Chapter Eighty-Four: Destruction of Horcruxes

"Chamber of Secrets...... This possibility is not ruled out, Thea. Dumbledore nodded.

"But, Albus. First of all, we couldn't find the entrance to the secret room at all, and secondly, we found it, and we couldn't get in without the Parseltongue. Cynthia said frustratedly.

"But it's also possible that it's hidden somewhere else, but we haven't found it." Dumbledore comforted Cynthia.

β€œβ€¦β€¦ Where else could he hide? We haven't found it for so long, so it's definitely a good place to hide something...... Great place to hide stuff! I thought of it, Albus! Cynthia had a room in mind.

"The Room on the 8th floor! We might be able to look there! ”

"You mean that magical room?"

"Yes! When I was in school, I practiced drawing magic circles there, and it was a great place. I'm going to check it out now, do you want to be together? ”

"Then let's go check it out!"

Cynthia and Dumbledore went one after the other to the eighth floor of the castle, and Cynthia walked to the other side of the tapestry where the troll stick beat the stupid Barnabas, and wandered there, thinking to herself: I need a place to hide.

It wasn't until after the third pass that a very smooth door appeared on the wall. "This is it!" Cynthia excitedly looked at the door that suddenly appeared on the wall.

She pushed the door open and walked in with Dumbledore. The place was the size of a church, and the surrounding landscape looked like a city, with high walls made up of thousands of long-dead students.

"Let's find it, Albus." Cynthia looked at the clutter and looked back at Dumbledore with a surprised expression.

"Okay, but Thea, do you know what Ravenclaw's crown looks like?" Dumbledore smiled incomprehensibly.

"Uh...... Sorry Albus, I don't know. Cynthia was stunned.

"I guessed it, so watch it!" Dumbledore laughed and raised his wand and waved it. In a few moments, a jewel-encrusted, glittering crown appeared in the air, and the bottom of the crown was engraved with the famous Ravenclaw motto, "Superior wisdom is the greatest treasure of mankind." β€οΌˆβ€œWit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.β€œ οΌ‰

"Then let's start looking!" Cynthia looked at Dumbledore gratefully.

She passed by the troll specimens, looked at the passage between the garbage heaps, and didn't know where to go next...... "The crown is flying!" Cynthia tried the Flying Charm.

But the crown didn't fly out as she had imagined. She shook her head in disappointment, chose a path, and began to search.

She passed a hill of dilapidated tables and chairs, a pile of rusty crucibles, an old cabinet, and a lot of mess. But she never found any trace of the tiara.

"Albus! Did you find it? Cynthia looked up and shouted at the top of her voice.

"Nope!" All she heard was Dumbledore's negative answer.

Cynthia continued to walk on, and suddenly, she saw an old cabinet with a blistered surface, and on top of it was a bust of a witch covered with mold, with an old gray hair cover on his head, and something like an old faded crown.

Cynthia stepped forward excitedly and gently hugged the witch statue down. "Albus! I think I found it! She raised her hand, and a red light flew out of her wand.

After a while, Dumbledore followed the red light and found him. "Where?" There was excitement in his tone that couldn't be hidden.

Cynthia gestured to the old crown on the head of the witch statue. "I feel the breath of black magic from here."

Dumbledore carefully picked up the crown, and he blew off the thick layer of dust on it, revealing its original color. He closed his eyes, felt quietly for a moment, opened his eyes and said excitedly, "It's it!" It has the same atmosphere as the locket, the gold cup, and the diary! ”

"So, we've found the fourth Horcrux! Next we can go to the old Gaunt house, there should be another one there! Cynthia smiled.

"Let's go back to the office first!" Dumbledore pulled out a handkerchief and wrapped the tiara.

Back in his office, Dumbledore placed the tiara, along with the other three Horcruxes.

"We'd better destroy them as soon as possible, Albus." Cynthia looked at the four Horcruxes on the table. "With the level of the two of us, the fire spell can be completely controlled very well."

"Then today, let's destroy them!" Dumbledore nodded. "Two for one person, so the consumption is a little smaller."

Cynthia picked up the locket and the cup, tossed them up, and waved her wand to unleash a fiery fire.

Flames erupted from the tip of Cynthia's wand, enveloping the two Horcruxes. A scream of extreme pain came from the flames.

Cynthia saw something as bloody, dark and thick as it seeped out of the locket and the golden cup, and then evaporated instantly from the fire.

As the screams died down, Cynthia withdrew her wand. The charred gold cups and lockets fell to the carpet as the flames vanished.

Cynthia's face turned slightly pale, and she wiped away a few drops of sweat from her forehead and picked up the gold coins and locket.

By this time, Dumbledore had also destroyed the diary and crown.

"Let's go to the old Gaunt house another day, we won't be able to do it today." Cynthia panted and said that the consumption of the fire spell just now was still a bit too big for her.

"You go back and rest first, and when you go, I'll let you know in advance." Dumbledore placed the four charred Horcruxes in a small wooden box and locked them.

Back in the office, Cynthia went straight into the bedroom, where she lay on the bed and fell asleep in a few moments.

When she woke up again, it was late at night. She touched her flat belly and decided to go to the kitchen to find something to eat.

As she walked through the dark hallway with her wand in hand, a voice suddenly rang out. "Who is it?" The man strode toward Cynthia.

"Good evening, Professor Snape!" Cynthia looked at the man who walked in and waved awkwardly.

"Sheen, Professor Black? What are you doing here at such a late hour? Severus looked at Cynthia, who looked at her with a blank face.

β€œβ€¦β€¦ I, I'm hungry...... I'm going to go to the kitchen to find something to eat. Cynthia said softly with a blushing face.

"Uh...... I...... I'll take you there...... No, I mean...... I'm a little hungry too, let's go along......" Severus stammered.

"Let's be together, then!" Cynthia nodded, tugged at the man's sleeve, and headed towards the basement.

Severus watched as Cynthia tugged at his little hand on his sleeve and followed her blankly.

Once in the kitchen, Severus asks for an apple pie, which he wants to give to Cynthia in half, but she refuses.

"I'm sorry, Professor Snape. I don't like apple pie, I prefer mango pie. Cynthia looked at Severus apologetically and whispered.

"Uh, it's okay......" Severus couldn't help but think of going to school, when Cynthia told him that she loved the apple pie he gave her. And now...... But it's different.
