Chapter 29: Marmite

Near noon, Hogwarts Castle, which had been silent all night, was rejuvenated.

Occasionally, Albert could meet other students in the hallways or aisles. It can only be said that it is the nature of most people to lie in bed, especially on weekends, when most people prefer to sleep a little longer when they do not need to get up early.

It was still raining outside the castle, most of the students would stay in the auditorium and chat, and there were a handful of unlucky people who didn't finish their homework in time and were busy copying their summer homework.

While exploring the castle, the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan couldn't hold on and slipped away first.

Still, Albert spent the morning touring the castle and taking interesting photos with his camera. When he returned to the auditorium after a walk, he felt a dull pain in his calf.

The harvest of this trip was quite good, and Albert used his memory to draw a rough map of the castle.

Although I heard from others that every Friday, the position of some stairs in Hogwarts Castle would change, but that was next Friday, and Albert didn't take it seriously, and there would naturally be a solution at that time.

It is worth mentioning that the quest to explore Hogwarts Castle has reached 26.7%.

"Why are you the only one, your friends?" said Angelina and another girl as she walked over to the other side, sat down on the chair across from Albert, and greeted Albert.

"When I was visiting the castle, I slipped halfway through. Albert picked up a slice of bread from his plate, and he was about to make himself a sandwich, "The three guys probably found something interesting, and handed me the blueberry jam over there, thank you." ”

"How's your castle map, can you lend me a look?" Angelina pushed the bottle of blueberry jam over to her right and gestured to Albert's left-hand piece of parchment.

"I still think it's important to walk around the castle on your own, it's one of the pleasures of being a freshman. Albert handed the parchment to the girl across from him and scooped up the bottle of blueberry jam.

"What's that?" said Arya, leaning her head over and staring at the simple sketch, frowning slightly. She struggled to read, but she could also see some of the secret passages and classroom markings, where the stairs needed to be crossed.

"By the way, here's our class schedule. Albert copied two more copies of the timetable and handed them to the two opposites.

"What kind of magic is that?" asked Angelina, curious.

"Copy Charm, you can turn one item into two. "Arya, who was born into a wizarding family, recognized Albert's spell at a glance.

Not all wizarding families have a free-range policy like Weasley, and Arya has been educated as a good wizard since she was a child, starting a little higher than most of her students.

"A useful little trick, isn't it?" said Albert, winking at the two of them, and continued, "With it, you don't have to take notes, just ask someone else to 'borrow' one." ”

Arya looked at Albert with strange eyes, and always felt that this guy's thinking logic was different from others.

"Can you get me a copy? so I don't have to worry about finding a place in the classroom." ”

"Aren't you worried about making a mistake?" Albert asked rhetorically.

"Of course I'll check it myself. Arya said as a matter of course.

"Do you want it?" Albert looked at Angelina.

"Thank you. Angelina said with a smile.

Hogwarts Castle is indeed not small, and it is easy for new students to get lost, and with Albert's map, at least they know where to go.

Being late on the first day of school doesn't bode well.

"By the way, I think you seem to be from a Muggle family. Arya put away the map and asked, "How do you have so many spells?" I dare say most freshmen don't know as many spells as you do. ”

"Before school started, when I practiced spells, most of the spells were fairly simple. Albert spread blueberry jam on the bread slices and took a big bite, which tasted good, but it was a bit unbearable to eat all day.

"Simple?" The two looked at each other, and suddenly felt an inexplicable pressure.

After getting their own wand, most freshmen try to use the magic in the books. Angelina and Alya, of course, were no exception, they had learned some simple magic, but not as light as Albert had suggested, and it was as easy learning magic as eating a loaf of bread.

After eliminating the slice of bread coated with blueberry jam, Albert made himself a sandwich.

Lunches in the English are always unsatisfactory, and Hogwarts is no exception, and bread and potatoes are always the staple food here.

This lunch has slices of bread, boiled potatoes, fresh vegetable salad, salted ham. Of course, a large pot of milk tea, or pumpkin juice is indispensable.

After Albert finished the ham sandwich, he added two potatoes with skin on his plate. After a morning of wandering around the castle, his stomach was already hungry.

In other words, during meal time, there was no trace of the three people, and I didn't know where to go.

"I really miss rice and pasta. Albert muttered quietly and continued to wipe out the skinned potatoes on the plate.

As one of the staple foods of the British people, he has eaten them almost every day for many years, and people in this country can even use potatoes to make a hundred dishes without repetition.

Although the potatoes are not unpalatable, they are a bit unbearable to eat.

"The pasta was delicious. Angelina chimed in, "I've eaten it a few times, and the taste is nostalgic. ”

"British food is always disappointing, and the variety is so good that the chefs here never really look at how to cook it. Albert poured himself a cup of milk tea, took a sip, and complained, "I remember eating a plate of roasted whole fish with sea salt and herb bread crust a while ago." ”

The two looked at each other with interest as Albert complained about all sorts of strange British foods, such as his father's favorite french fry sandwiches, and his grandmother's favorite marmite sauce in the family......

Albert remembers the first time he tasted Marmite and it was ...... The taste of hell, that taste is truly unforgettable.

If you have to describe it, it should be a strong soy sauce smell mixed with various body odors.

Since then, Albert has stayed away from Marmite sauce.

"If any of you are interested, I'll send her a bottle for Christmas at Christmas. ”

"Ahem. Arya suddenly lost her appetite, "No, thank you, I still want to eat some normal food, so as not to turn back to my stomach when I see the jam later." ”

After drinking milk tea, end lunch.

Albert sat at the dining table and looked at the photographs he had taken earlier, including knight's armor, a view of the castle, a portrait, or a more exaggerated sculpture...... These photographs reveal a glimpse of Hogwarts.

It's just that seeing Albert picking out photos, Angelina actually wants to complain, you guys are not students who come to school at all, but more like tourists who come to visit Hogwarts Castle.
