Tomb Robber's Notes 1/2

The first time I heard a dog barking was in that ancient cemetery, and perhaps everything, including my friend's last words, was inextricably linked to the curse of the jade pendant.

However, when I arrived at the hotel, I found that the thieves had stolen the jade pendant, and I was completely in despair.

The dog barked so loudly that night that I didn't learn of an unspeakable ** in the filthiest corner of the city until I read the morning newspaper the next day.

The people at the bottom were in a panic because there was a mob gathering place, bleeding overnight, with more brutality than any crime ever committed in that place.

A group of people were torn to pieces, but the unknown beast that caused the accident left no trace, and the neighbors claimed to have heard the barking of dogs all night.

And this vicious dog barking undoubtedly came from the mouth of a giant hound.

In this way, I finally returned to the graveyard that I hated, the white winter day, the ugly viewing cast by the moonlight, and the bare branches hanging limply and caressing the cracked tombstones.

The scene scared away a colony of bats circling around the tombstones, and the fainter and fainter barking of dogs stopped altogether.

I don't know why I'm here, except for prayers, I can only plead and apologize like crazy, hoping to appease the white bones in the coffin, for whatever reason, I did come, half of my own will, and the other half controlled by some consciousness outside of my body.

The digging was a little easier than I had imagined, but it was interrupted by a strange event, a scrawny vulture, swooping down from the cold sky, pecking frantically at the grave dirt until I was killed with a shovel.

I finally dug up the rotten coffin and lifted the damp canopy, which was the last time my reason came into play.

The coffin of 500 years ago was nightmarishly crowded with sleeping giant bats, clustered around the skeleton of the treasure that my friend and I had stolen from, but it was not as clean and calm as the last time we saw it, but covered with dried blood and wisps of foreign flesh and fur, glowing green eye sockets, and blood-stained fangs as if they were sentient

Twisted mockery of the doom I couldn't avoid.

Seeing this, the low, frantic barking of the dog sounded in my ears again, and I saw him clutching my lost jade pendant in his bloody, filthy paws.

I could only scream and run away aimlessly, but the screams quickly turned into hysterical bursts of laughter.

When I woke up, I found myself lying on the ground as if nothing had happened around me.

A man claiming to be Moritia stopped me and told me the details of the incident, and invited me to join their order.

I didn't pay much attention to it at first, until the guy took me to the basement, where I saw this magnificent sight, with countless inscriptions carved into the walls mysterious and powerful.

So I accepted his invitation and began my journey of atonement.

I put on their clothes, and then took advantage of the wind under the stars to come to this strange land, and from time to time I praised the huge figure, hoping to be forgiven.

The people around me don't know what I'm going to do, they just feel like I'm acting strangely? It's even ridiculous, how can these guys understand the fear of being dominated by that monster?

For me, I am even more ashamed of their ignorance.

Halfway through the hymn of praise, there was a gloom around me, and in this gloom I saw bloody corpses riding an army of bats flying out of the grave.

I was speechless at the sight of these things, maybe the guy didn't forgive me, but it was too late at this point.

I remembered what Moritia had said to me, and I remembered the oddities I had collected, that at this point everything had become meaningless, and that I would eventually pay a terrible price for the mistakes I had made.

The journey of collecting treasures that cannot be described in detail is naturally a wonderful and memorable event. My friends and I are not just gravediggers for money, we only do this kind of thing when the emotional terrain environment, the weather season, and the moonshine are in specific situations.

This pastime is nothing more than the most delicate aesthetic expression in our eyes, I

We will treat the details with a particular and even harsh attitude, and every time we dig up those ominous secrets from the dirt, we will be intoxicated, and the time is not suitable for the light, and the light is not ideal, and it is too clumsy to deal with, and any flaw will ruin the joy of tomb robbing.

Our fanatical and insatiable pursuits, the bizarre circumstances and the thrilling conditions, led by my friend who had always been my friend, was the one who brought us to that cursed place.

It was a nightmare.

As I drowned, I saw a lot of things, and I knew that I had lured that monster over, and that monster was going to take the lives of others in this city.

But what does all this have to do with me?

The barking of the dog grew stronger and stronger, and the pain gradually turned into a kind of happiness, and a smile appeared on my face under that happiness.

And embrace the darkness with open arms.

Finally, as I was dying, I saw the monster, it was not a vicious dog, but something I had never seen before, it had been hidden in the darkness and was so large that when the light was restored I saw it disappear in front of me, and I was dead.

I looked at my mutilated body, but the corners of my mouth went up slightly, and I knew that my death would eventually make this monster forgive itself, and this monster was our god.

This is a realm that humans cannot explore, and there are many strange things, it is better to bury them in the ground, and once these secrets are revealed, then humanity will face the catastrophe of extinction, either surrender or die.

And those who surrender will eventually die...... Looking at the blurring sight before me, I felt that the monster was still with me, and that I would be given new life by the gods, and that I would become his servant, assimilating all the people of this world.

That's what I'm going to do, and that's what all the assimilated people do...... No one can escape this nightmare, and since there is no escape, enjoy this nightmare and be a part of it.

The terrifying sound of a dog barking in my ears was heard again, but this time I was not afraid, but unusually happy, knowing that the gods had chosen me...... I'm going to do everything I can for that.
