Chapter 10: Potions Lesson
Cynthia returned to her seat with a cold face.
"What's wrong, Thea?" Lucius said as he looked at her cold little face.
"That Lily Evans is too much! She says I'm the evil Slytherin Dark Wizard! Ignore my greetings, and next time, she'll be dead! Cynthia said through gritted teeth.
Hearing this, Lucius, Regulus, and the rest of the Slytherin students frowned.
"How dare she be a mudblood!" The heir to the Crouch family let out a low roar.
"Forget it, for Severus's sake, I won't pursue it with her this time, and next time, I'll let her see what evil is!" Cynthia waved her hand.
After lunch, Cynthia returned to her bedroom. As soon as she pushed the door open, Elsa rushed over and hugged her, "Cynthia, thank you!" I just tried it again using the method you taught me, and sure enough, it worked! ”
"Hehe, we're good sisters!" Cynthia patted the girl on the shoulder. "I'm so sleepy, I'm going to get some rest, it's Potions class in the afternoon!" After saying that, he covered his mouth and yawned, and climbed into his bed. "Good afternoon, Elsa! Remember to wake me up! ”
"No problem! Good afternoon, Cynthia! ”
In the afternoon, Cynthia and her party arrived in the Potions classroom at the other end of the cellar. Teaching potions was taught by the Head of Slytherin, Horace Slughorn.
He walked to the blackboard with his big belly and wrote down the recipe for the Boil cure potion.
Dried nettles, crushed snake fangs, steamed slugs with tentacles, porcupine spines.
I saw him get straight to the point: "In this lesson, we learned to boil a very simple, scabies potion. Dried nettles, snake fangs, slugs, and porcupine spines are required. ”
"Be sure to remove the cauldron from the fire when putting porcupine spines! Now, in teams of two, send one person to pick up the materials and start making your scabies potion! He waved his hand.
Regulus and Cynthia form a team, and after retrieving the materials, Regulus is responsible for handling the materials and Cynthia is responsible for boiling. The two of them have a good heart, cooperate very tacitly, and progress is very rapid.
"Hmm! Miss Black and Mr. Black's potion is almost successful! Nice speed, looks like you've definitely done some practice at home! Professor Slughorn was surprised to see their crucible.
"Yes, Professor, my brother and I have tried to make some simple potions at home." Cynthia replied unhurriedly.
"One last step, put in the porcupine thorns!" With that, Cynthia removed the cauldron from the fire and put in the last ingredient - porcupine thorns. As the porcupine thorns were placed, the potion in the cauldron slowly turned a pleasant blue.
"Oh! Very good, the color is very standard, Slytherin, plus ten points! Professor Slughorn happily patted the siblings on the shoulder.
Cynthia divided the scabies potion into two prepared glass bottles, labeled them with her and her brother's names, and handed them to Professor Slughorn.
She was relieved to see that Professor Slughorn gave them an "O" to no one.
The professor motioned for them to leave, and Cynthia and Regulus walked out of the classroom.
"It's good that I've done exercises at home, otherwise I'd be nervous!" Cynthia patted her chest and said.
"Come on, are you still nervous? Who to fool! Regulus rolled his eyes.
"Humph! Too lazy to bother with you! Well, it's still early, let's go to the courtyard for a walk! Cynthia looked at the time.
"Okay, let's go!"
