Chapter 576: Bu Gang

Nian Fu said: "I'm still confused, you can describe it to me in one sentence, what is Bu Xu?" ”

Xiao Tianshu said: "Bu Xuan is actually Bu Gang ......"

Nian Fu said: "I'll go, Bugang?" There is actually a ...... called Buxu"

Xiao Tianshu said with a smile: "I told you about Bu Xuan just now, but it is actually Bu Gang

, Bugang is also known as "Bugang Ji", "Bugang", "The Way of Flying Steps". It generally refers to Bugang, and sometimes refers to a kind of Gangfa method. Bu Gang is also written as "step outline". In the Daomen, Dougang is often understood as the outline of heaven and the discipline of the earth. Budougang originally wanted to perform the nine stars (the seven stars of the Big Dipper and the two stars of the auxiliary bi), "the husband of the nine stars, the spiritual root of the nine heavens, the bright beam of the sun and the moon, and the abyss of all products," the heavens, the earth, people, yin and yang, the five mountains and the four seas are all based on the nine stars, "the five nine columns, the outline is infinite, the control of the heavens, the three chens, and the conditioning of four or five." (The Seven Signatures of the Clouds, Vol. 20).

Nian Fu smiled: "Now people love to follow the trend, a lot of nouns change when they feel very popular, all love to learn Buddhism, I have one in WeChat, today sent me a message to learn Buddhism, as if she is a saint, guess what?" One day she said that she even hated her husband and didn't know what to do, I thought to myself that even my own family couldn't accept this Buddhism to this extent, is this a true saint or a false saint? If you can't even do it with your family, what kind of Buddhism can you study? ”

Xiao Tianshu said: "Many things have become trends, and they have lost their original faces. Nowadays, learning Taoism and Buddhism seems to have become a trend overnight, rampant in this land. ”

Nian Fu said: "I think it should be a good thing that learning Taoism and Buddhism has become very trendy, and there are Taoism in Taoism: "This Tao is established to educate people", and in Buddhism: "Buddhism is boundless, and all living beings are universal". These words are the hope of the holy sages that all the people in the world will be enlightened, so that they can get rid of suffering and be happy as soon as possible. However, learning Taoism and Buddhism has become a trend today, why do people in the world not see happiness without suffering, but instead indulge more and more wantonly and sink into the sea of suffering? ”

Xiao Tianshu said: "Actually, everyone should understand that, as I said above, when it becomes a trend, it loses its essence, and most people don't understand what cultivation is. Just blindly following. I don't know what faith and practice are, I just know how to recite a few verses of scriptures and do a few good deeds, so I think I can get good fortune, and there are even those obsessed people who sit at home all day long and think that they can get positive results by bowing and burning incense every day! Don't you know that good deeds are not good, and how is merit? If you don't have merit, how can you become enlightened? Sanfeng Zhenren Tiankou has a cloud: "Metaphysics takes merit as the body, Jindan as the use, and then you can become an immortal" The so-called first step of practice becomes to know your own roots, is a good way or a Buddha, only if you choose a religion that suits you, you can only enter the right path, the Tao has three thousand, the Buddha has ten thousand laws, you can always choose a suitable path for yourself to practice, if you only know blindly follow the trend, I am afraid that you will not be able to get the right path in your life!

Nian Fu said: "Practitioners need to have several basic qualities, the first is to understand the way to distinguish between good and evil, the so-called teaching has no three teachings, only good and evil!" If there is no distinction between good and evil, in the end there can only be a lower one, and then it is to choose the path, whether it is the Tao or the Buddha, it is good to enter the door. The first point after the introduction is not to chant and meditate, but to have a firm heart, so that the world can know that the scriptures are easy to read, and the practice can be cultivated. After that, we must study the essence of the scriptures every day, and I personally recommend that we start with the historical sources of religion (Tao or Buddha), the teachings, the characters, the rise and fall of the history, and so on. In this way, we have an overall understanding of religion, and the so-called world affairs are all knowledge, and human feelings are articles. ”

Xiao Tianshu said: "The significance of learning these things is that you can open your horizons, the higher you stand, the farther you will see, and you must have a broad heart in your practice, if you limit your horizons to one point, it will be very difficult to attain the Tao!" And then there is a "dare", what is "dare"? Each of us must have a lot of shortcomings, and we will inevitably do a lot of wrong things in our daily life, which are inevitable, but whether we dare to face and admit our mistakes and shortcomings is very important. I appreciate many things in Confucianism, such as: My day, three provinces, my body, and so on! There is no absolutely perfect thing, the human body is all sinful and inferior, the important thing is whether we can clearly understand that we dare to break these things, just like Buddhism: "Lift the sword of wisdom, break the thief of troubles". It is true that there is a cloud in the Dan Sutra: cultivating life without cultivating nature, this is the first disease of cultivation, which points out the importance of cultivating the mind. However, all things are born in yin and yang, and yin and yang are involved in each other to balance all things. It is very important for people who practice to treat their lives equally, if they are not sick, they will be in good spirits, and if they are free of disease, they will be free of diseases, and the two are complementary to each other, for those who only emphasize the cultivation of the mind, or only emphasize the cultivation of **, they are not the best choice, even if they are the first master Confucius, they are also more proficient in the way of riding and archery! ”

Nian Fu said: "So the elements of the practitioner are to have, the above is only before the entry should be prepared, for the practice or the study of Taoism and Buddhism, in my personal opinion, first of all, to be able to establish virtue is the most important, in the first few years to be able to seriously practice some of the Confucian practice of the gentleman, is very conducive to the future practice, like a tree, the first to correct in order to better grow, with Confucian ideas to lay the foundation, is the best!" I don't think it is necessary to talk about how a practitioner practices the exercises on the **, and individuals have personal opportunities that cannot be generalized! ”

Xiao Tianshu said: "Then for those who have just cultivated, I think it is imperative to cultivate a mentality, that is, there must be a mentality of three teachings and one family. Chongyang Patriarch once said: "Confucianism and Taoism are interconnected, and the three religions have always been an ancestral style", the root of religion, the foundation of religion, is to guide the world to good, but the means have their own merits, we can not because of their own beliefs, and to attack other religions, in fact, the learner of the Tao knows that all things are born, and the student of Buddhism knows that all beings are equal, if they can do it, I don't have to talk about this sentence more! Secondly, the small hidden in the mountains and forests, the big hidden in the court, don't think that if you practice, you will be a few levels higher than the worldly people, but the people who practice will be more bitter than the worldly people, I think you fellow practitioners should feel this! Practitioners need to keep the precepts, be careful to avoid all kinds of karma, and also benefit sentient beings, so it can be said that practitioners are a hundred times more bitter than laymen! Because practitioners have to carry too many things at the beginning (and we will not talk about detachment in the future), I would like to say that the perception that cultivation means running to the deep mountains and old forests is very wrong. ”
