Interpretation: Gu, the food in the utensils is corrupt and insects, symbolizing the collapse of order from the peaceful and prosperous times, falling into chaos, and causing incidents. Gu hexagram is the righteousness of saving the evil and curing the chaos. Chaos is the rule, so "Yuan Heng". The Gu chaos is dangerous, and it needs to go through hardships and dangers to cure it, so it is said that it is beneficial to the river.
"Three days of Jia, three days after Jia", A is the beginning of the ten days of dryness, and by extension is the beginning of events, the first three days of A are Xin, Tongxin, which is the righteousness of self-renewal, and the last three days of A are Ding, which is the righteousness of Ding Ning. The first three days of A. means that things are about to collapse, and things should have a spirit of self-renewal, thinking of what is about to happen, and taking precautions before they happen. In the last three days, it is said that when the incident first occurred, it was not serious, and Ding Ning should be repeatedly observed, and it should be carefully observed that the mistakes of the past should not be repeated, and it should be saved in time.
The first three days, the second three days, plus the first day itself, make a total of seven days. Seven days is the cycle of the end and the cycle. The extremes of things must be reversed, so the first day is taken as a symbol of turning chaos into governance, and seven days is the time limit for curing Gu and getting prosperous.
The Gu hexagram is the earth and the heavens are the Tai hexagram, at the beginning of the dry Jiuyang and Kun above the six yin hexagrams, it becomes a mountain wind Gu hexagram, so it is said that it is just up and soft down. If the hexagram virtue is subordinate to Xun Shun and the upper is stopped, then the lower one is inferior and does not dare to disobey, and the one in the upper position does nothing, and chaos will arise from this, so it is necessary to punish the disorder.
The end of chaos is the beginning of disadvantages. When things are in chaos, if you can use all your heart and soul to save the day, then the world will be chaotic and restored, and things will be greatly prosperous. And the benefit of those involved in danger shows that we should actively do something to calm the chaos in the world. The end of the old is the beginning of the new, and this is the operation law of the Heavenly Dao.
"Elephant" said: There is wind under the mountain, Gu; The gentleman cultivates virtue by invigorating the people.
Interpretation: There is a wind under the mountain, and the wind stops when it meets the mountain, and the wind will be depressed inside, and it will be bad if it is depressed for a long time. A gentleman should inspire the people, cultivate the people's morality, save the corrupt social atmosphere, make those who stop to move, and those who enter the Xun make it out, so as to promote the good and eliminate the bad, and abandon the old and the new.
On the sixth day of the first month, the Gu of the godfather, there is a son, there is no blame for the test, and it is auspicious.
"Elephant" said: The Gu of the godfather, the intention is to take the test.
Interpretation: Gu is the corrupt cause of the predecessors, so everyone talks about their parents. The disaster of Gu is not a day's cause, often the parents raise their illnesses, and the son is able to do it, so it can overcome the sorrow and revitalize. Dry, correct, rectify, refer to the Gu hexagram above the nine lower into the initial position, into the earth Tiantai and cure the Gu. The father's Gu mainly lies in not wanting to make progress and stopping to move forward, that is, it is mainly derived from the Gen hexagram; And the mother's Gu lies in being too Shun and reluctant, that is, it mainly originates from Xun hexagram.
The reason why the Gu hexagram appeared was mainly because the first hexagram of the earth, heaven and Tai hexagram was just ascending and interchangeable with the six yin and soft to form the Gu hexagram, and the Qianyuan was damaged, so the whole hexagram was dominated by the Gu of the godfather, and the ninety-two hexagram was in the middle of the Xun so that the Gu of the mother was the heaviest, so the Gu of the godmother.
Kao, willing to be old, the dead father, also refers to the living father. The first six Gu is not deep and can still be governed, the capable son inherits his father's business, corrects his father's mistakes, and makes him not to blame, although this behavior is dangerous, but it will eventually be auspicious.
Ninety-two, the Gu of the godmother, cannot be chaste.
"Elephant" said: The Gu of the godmother has the middle way.
Interpretation: Ninety-two is rigid and soft, with the image of the middle way, able to correct the mistakes left by his mother with both rigidity and softness, and does not act stubbornly.
Ninety-three, the Gu of the godfather, there are small regrets, no big blame.
"Elephant" said: The Gu of the godfather is not to blame in the end.
Interpretation: Jiusan corrected his father's mistakes and was too impatient to do his best and regretted a little, but he was ultimately not to blame because he won his position.
Six*four, the Gu of Yu's father, go to see you.
"Elephant" said: The Gu of Yu's father has not been obtained.
Interpretation: Yu, tolerance. 6*4 was lenient and excessive in correcting his father's mistakes, but he could not get to the bottom of it and rectify it thoroughly, so that he fell deeper and deeper, brought humiliation on himself, and gained nothing.
Sixty-five, the Gu of the godfather, with reputation.
"Elephant" said: Godfather uses reputation, and inherits virtue.
Interpretation: Liuwu multiplied his father with virtue, corrected his father's mistakes, and maintained his father's reputation.
On the nineth, it is not a prince, but a noble thing.
"Elephant" said: If you don't care about the prince, you can also do it.
Interpretation: The Nine Gu is deep and incurable, so the gentleman is not tired of things and is noble and self-controlled, and his ambition can be used as a law for people to learn.
