There is little good fortune in seeking fame and fortune in that way, but is it still a test of the determination of the moment?

If everyone's decisions at the moment are all good fortunes in the future, there will be no difference between this accumulation of yin virtue and yang virtue, and it will be meaningless, let alone have the effect of testing people!

But in Xuan Chu's opinion, no matter what he deserves or both, as long as he has this kind of heart, it is still better, so if you don't let people seek fame and fortune, maybe people don't even want to do it, will this turn some people away?

Xuan Chu said: "Master, in the absence of Yin Virtue, can the Yang Virtue be good? Can it also have good results? ”

Lu Dongbin smiled: "Each has its own benefits, so do you cultivate this life or the next ......life?"

Chu said, "Oh? What is the difference between this life and this life? ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Yin virtue is rewarded by heaven, and Yang is good and enjoys world fame." The name is also blessed. The famous man is taboo in creation. Those who enjoy the fame of the world but are not worthy of it have many miraculous disasters. People who are not guilty and are notorious, their descendants often occur suddenly, and the yin and yang are slight. Yin virtue is to do good deeds without being known by people, and God will bless them; And Yang Shan is to do good deeds to let people know, and to be praised by the masses and enjoy a good reputation. Each has its own benefits, so whether you enjoy fame in this life or increase your cultivation in the next life, which is more important, it depends on how you choose. ”

Some people will say that it is not a good thing that Yang Shan enjoys fame, gets applause, respect, praise, flowers, news in the media, and flashing lights gather on him?

Xuan Chu said: "This "fame" is indeed a kind of blessing, but this "fame" is something that God hopes everyone can quit. Why? ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Because "fame" is also a way to consume good fortune, do good deeds, promote merit, show off yourself, merit is often lost, as if the money is spent and the money is gone, you enjoy the blessing of this "fame", which is equivalent to consuming part of the good fortune. ”

Xuan Chu was shocked: "Ah! Isn't this the blessing of this life as soon as the merit and demerits are canceled out, but there will not be much happiness in the next life? ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "The child can be taught, and this is exactly what it means......"

Xuan Chu said: "So Yang Shan just gets a form, you don't use this blessing, and God doesn't like this "name", why don't you like it?" "Those who enjoy the fame of the world but are not worthy of it, there are many miracles"! ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Well, the world is famous, but most of the exaggerated words will have strange disasters." If we look closely at today's society, we will find a lot of modern newspapers. A well-known person, if he does not have real virtue, often encounters unexpected disasters.

If fame exceeds actual merit, there will be a miracle of disaster, why? Because I don't think right! It's all about "seeking fame". After working hard for a long time, I hope others will publicize it. That's how doing good and doing evil comes about. ”

Xuan Chu said: "Then let's check it ourselves, do good and seek fame, the heart of our fame, do we want to get the name that is "appropriate", or the name that is "overfamous"? ”

Lu Dongbin said: "People who are not guilty and are notorious, their descendants often occur suddenly, and the yin and yang are slight. On the contrary, a person who is innocent, scolded by others, wronged by others, and seems to be wronged, does not know that all the sins and obstacles he has suffered since the beginningless eons have been avenged, and his descendants are often very developed. The official account heir to the Han Heavenly Master's Mansion, the great statesman Sima Guang of the Song Dynasty said it more thoroughly: "The accumulation fund is left to the descendants, and the descendants may not be able to keep it." It is better to accumulate yin virtue in the underworld, thinking that it is a long-term plan for children and grandchildren. So, the yin and yang moments are very subtle. "On the occasion of yin and yang" is about the principle of circulation, "blessings and misfortunes lurk, and misfortunes and blessings rely on", prosperity must be decline, and showing the extreme is a disaster".

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Yin virtue, that is, Shangde; Yangde, that is, lower virtue. People who are virtuous, words and deeds are consistent in front of and behind people, do not deceive the dark room, are worthy of the house leakage, and can be "cautious". People who are virtuous are good and utilitarian, calculating, and never forgetting, which is a small kindness. As for those who do good deeds with false intentions and do superficial things, that is hypocrisy, so the "Tao Te Ching" says: "Everyone knows that what is good is good, and what is not good is good." ”

Xuan Chu said with a smile: "Hehe, no wonder many sages and ancestors told us that the accumulation of yin virtue and good fruit will always be yours, and others can't steal or snatch it." ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "You have accumulated yin virtue for a long time, and you have accumulated a lot, and the blessings in the future are also great, and you will even bless your children and grandchildren." So when we do some good deeds, it's better not to publicize ourselves, and deliberately let others know that the truth is here. Yin virtue is not a good deed done for oneself, so the blessing is great. Others know that virtue is not as good as virtue and can be retained and retained. If you don't cultivate your mind and practice enough, or if you create some small evils, you will get retribution as you practice, and then the good results will be gone. Therefore, only by accumulating more yin virtue can virtue be accumulated and retained. As the saying goes: "When a person does good deeds and a person does a good deed, the conscience of heaven and earth will be blessed." The so-called good deeds and good deeds refer to the accumulation of virtue. The more virtue a person accumulates, the greater the blessing. ”

Xuan Chu said: "Hehe, I don't know anyway, but there are many rich people in history now, and when money is gathered to a certain extent, they will give back to the society......"

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "That's because they already know that God will not let a person who doesn't know how to give back to nature keep accumulating wealth!" ”

To cultivate goodness and accumulate virtue is to create opportunities for oneself to be blessed with good causes and good karma, and to obtain blessings and eliminate sins; Misfortune and evil are the causes of evil and suffering for oneself and samsara. The ancient adage goes: "It is better to establish a name for glory than to cultivate hidden virtue." "To create a good honor and a high status, it is better to cultivate yin virtue. So in many cases, to change your fate, it depends on how you accumulate yin virtue. ”
