Chapter 2: The Great Wave
Draenor finally climbed onto the boat, which, as the veteran had said, was almost entirely filled with the weapons of the Eichenrydes except for a few stockpiles.
He carefully untied the knot that connected the chain to the boat, and with a careful and firm push of his oars towards the big boat, the boat broke away from the sailboat's course and drifted slowly north.
After making sure that he was far enough away from the galleon through the thick fog, Draenor turned his attention to the bag containing the booty, and he untied the canvas to find that it was full of maces, one-handed swords, two-handed swords, axes, bows and arrows, and so on.
In addition, there were a few bags of silver coins that were enough for a big man to squander for a while. As Draenor glanced at the weapon, he suddenly fixed his gaze on a black two-handed sword, and by looking at the texture, he knew that it was forged from high-grade steel.
"It's a blessing to be able to escape, but it's only harder to live with this bunch of burdens." Draenor thought to himself.
In the face of the desire to survive, Draenor did not hesitate at all, leaving only the two-handed sword that Xin Yi wanted, and the other weapons were sunk in the sea by him one after another.
"Well, if you have the opportunity to go ashore, maybe you can keep it for self-defense."
Draenor tied the small bag of silver coins he had left behind to his trouser belt, and because of the fog he couldn't see the way forward, he simply lowered the oars first. He had plenty of time to adjust to this miraculous sudden freedom.
"The year 1718 of the Miracle is the 1718th year since the Creator disappeared from this world...... The sad and terrible war has lasted for 14 years, when will the human desire come to an end? Having lost my hometown, where do I go now? ”
Draenor asked questions over and over again.
"Zhiyu of the Far West, when the ship docks, are my comrades-in-arms really going to die in the mouths of strange beasts? Then what's the difference between me and stealing my life....."
"Damn it!" Delaeno was overwhelmed by a deep sense of powerlessness in his heart, and he couldn't help but punch the deck of the ship, and the ship shook suddenly.
The irony is that he clearly has extraordinary strength, but at the critical moment, he can experience a more desperate sense of powerlessness than ordinary people. He felt like his young life was like this ship, bobbing on the boundless sea with heavy blows.......
The rocking of the boat became more and more intense, from a slight tilt at the beginning to almost being overturned!
"Oh my God! I still have aftershocks with this punch? Delaeno felt like he was about to lose his balance, and he slumped on the deck, his hands gripping the rails as hard as he could to stabilize the boat.
He noticed that the surface of the water near him was gradually glowing with a black liquid, and there was a suffocating smell of sea, like the eerie smell of a whale that had been stranded for a week.
Suddenly, with a loud bang, the figure of a giant beast suddenly rose on the surface of the sea in the distance!
Draenor could faintly see the monster's shadow through the dense fog - it had whale-like fins, but it had a dragon-like slender body and neck, and a jet of water shot from the head of the giant beast into the air, and in a few moments the sea surface was like a torrential rain for tens of meters nearby.
It's the Dragon King Whale!
"Isn't this thing extinct early?" Draenor shouted as he wiped the water from his face.
The beast let out a deafening roar, and before Draenor could recover from its horror, a heavy crash was heard, followed by the screams of countless people and the cracking of wooden structures.
"It's the ship! No! ”
Delaeno didn't know what was happening on the other side of the fog, and the abstract dread that came from everywhere seemed to seep into his every pore.
With the loud sound of the giant beast falling into the sea, huge waves hit from the depths of the thick fog!
"Damn it!"
Draenor was on the verge of biting his teeth into the gums, tying himself to the seat beam, his fingers nearly snapping into the ship's wood.
But it was too late, the huge waves of dozens of meters overturned the boat several times, and the salty water choked Draeno and preferred to be reincarnated as a fish! The fear of chaos kept Draeno at his composure, and another wave came at him.
The waves swept the wreckage of the sailboat against Draenor and his boat, and a mast swept up by the waves slammed into his head.
Before Draenor could feel the pain, he fell into a soul-like coma.
