Chapter 23: The Wolves
Vicilico walked alone on the snow-covered mountaintop in her hood, everything in front of her was obscured by the gray sky.
But she was familiar with the snow-capped mountains that had guarded her hometown for hundreds of years, and if she found any familiar location, she was sure to find Draenor and his party with a clear memory following the route marked on the map.
The powerful hurricane nearly tossed Vicilico into the air, and she held back her body and struggled to take steps.
Although she had told Hedwin before that the Misarians, who were blood-cold constitutions, would not be affected much by the cold, that was purely to reassure Hedwin at the time. In fact, the Misareans, as a branch of the Blood Sect, have been forbidden for more than a dozen centuries, and their bodies are not as strong as their ancestors.
Although it is difficult to feel the pain of cold nerves, the cold environment is more likely to slow down the flow of blood in Vikirico's body, which causes the whole body to slowly freeze into ice cubes.
Just as she felt the difficulty of her movements, the roar of the beast could be heard faintly from the woodland ahead.
"Damn... At this time...... "Vikili could sense that the beast was approaching.
Because she had been following the direction of the blizzard's wind, her peculiar scent was blown into the forest not far ahead, attracting hungry wolves.
Vikily picked up her pace and ran through the snow, the wolves gasping for excitement as they chased after her.
"Damn, I don't have a choice." Vekily sensed that the wolves could pounce on her at any moment. She pulled out a test tube-shaped container of dark red liquid from her coat pocket, bit down on the seal, and drank it down with bated breath.
As the heart erupted with spasmodic pain, a stream of hot blood exploded inside Vikirico's body. Her delicate hands turned into claws as sharp as blades, and her pupils filled her entire eye socket like bloodshot.
She turned and swooped down on the wolves at a speed that was hard to catch with the naked eye. Blizzard became a myriad of particles frozen in the air in her eyes, and the whole world seemed to stop turning.
A pungent breath filled her nostrils, yes, they were four terrifying wolves. Vicili did her best to keep her sanity, but her body was awakened by the scent of blood. She grabbed a giant wolf and fought it.
Vikily knew that she wouldn't have time to shake off the beasts on the way down the mountain before the effects wore off, and she couldn't run back to the cave or run to Draenor to put the crowd in danger. The only thing that can be done now is to do your best to defeat these four beasts.
Vekily dodged the giant wolf that pounced on her, grabbing it by the neck and riding on it. The giant wolf struggled frantically under Vikilic's crotch, she pulled the wolf's mouth with one hand, and the other hand clasped the wolf's cervical vertebrae and twisted it hard, and this time she eliminated one.
Almost at the same second, another wolf took the opportunity to pounce and bite Vikilic's arm with its jagged jaws, hanging her in mid-air.
She flung her claws and stabbed the wolf into the eye socket, and the beast let out a scream in its throat, and it slammed its head against the trunk of the tree.
Vicheria covered her bitten arm, and the white snow around her was stained crimson. As the blood drained, Vikily felt the effects of the medicine wear off, and her arm healed quickly, but lost the last shred of resistance.
The three-headed beast surrounds Vikirico, and it looks like she's been cornered. With a wry smile of helplessness on her face, Vicilico closed her eyes and fainted.
A low roar suddenly came from the depths of the storm, and even the snow in the treetops was shaken to pieces. A huge beast shadow flew in front of Viklico.
It was a terrifying beast nearly two meters tall, with a wolf-like head and a long, slender body of a primate, and hot steam constantly emitting from the skin covered in long black hair.
The giant beast exhaled a hot breath towards Vekirico, and it jerked its head back, and slowly straightened up its huge body in front of the three giant wolves.
Not to be outdone, the giant wolf tightened his facial muscles together, baring his terrifying fangs and letting out a creepy growl.
I saw that the eyes of the giant beast burst out with fiery blood, and as soon as it picked up a giant wolf and threw it into the air. The other two wolves pounced on it with their jaws open, and the beast slammed one of them to the ground with one palm, then turned its head and bit the throat of the other, crushing it along with the cervical vertebrae.
With the last whimper of the wolf, the only thing left in the forest was the howl of the storm.
The beast let out a deep sigh, and it turned around and took the fainted Vikiriko in its mouth and ran towards a small cave on the hillside......
I don't know how long it took, but Vikirico gradually regained consciousness, and she felt like she was falling into a thick fog. She slowly stood up with the soft soil beside her, and found that there was a sea of blood-red Manju Sawa flowers in front of her, and a breeze stirred the sea of flowers and waves.
"Strange, why is there still wind in such a big fog?" Vickily felt like she had stepped into a dream, and suddenly a pleasant song rang out in her ears. Ah, what a familiar and mysterious voice she had heard countless times whisper in her ear, a song that haunted her from the depths of her dreams.
"Vill Woog. Elowinnia ...... "The ghostly voice blew with the wind in the thick mist, like a summoning to someone......
Vill Wooger...... Who the hell is that......" Vikirik was full of confusion as the ghost seemed to call out to someone.
Vikli gradually remembered that she had been here. This mysterious dream was like a cradle that disappeared into her mind, and every cell in her body gradually felt a familiar warmth.
There must have been an important reason why the ghost had summoned itself here, and it had repeatedly called the name in Viklico's mind.
She knew that the ghost had a powerful magical power, which was somewhat similar to that of Viklico. But unlike she, who can travel through other people's dreams, this ghost seems to be able to bring you directly into its dreams. Or rather, to be able to bring its dreams to your mind.
The wind gradually stopped, and the fog once again enveloped the world in front of him. Vicheria immediately got up and tried to find the mysterious ghost in the direction of the voice, but she felt her steps getting lighter and lighter, as if she were slowly floating in the air.
She lost her gravity completely, and she was churning in the air and flying higher and higher. After a sharp fall, Vikliko snapped open her eyes, revealing a cave less than six meters wide, and she was lying on top of a giant beast covered in long black hair.
"It's that dream again...... Vicilico breathed a sigh of relief, and lay tired in the warm fluff of the beast. She stared at the world outside the cavern that had been splashed white, until the hurricane slowly stopped, until the last snowflakes fell to the ground......
