Chapter 35: Change

The first thing Cynthia knew when she came out of the medical wing was the news that Gryffindor's most beautiful lily and Slytherin's potions master were in love.

"Thea, you don't know, yesterday morning in the hall, they were together, and many people saw it! I can't believe it! Elsa kept expressing her shock to Cynthia.

Cynthia sat on the edge of the bed sluggishly, unable to believe her ears.

West, Severus and Evans, together?

"Thea, you, what's wrong with you? Why are you crying? Elsa watched her friend sit dumbfounded, a few tears sliding down her cheeks.

"Huh?" Cynthia hurriedly wiped the tears from her face, "I, I'm fine......"

"How can it be okay?! Thea, tell me what's wrong? Elsa hurried over to Cynthia.

"I ...... I like him......" Cynthia bowed her head.

"I'm sorry, Thea. I, I forgot you liked ......"

"It's alright, Al! Just kind of like it! Cynthia struggled to pull out a smile.

………………………………………

Cynthia has been in a bad mood these days, everyone can see it, and they know why this is happening.

Elsa, Regulus, Lucius, and Narcissa have tried not to mention Snape in front of Cynthia these days.

Soon, Friday night arrived. The activities of the research and law society made it necessary for the two to meet.

"Long time no see, Severus...... Heard...... Are you together? Cynthia met Severus at the door of the prefect's lounge.

"Good evening, Cynthia. Yes, me and Lily, we're fine! Severus unconsciously smiled happily.

The smile was like a knife, piercing deep into Cynthia's heart. "Congratulations, congratulations, your wish has been fulfilled!"

"Thank you."

The picture of the two people coming in side by side scared Elsa and the others.

As soon as the event was over, Cynthia rushed out of the room. She ran to the Astronomy Tower in one go, feeling the cold wind coming in front of her, and she slid down little by little against the wall.

She sat slumped in the corner, large tears falling from her eyes.

"Thea......" At some point, little Barty came to the top of the stairs.

"Barty? You, why are you here......" Cynthia stood up in a panic and wiped away her tears. She didn't want anyone to see her embarrassment.

"You like him, don't you?"

"What do you like, what do you dislike? It's not about you Barty. ”

"He doesn't deserve this."

"Don't you say it's not worth it? And I said it, it's not about you! If there's nothing else to do, I'll go first. Cynthia's tone grew cold, and she brushed little Barty towards the stairs.

Barty Jr. reached out and grabbed Cynthia's arm and pulled her into his arms. "No, it's about me! I like you, Thea, I want to be with you! ”

"You let go of me!" Cynthia writhed her body violently.

Little Barty squeezed the girl's shoulders so hard that she had to face herself. "Cynthia, I like you, that's why I proposed marriage to my father. Whether it's as a boyfriend or as a marriage partner, I'm sure I, Barty Crouch, are a good choice! ”

"If you let me go, I won't get married! I love Severus! I don't like you, you let me go! Not! ”

Barty lowered her head and kissed the little mouth that said no to him.

"Smack!" Cynthia used all her strength to break free from Barty's grip and slapped him hard. "I didn't expect you to be such a person!"

She turned and ran down the tower.

From that day on, Elsa and the others never saw a smile on Cynthia's face again. She began to be busy with the study of the magic circle, and after class, she either ran to the library or to the magic circle professor's office.

On Fridays she would practice spells with Severus with a blank face, and on weekends she would focus on Quidditch training.

She didn't look like much had changed except that she wasn't smiling anymore. But they still noticed the bewitching red in Cynthia's eyes.

Cynthia's discussion with the Magic Circle Professor grew more and more advanced, and she succeeded in increasing the increase in the Enhancement Array engraved on her wand from 10% to 20%. She had learned a lot of ancient formations, and she was crazy about absorbing all kinds of knowledge from books.

Until one day, she ran into Lily Evans on her way to the library.

Evans and her roommate walked together and laughed as they passed Cynthia. The content of their conversation also reached Cynthia's ears.

"Lily, I heard that after you were together, that Blake ran to the Astronomy Tower alone to cry!" Mary Deja spoke in a slightly mocking tone.

"Hey, Mary, don't say that."

"Wait." Cynthia stopped. She slowly stepped back and stood in front of the two of them.

"Long time no see, Miss Evans." She greeted Lily with a blank face.

"What are you going to do, Blake!" Mary raised her head and looked at Cynthia warily.

"What am I going to do? Haha, this is, um, Miss Daija, is it? I heard you just there, talking about me? Cynthia let out a sneer.

"Miss Black, we don't have any ill will, you don't have to." Lily frowned.

"I just wanted to ask, where did you hear about that?" Cynthia glanced at her.

"Where? A lot of people know you love Severus! It's a pity that Severus only likes us Lily, and people don't look down on you at all......" Mary Deja's words pierced Cynthia's heart.

"What did you say?!" Cynthia narrowed her eyes, and the red under her eyes seemed to be a little more pronounced.

"Ah, evil, evil what? Slytherin, or the Dark Wizard? Cynthia slowly pulled out her wand and tapped her palm on it.

"You, what are you going to do!" Mary Deja panicked, and she quickly took her wand in her hand.

Lily looked at the situation in front of her, "The hallway is Miss Black, who is not allowed to cast spells. ”

"So what, Evans? I'm evil anyway, so even if I do it, so what? Cynthia's emotions were starting to get a little out of control.

She pointed her wand at Mary and said "Furnunculus."

Mary's face began to grow blisters one after another, and she felt as if her face had been burned by fire, and she began to scream.

Cynthia turned to Lily Evans again, and she raised her hand: Serpensortia.

A black snake shot out of the tip of her staff and landed in front of Lily.

Lily, who deserved to be the first in the third grade, reacted quickly: "Protego!" "An invisible wall stood in front of the black serpent." What the hell are you going to do! She looked angrily at Cynthia, who had a nonchalant expression.

"It's nothing, it's just that some people have big mouths, teach me a lesson, that snake, just let me give you a gift!" Cynthia withdrew her wand, glanced at Mary, who was still screaming, and left.
