"Plotting the Galaxy" was completed today, from April 3, 2019 to June 4, 2020, a full year and two months, with a total of more than 2.3 million words.

If you add the previous conception, preparation and storage, the creation time of the whole book is close to a year and a half, which is really not easy to say.

This book is Straw's second book, and compared with the previous "Top Secret", this book has made great strides in terms of story, completeness, word count, character characterization, and the ability to control when writing.

Today, I would like to summarize with you a few more satisfactory episodes and progress:

First, Princess Qixia was forced to marry, and Xu Rui attacked the grassland in anger.

This is the first time that Straw has written a relatively satisfactory emotional drama, and at that time it received positive feedback and encouragement from many book friends, which made Straw overjoyed, and also found some experience in emotional drama, and will continue to try hard in the future to overcome the shortcomings of emotional drama, and strive to write a more vivid and touching plot.

The second is the climax of the book, "Six Sons Seize the Inheritance".

The play of "Six Sons Seizing the Heirs" is written as a reversal, wanting to show the corrosion and change of power and desire on human nature, giving book friends an unexpected and reasonable feeling.

In general, the content I want to express is basically presented, but unfortunately it is not perfect.

When writing this scene, it happened that Straw was busy with work, and there was no manuscript, and many details were not developed to write, or not handled well enough, so that the plot did not reach the refinement of Straw's ideal, leaving a little regret.

Third, in terms of character portrayal, "Plotting" has made great progress compared with "Top Secret".

Yang Weiyuan, Liu Yi, Emperor Hongwei and King Wuling are all characters that Straw likes very much, although there are still many shortcomings, but they are already flesh and blood in the plot, detached from the sense of symbols, and do not make people feel false and disgusting, which is the biggest achievement of Straw in this book.

Of course, there is still a gap, especially from the excellent characters portrayed by those top gods, Straw still has a long way to go, which is also the direction of Straw's efforts in the future.

In fact, whether it is Princess Qixia's forced marriage, or the last six sons to seize the heir, all the plots have been thought of when this book is conceived, and it is a great joy for straw to be able to open this story little by little and present it to book friends in its entirety.

On the occasion of the completion of the book, Straw would like to thank those book friends who have insisted on seeing the end, it is you who have given Straw the opportunity to tell the story, and you have followed Straw to read this imperfect story together.

I sincerely hope that in the future, book friends can support Straw to write more and better stories and share them with all book friends.

After talking about progress, let's talk about a little regret.

Because of the bad grades, Straw had to completely delete the content of the three volumes that was originally written in the outline, in fact, I still feel a pity when I think about it, so I just give a general explanation here.

The three volumes that were deleted were:

First, the princes of one side.

This volume inherits Xu Rui's return from the northwest, marries Princess Qixia, and then sends him to the southeast to be the governor of the six provinces.

This volume originally arranged a major corruption case, Xu Rui peeled off the cocoon from a series of murderous cases, and finally smashed the conspiracy of the Liao King and the dark chess to bring down Xu Rui.

Xu Rui broke with the King of Liao and supported King Yu to seize the throne, and at the same time discovered many secrets of dark chess.

Because this volume was deleted, the necessary plots such as Xu Rui's break with the King of Liao, as well as the discovery of the secret of dark chess, were all classified into the volume of the six sons to seize the heir, which became a little abrupt, and the emotional drama between Xu Rui and Cao Wanxi was originally arranged in this volume, but it was also gone in the end.

There are also Xu Rui's two apprentices, Li Donglin and Wan Long originally played a lot in this volume, and they were the main supporting roles in the second half of the book, because the relationship between this volume was deleted, and it was not described at all.

Second, divide one side.

This volume was originally to undertake the six sons to seize the heir, the three emperors of Liao, Yu and Han competed for the world, Xu Rui took the opportunity to claim the king in the northwest, established a modern country, destroyed the Western Liang, and killed another martial saint Nine Spirit Spear Saint.

Xu Rui's two apprentices, Li Donglin and Wan Long, rose to prominence in the army and became mainstays.

Due to the deletion of one of the princes, this volume has no basis for existence, so it was simply deleted, and it was a pity that the classic battle of the Western Liang to destroy the country was missing.

Third, heaven and earth are chess.

Originally, this volume was the last volume of the book, taking over the secession of one side, Xu Rui destroyed the Western Liang, unified the entire northwest, the army was strong, and King Yu also eliminated the King of Liao and the King of Han with the help of dark chess, unified half of the Great Wei, and then launched an attack on Xu Rui.

Xu Rui's disciple Wan Long was rebelled by Huang Zhengyuan, and together with Long Yun, who had been imitating Xu Rui, he fought a decisive battle with the Northwest Army, which also included a naval battle plot based on the Battle of Jutland.

Xu Rui finally defeated the enemy army, but he fought a big battle with King Wuling's northbound men and horses, using heaven and earth as chess and performing a good show.

This volume was supposed to be the climax of the whole book, but because the first two volumes were deleted, this volume has no basis for existence, so it can only be deleted, and the necessary plot is directly merged into the volume of the six sons to complete the final ending.

It's a pity to delete the three volumes, but it's also because of the bad grades, take the initiative to reduce the length, this is a compromise that has no way, and I hope you will forgive me, and write some of the content here, which can be regarded as making up for some regrets.

All in all, although the book "Conspiracy" is not a classic, the straw has exhausted its strength, there are gains and regrets, and it has accumulated sufficient experience for the following works.

Compared with the beginning of writing, with the training of more than 3 million words in "Top Secret" and "Conspiracy", Straw's combing of the story, the portrayal of the characters, the grasp of the rhythm and the exploration of the audience's taste have improved a lot.

I believe that the future works will definitely make book lovers refreshed and addicted.

At present, Straw has begun to prepare for a new book, and the new book has two directions for the time being, one is science fiction suspense, and the other is Xianxia suspense, both directions will be fast-paced and suspenseful as selling points, and the plot at the beginning has already had an idea, but it has not yet been finalized which direction to use.

It takes a few months to prepare a new book, mainly because you need to write a bright beginning, and then save enough manuscripts to avoid interruptions when you are busy with work.
