Chapter 4: A Corner of the Bloody Domain

The white light faded, and everything around him slowly returned to color, and a ray of sunlight reflected through the curtain on Draenor's tired face, making it impossible to tell where he was for a moment.

"Wake up!" A girl in a white silk nightdress approached him, and she handed Draeno a copper cup.

Draenor didn't know what to do for a moment, and although the burning sensation of pain had faded, his limbs still seemed to be scorched.

"Don't worry, it's just ordinary spring water. You must be thirsty! The girl gently brought the cup to his mouth. Hearing this, Draenor suddenly felt his throat dry and hot as swallowing a few pounds of scorching coal, and he didn't have time to reach out and take the cup before he took a bite of the rim and swallowed the cow.

"Ahem, ahem!" Draenor choked on a mouthful of water swallowed into his trachea, but he didn't realize it: he felt like a newborn baby, relying entirely on instinct to perform basic survival movements.

"Do you feel like a newborn baby?" The girl scoffed as if she had read his mind. Draenor was awakened by the teasing, and it was only then that he realized that the series of events that had happened just a few hours ago was not a dream at all, but an iron-clad reality.

Draenor adjusted his breathing, but his heart was still beating because the moment he regained consciousness, his eyes were already looking around him:

It was a large, finely decorated circular room, but there were eight windows in which his eyes looked in direct direction, each of which was nearly 3m high. Underneath the window are several sets of long tables filled with mysterious tools and instruments, each of which is joined by a bookshelf pinned to the wall.

On either side of him are wooden shelves with strange containers and plants, and a wall with a large tapestry painting, presumably portraits of important people, with strange characters written in red paint underneath.

The closest mystery to him now was the girl standing to his right hand and handing him water, and a tall, richly dressed woman behind her, who was almost speechless when Draenor looked at it, and even though the face was beautiful, he could clearly see that there was no expression on the face of the tall woman, or that it mimicked the facial structure of a living person like a sculpture, especially the jewel-like but godless eyes.

"I don't know exactly what happened, but the process is probably that you are dying, but you still survived. Congratulations! The girl touched Draenor's forehead and briefly briefed him on the situation as she made sure the fever had subsided.

"Well, it looks like it's completely fine. Come on, see for yourself! It's as robust as a newly-born foal! The girl handed out a mirror made of metal.

She was not exaggerating, Draenor saw that the young man in the mirror not only looked quite good, but even every inch of skin had no signs of injury, and what shocked Draenor the most was that he in the mirror was obviously much younger.

"Hahaha, look at the look in his eyes!" The girl turned to the woman behind her, then turned to Stare Draenor with beautiful eyes. It was a pair of bright red eyes, and the upper and lower eyelids were covered with long, curly eyelashes, and for a moment when they looked at each other, Draenor didn't know whether he felt a hint of fear or temptation.

"You're alive!" The girl once again emphasized the current situation of Draenor itself in a strange accent, and when she saw that his eyes were glazed and unresponsive, she suddenly became a little nervous, and she hurriedly asked the woman behind her:

"Stella! He didn't understand what I said before, did he? It's not good, it should be stupid to drink water too quickly! ”

"I can understand ......," Draenor replied with his mouth finally open. The girl's eyes flickered as if they were shining, and she smiled with joy, "Great! You're a Dori, indeed! How do you feel now? ”

"Hmm...... I was a little numb, but fortunately I didn't feel any pain. Draenor said.

"Hmm... I don't feel any pain anymore...... Very well," the girl repeated Draenor's words as if reciting. Draenor suddenly thought of the shipwreck that had happened before, and he suddenly struggled to get out of bed with his eyes wide open, only to hit his head on the floor due to the uncoordinated limbs.

"Hey, you can't get out of bed yet, can you? It will probably be an hour or two before I can walk. The girl said.

"Shipwreck...... Did you see anyone else in the place where I was found? Our ship was shipwrecked, did anyone survive? Draenor hurriedly asked the girl.

"Shipwrecked? …… Is this a word? The girl said with some confusion, "Anyway, no matter what you have been through before, I have to tell you what happened."

A few months ago, I went to your continent to find someone, and I simply came back with no clues. When I came back, I heard that there were smugglers on the beach, and the guards were going to arrest you, so I simply made up a reason that you were my friend, so I brought you. That's probably it, got it? ”

"Our continent...... Oroban? Draenor asked, puzzled.

"Oroban?...... What! Isn't Canaan Canaan? The girl replied without asking.

"Aurorban is our continent, and I'm from the Doric region of Aurorban, a small country called Eichenryde."

The girl thought for a moment and finally spoke, "I know there, but for us here, Canaan is Canaan, no matter what is east, west, north and south, big and small. ”

"Am I ....... now" Before Draenor could finish speaking, the girl hurriedly replied, "That's right." What should you call it? Far West?"

Draenor had a myriad of nicknames for the place in his mind: the Exiled Lands, the Dead Island, the Fractured Continent, and, of course, the Bloody Domain, as everyone would call it.

"But then again, you don't seem to have answered my questions, how does it feel to come back to life?" The girl asked again.

"I don't know how to say it. Anyway, it feels a little incredible......" Draenor symbolically replied to her question.

"Hmm...... By the way, my name is Vicky Ric, this language may be a bit difficult for you to pronounce, many people like to call me Vicky, whatever you want. The girl said.

"Draenor ......," he replied,

β€œ.…… That's it, and then what? Gone?! The girl wondered if it was the first time she had heard such a short name, and she couldn't even tell what it was a surname or a first name.

"That's it, Draenor." He replied that the name or surname didn't matter to Draenor anymore, it was just a calling, or a feeling, that he could know that it represented himself.

"Hmm...... I'll have to give you a name, since it's been so long, I'll use Draenor as your last name......" The girl had already found her favorite name from the previous poetry book before Draenor could react.

β€œChad… Chadwick, Chadwick! It seems like a scientist's name, although it doesn't seem to fit your image......"

The girl looked at Draenor lying on the bed with strange eyes, and Draenor suddenly realized that her height and the bed didn't seem to match at all. The beautifully decorated cot should be just right for a little girl to sleep in, but his height is even half a calf more than the bed.

"Ahh I'm sorry, I'm tall. Draenor explained embarrassedly.

"That's not the reason..... the girl pointed to his lower body and said, "You've been planning to get up from the bed without clothes since just now, can you please cover the quilt now?" ”

Draenor suddenly realized that he hadn't been wearing clothes since he was brought here! Just now, he was so excited that he was going to get up from the bed naked because of the shipwreck, and he was really ashamed, so he quickly pulled the quilt and rolled it up on himself.

"Hahahaha, look at you like a child." The girl laughed, "All right, Chadwick. Draenor, you're almost on your feet. Stella, get him clothes, the size is bigger, he should be more than 1.9 meters. ”

In a few moments, the expressionless woman walked towards Draenor with a beautiful exotic outfit.

"You guys get along well, I'll go downstairs and wait for you first!" The girl smiled slightly, closed the door and went downstairs with brisk steps.

Before Draenor could come to his senses, the woman had lifted his quilt and put his underwear on him.

"What..... No! I can wear it myself! ”

"Mademoiselle told me about your physical condition, you need 20 minutes to fully recover your physical function. Please let me dress you before you get ready for exercise. The woman still said with a strange expression, and after a closer look, she found that the woman was not expressionless, and the corners of her mouth were slightly raised, but with the unnatural opening and closing of her mouth, this smile became more and more weird.

After a few tosses, Draenor finally got dressed and went downstairs. And the girl had been waiting for a long time on the wooden chair downstairs.

"I'll see! Well, that's good! It's still a little small, but at least the shirt is very refreshing! The girl named Vikliko nodded and smiled, "Although you have recovered, you should need something to eat." ”

"Oh yes, you don't need this thing, just leave it on the table."

Vikily points to the bag hanging from Draenor's waist, which is a small bag of silver coins found on the ship. Though he didn't know why, Draenor did as he was told and dropped the money bag on the table.

The girl took Draenor by the arm and led him to the door, and the moment she pushed the door open, Draenor was fascinated by the sight of him.

It is a steam-spewing city, with Baroque and Mediterranean buildings standing in front of you. People of all colors drove horse-drawn carriages. The steam engine drove on the streets. The sight of prosperity made Draenor feel like he had traveled back in time to the future.

"Hahaha, isn't it beautiful! Welcome to the beautiful city of Hermanstudt! The girl bowed exaggeratedly and said,

"It's what you Canaanites know as the Bloody Realm."
