan secretly made up his mind that even if it costs a lot of money, he will put a magic suit on his donkey, so that they will not dare to underestimate him again.
A few days later, the group passed through a larger town and prepared to stay in the town, and after Alan had dropped off his luggage at the hotel, he ran out of the house, telling Captain Havech that he didn't have to wait for him for dinner. Although a few people were a little surprised by Allen's behavior, they didn't ask much, and they couldn't imagine that Allen had gone to buy the materials to make the Qi Levitation Magic Array.
On the rest of the journey, as soon as he arrived at the place where he would rest overnight, Alan would hide in his room alone after eating, not knowing what he was doing.
When he set out again one morning, the attentive captain Captain Havic suddenly noticed that the saddle bridge of the donkey that Alan was riding seemed to have changed somewhat, extending from the top to the belly of the donkey, and by the time he was curious to ask Alan what was going on, Alan had already taken the lead and walked to the front. So Captain Havech led several other team members to chase after them slowly on horseback, and then they discovered something that made them a little strange.
They found that Alan's mount was almost a complete horse, far ahead, and at first they didn't care, thinking that they could catch up with the horse by speeding up a little, but the fact was that the distance between the two sides was getting bigger and bigger.
Eventually, the men had to gallop before they caught up with Alan, the donkey-riding wizard who had been strolling in front of him.
"Alan, stop, your donkey, no, what's going on with your steed? Sterling finally got ahead of Allen, but the crosshorse stopped him, looking at the donkey under Allen's seat with a look of disbelief on his face.
"There are no bad mounts, only bad knights!" said Allen, sitting on the back of a donkey, holding his wand aloof, and for the first time since his departure, he was shy and confident.
