Therefore, Huang Lao Taoism proceeded from his own standpoint and constituted a doctrine that conformed to his own characteristics in the concept of retribution for good and evil. This doctrine is the doctrine of Heavenly Dao Inheritance. That is, I believe that there is a cycle in the way of heaven, and there is a burden for good and evil. Its core body still revolves around the issue of life and death, inheriting the doctrinal idea of "Tao sets life to reward good, and death sets up evil to deter evil" in "Lao Tzu's Notes". ”

The movement of objects is to have an impact, and the process of exchanging matter, energy and information between people and the outside world is called bearing, energy conservation, and energy conversion. The present is a summary of the past, and the future is a projection of the present. This is the fact that the source of things and the later things are responsible for the phenomena that arise, and the matter is man-made. How much influence the world can be depends on the energy. Throwing stones into the water, the bigger the stones, the bigger the waves, the wider the impact, the longer the time, but eventually return to calm. ”
Xuan Chu said: "Hehe, where does the "bearing" of Huang Lao's Taoism come from? ”
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "From the "Taiping Sutra", it means that the ancestors accumulate virtue and do good, and they can shade their descendants; If the ancestors have repeatedly committed evil, the descendants will be innocently afflicted. That is, people often say, "the predecessors planted trees, and the descendants enjoyed the shade; The former caused trouble, and the future suffered". It is characterized by the inheritance of the predecessors and the younger generations. However, there are two interpretations of the discussion of "bearing burdens" in the Taiping Sutra. One of them is, "The inheritor is the first, and the loser is the last." The inheritor is to say that the ancestors inherited the heart of heaven and walked, small mistakes, do not know it, accumulate over time, gather a lot, and give birth to people in the future, anti-innocent and suffer from its faults, and even pass on to be disasters. The loser is the one who loses to the one who comes after him." The second is that "the symbiosis of the three unifications, the long-term cultivation of all things is called wealth, the symbiosis of wealth, the symbiosis of wealth, the symbiosis of wealth, the symbiosis of evil, the symbiosis of evil, the symbiosis of evil, and the symbiosis of cunning, and more than that, it is not the same, and it cannot be reinstated. It means that heaven, earth and man coexist, and they will nourish their property for a long time, and if they want more, they will be evil, so that they cannot be recalled, until the wealth is exhausted, and they will return to the source of nothingness. One is to say that good and evil bear the burden, and the other is to say that the cycle of heaven and earth. ”
Zhong Liquan said with a smile: "Bearing" is better than cause and effect although it is not "cause and effect". It means that the predecessors did good, and the present people are blessed; If people do evil in the present, woe will be to the generations to come. Because of the "burden," there are people in this world who have always done good deeds, but they often receive misfortune. There are those who have been doing evil, but they have always been blessed. Huang Lao Taoism believes that this is due to the "burden" that people suffer. That is, if he does evil, his descendants will be brought to his descendants. If I do good, my children will be blessed. In the same way, my fate is to bear the consequences for my ancestors, and if my ancestors do evil, I will be in trouble; If the ancestors do good, they themselves will be blessed. It's like the grandparents accumulate wealth, the younger generations enjoy it, the grandparents owe debts, and the younger generations repay the money. The so-called "house of goodness, there must be afterglow; If you don't accumulate goodness, there will be remnants", is this theory. The theory of cause and effect in Buddhism and Brahmanism has great limitations, because cause and effect is about individuals, but if a person lives in a social group, then just like a fish cannot leave water, everyone's every move can form "ripples" that affect the surrounding environment and others. Therefore, the theory of bearing responsibility is more complete and humane than the theory of cause and effect, and it is more responsible. In today's society, many cold acts are because of the long-term concept of karma and retribution, although this concept of self-sweeping has a certain role in regulating itself, but it is very unfavorable to the stability of social groups and the benign development of the general environment. The concept of "bearing the burden" can completely link the interaction between the individual and the society, and the constraints between oneself and others, which should be that the consequences of committing evil deeds are not only oneself but will endanger future generations, so that there will be a lot less erroneous thinking of "one hundred", and the improvement of the relationship between people will make great progress, so in today's social problems, "bearing" is a more effective ideological cognition of strengthening and improving the moral situation. ”
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Huang Lao Taoist is happy to live and die, advocates transcending the limits of life, and pursues "eternal life, eternal life", and it is best to become a living immortal living in the world. The Taiping Jing is the earliest Huanglao Taoist classic that systematically expounds the idea of bearing the burden. There are two interpretations of the "Taiping Sutra" for the bearing theory: first, the burden of the world, the blessings and misfortunes of the present people are attributed to the good and evil of the ancestors, the ancestors accumulate virtue and do good, and the descendants are descendants, the ancestors are at fault or do many evils, and the evil consequences are for future generations. Second, if the burden of nature and society follows the "road", nature and society will prosper and develop; If we go against the "Tao", nature and society will decay and wither. The core content of its "bearing the burden" theory is to put heaven, earth, and humanity in the development of the circular logic of "the inheritor is the first, and the loser is the last", and use heaven and earth to demonstrate humanity. It shows that the cause of natural disasters and earth disasters lies in the violation of the way of nature and the humane burden. The social dongluan, the change of dynasty, is also man-made. Any natural and social phenomenon is implicit in the principle of "the predecessors planted trees, and the descendants enjoyed the shade; The predecessors caused trouble, and the descendants suffered". ”
He also said, "You and I are both members of this long relay race. Run your own stick, inherit the genes, wisdom and other advantages accumulated by the ancestors, be worthy of the ancestors, bear the living environment of future generations, accumulate more advantages for future generations through their own efforts, and be worthy of the future generations who have come. ”
