Chapter 2: Hell on Earth
Dean, who is an exorcist, can always feel absent-minded these days, and the whole world begins to unrest in turmoil. Today is obviously a sunny day, but in the eyes of the exorcists, these sunny clouds are all terrifying disguises of gray and gloomy. Even the exorcism artifact on the table seemed to be infected by this inexplicable uneasiness, trembling and issuing a warning. Even in the house of the exorcist Dean, the artifact was trembling uncontrollably.
"What the hell is going on here?" Dean stood in front of the window, unapprehending to observe the clues outside the window, and he wanted to get an answer right away.
The family of three are all very devout Christians, and they pray every day before cooking, and on weekends they meet to go to church for Mass. Their family lives in great harmony, and the Father in Heaven is equally fond of this family of three, and will always keep an eye on them in heaven.
But recently, the Olier family has been visiting church less often, and the time they have spent together for pre-dinner prayers has become less frequent. The Father in Heaven was very puzzled because he could not sense the sincere prayers of this family, so he told the pastor of the church seriously about it in a dream, and the father decided to send his most trusted believer in the world to Oliel's house to see what had happened to their family.
The priest was excited for a while when he received the Father's instructions from the Father in Heaven, and then his face was very ugly, and the priest seemed to sense the seriousness of the matter. Generally, the gods in heaven will not take the initiative to entrust dreams to believers in the world, not to mention that this time the dreams are entrusted to the masters in charge of the heavenly realm. Without further ado, the priest simply packed his belongings and headed for Oliel's house.
On a rainy day, the crows were not affected by the weather, and flew on the branches of the trees and cried happily. Due to the bad weather, there are hardly many pedestrians on the streets, and this is a sparsely populated remote town. Oliel's home was not far from the church, and it didn't take long for the pastor to come to the place where the Father had emphasized.
Another strange thing here is the front garden of the Olier family, which has many brightly colored mandalas growing in it. What was even more frightening was that the air around his house was filled with the smell of death, the pungent smell of sulfur entering the priest's nose, the smell of hell, and the man clutched the cross that he had been holding in his hand even tighter.
There was no one in the house at this time, and the priest tiptoed past the flowers in the front yard to the door of the house. He put his ear close to the door, and he could faintly hear a call from the radio inside.
“… Hiss... Hiss... The Book of Covenants... Hiss... Es. 23:1... Jah... Hiss...... To silence the Israelites... Not with... Hiss... Everything around ...... Hiss...... Enemy war... Hiss... Hiss... It's been days... Hisss ...... Proverbs 1:33......"
There was no sound other than the Bible repeated on the radio in Olier's house. Suddenly, the door in front of the priest slowly opened, and an even more pungent smell of sulfur rushed towards him from the house, but fortunately the protection of the cross dispersed them, and the man escaped.
"Who is so bold, the Bible and the power of the cross will not drive you away!" The priest roared boldly, and then hunched into the house, creeping his way along the wall, and in a moment he came to the room with the tape recorder.
“… Hiss...... Hiss......... but listen to my ......... Hiss... It will be safe...... Hiss... Reside...... Enjoy peace and tranquility...... Hiss...... Not afraid of calamity......"
The Bible was played on the radio at a slow pace, as if someone had deliberately prolonged the time, and it would be strange to hear such a slow, gentle voice in an empty room. The priest became more vigilant, and he kept his mind keen to observe his surroundings.
"Ahh The moment the priest turned around, he saw the three dried corpses leaning on the sofa behind him, and couldn't help but be frightened.
Poor Olier and his family had fallen victim to the devil, and the priest bowed his head in grief in memory of the believers who were devoted to God.
"What contrived, how pretentious." The man who had been hiding in the shadows stepped out, staring at the priest with great hatred and not leaving for a moment.
"Ahh Satan! The priest stretched out the cross that he had been holding in his hand and placed it in front of the demon: "Devil, get out of here!" ”
"Stop pretending to be merciful, Angelo." On the couch that was ignored by the priest, the man who didn't know when he was sitting.
"Lucifer." Priest Angelo knew that he had not escaped the eyes of the demons, and he avoided the demon's sharp gaze in fear.
"Back then, how did you promise me?" Lucifer walked solemnly to the priest's side, and he suppressed his anger in the face of a human who betrayed him, which is the greatest mercy of a man to a good creature.
"Who knew you would rebel against God and become a fallen angel!" The pastor argued vigorously, and he retreated in fear.
"I'm falling, what does that have to do with Lilith! How did you promise me? Take good care of her, raise her well, and watch her grow up! Lucifer grew angrier, the expression on his face became hideous, and two horns on his head loomed.
"It's useless for you to say anything now, she's dead anyway." Priest Angelo's eyes had faded considerably, and he had missed the innocent girl as well, but he couldn't have shown remorse in front of the demons.
Although the well-informed Lucifer had fallen, he could see Angelo's lost expression, and the man's heart felt a little better at this time, so he resisted the urge to kill the priest, calmly restored his previous appearance, and continued to Pastor Angelo: "Take me to her." Even if Lucifer knew that his Lilith had left him, he would keep the girl in a human shell waiting for her return.
The church seemed so lonely in the afternoon autumn sun, and from the moment Lucifer swaggered in, it was no longer the sacred place that the believers worshipped, and it was no longer a place where all disasters could be sheltered.
"Where is she?" Lucifer's voice raised a lot, and the fire that had been suppressed was about to explode again.
"Lilith was buried by me in the cemetery behind the church." Angelo glanced at the back door of the church and explained to the man.
Lucifer finally had no more pity for the traitor in front of him, and he breathed a sigh of relief, and with a snap of his fingers, Angelo was sent to hell, and he planned to take Lilith home to punish the priest for not keeping his promise. Then, the man couldn't hold back the restless heart in his body and rushed out of the back door of the church, and then he found the tombstone of his beloved - Lilith's tomb at a glance, and saw her name, and Lucifer's eyes actually flashed with stars and tears.
"Lilith, I'll take you home......"
