Chapter 801: Meridian Break

The fairy in red said, "What benefits?" Is there any other benefit besides meditation? ”

Xuan Chu said: "There are three hundred and sixty-five xue in the human body, which corresponds to one revolution of the earth and the sun. The rotation of the earth around the sun is 365 days, and the number of easy numbers is nine as the maximum, so each acupuncture point of the human body should be filled with nine breaths of true qi. There are twelve hours in a day, six quarters of an hour, and twenty minutes in every quarter of an hour, that is, one every twenty minutes.

When a person is meditating, the six roots are quiet, and when the mind is neither scattered nor drowsy, every quarter of an hour can melt a breath of true qi. When the true qi is reborn, when it goes up from the Du pulse to the mouth and then descends to the mouth, it will turn into a mouthful of clear and sweet jade liquid (saliva), and swallowing this jade is better than taking a ginseng, nourishing the four major five elements of the body, five internal organs and six internal organs, and promoting the hundred veins and thousands of meridians.

Therefore, when a person meditates, his heart cannot be moved, and when his heart moves, he will be pneumatic, and if he is pneumatic, his true qi will be scattered, and he will not be able to ascend and turn into jade liquid. When the heart is drowsy, the true qi and vitality cannot be dissolved. So, if you don't know if you have delusions when you meditate, more or less, you can see how much true qi and vitality you have transformed. ”

The fairy in red said, "It turns out that meditation has so many benefits? ”

Xuan Chu said: "If there is a lot of jade liquid in metamorphosis, it means that your one is effective, if there is no jade liquid, it means that you are either scattered or drowsy, sitting in vain, and the four major and five elements have not turned at all, just practicing your legs and resting." Like a man's mind is scattered for a day, and his mouth is dry that day. When a person sleeps for a day, his mouth is also dry. Only when the mind is neither scattered nor drowsy can the true qi and vitality be reborn. At the beginning of meditation, before entering the true concentration, if the mind is not scattered and not drowsy, it can be filled in a quarter of an hour. The meditation is full of liquid and has a clear and sweet feeling, which means that it is effective.

The young man in white smiled: "What should I do at this time?" ”

Ji Chu said: "At this time, the law of swallowing should be used to swallow the fluid into the abdomen. That is, the top of the tongue and the palate do not move, suck the fluid to the base of the tongue, and swallow it when you want to squirt. In this way, you can directly enter the pulse, the magic method of fitness.

Pay attention to the natural upright upper body, do not lean forward and backward, and form a vertical line between the Baihui acupoint and the Hui Y acupoint, but be sure to relax and be natural. It is necessary to know that if you are loose, the qi will be smooth, and the meridians will be smooth; Stiffness will lead to stagnation of qi and obstruction of qi and blood circulation.

The young man in white and the fairy in red, well, I have heard of this kind of modern analysis method there, and I haven't even heard of such a thing as minutes, as soon as I heard what Yi Chu said about such a godly chatter, he was naturally willing to bow down, and immediately bowed his hand and said: "Your Highness Zichen, sure enough, the gods and men are also, I will wait for the wind to bow down, and I hope to give ......advice."

Xuan Chu smiled: "Hehe, I didn't say anything, do you need to make such a big gift?" Hehe, I'm all up to it! ”

The young man in white said with a smile: "Bowing your head and complaining is a "hand gift" ......"

Xuan Chu said, "Only a true Taoist priest would perform such a great gift......

The fairy in red said, "However, it is not only Taoists who use the bow salute; Usually the ancients would perform this salute to show respect for the other party; On the other hand, it also shows its own strong national pride. ”

Chu said: "But" When is the origin of ancient Chinese gifts? ”

The white-clothed young man said with a smile: "The hand ceremony, also known as the fist ceremony, is a traditional meeting ceremony for the Chinese, and its history is very long. "The Analects of Weizi" once contained "The sub-road arches and stands. "What Zilu did to Confucius here is the bow ceremony, and the official title of the bow ceremony should be called the bow ceremony. It is said that most of the etiquette in ancient China originated from the "Zhou Rite" created by Zhou Gong in the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, and in the "Rites", it is stipulated that this part of the communication etiquette between scholars is called the meeting ceremony, and the exchange ceremony is one of the meeting rites. ”

Chu Chu said: "What kind of occasion is this bow gift suitable for?" ”

The young man in white said with a smile: "It is suitable for all occasions: meeting and dating, saying goodbye to both parties, greeting and greeting, congratulating and congratulating, etc." That is, humanistic, respectful, elegant and hygienic. ”

Xuan Chu said: "But I saw that the posture of the two of you just bowed was different, but it seems that they both bowed, how can this be explained?" Are there two different gestures? ”

The young man in white said with a smile: "There are basic hand shapes such as holding hands and holding fists. Hand in hand. Holding is the basic hand shape of the bowing hand. Interpretation of "Etymology": "Holding hands, still arching hands, expressing admiration." This means that the gesture of holding hands should be with both hands arched. The basic movement is to fold the hands in front of the x, and the hands are like arches, standing without leaning. Clench your fists.

Therefore, the etiquette of Taoism is basically developed on the basis of ancient Chinese etiquette combined with Taoist concepts, so this article does not comprehensively develop ancient etiquette and Taoist etiquette, but only briefly elaborates on the Taoist "hand ceremony" (because this is the most commonly used ritual for Taoist believers). ”

Chu said: "What is the situation of the fist salute? ”

The young man in white said with a smile: "Taoist theory comes from the understanding of yin and yang," Yin and Yang are famous but invisible. ”

Yin and Yang is an abstraction of the ancients about the two opposite and mutually reinforcing properties of all things in the universe, and it is also a philosophical category of the unity of opposites and the laws of thinking in the universe. Chinese sages and philosophers came up with the word "yin and yang" to represent the unity of opposites and opposites of all things, that is, the so-called "all things negative yin and embrace yang" in "Lao Tzu", and "Lingshu Yin and Yang System Sun and Moon" "one yin and one yang is the Tao." "Yi Chuan Zhi Ci" refers to "truth" and "law", "Yin and Yang, the way of heaven and earth, the outline of all things, the parents of change, the origin of life and death, and the house of the gods." ”

Xuan Chu smiled: "Hehe, I know this, the Tao gives birth to one, life to two, two to three, and three to all things." All things are negative yin and embrace yang, and they are impulsive and peaceful. The "two" here are yin and yang, which are the positive and negative aspects of the world, such as: day and night, summer and winter, man and woman, yang and yin, mountains and rivers, and so on. ”

The white-clothed young man smiled: "Does His Highness Zichen know the twelve earthly branches? ”

Chu said: "The twelve earthly branches: Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai. Among them, Zi, Yin, Chen, Wu, Shen, and Xu are the yang branches, and Chou, Mao, Si, Wei, You, and Hai are the yin branches. ”

The young man in white smiled and said, "Hehe's very good, so according to Taoism, the five elements of yin and yang each have their own place on the finger." "Meridian" is a symbol of yin and yang in Taoist concepts, and the intersection of the meridian represents the exchange of yin and yang, and also represents the balance in Tai Chi. The base of the ring finger is the "sub" part of the 12 earthly branches, and the fingertip of the middle finger is the "noon" part of the 12 earthly branches. When the Taoist salutes, the thumbs of the left and right hands are respectively placed on the "sub" and "meridian" parts of the left and right hands, so it is called the "meridian formula". ”

Xuan Chu suddenly realized: "Oh, so that's the case, the hand gift has something to do with the meridian formula......

The young man in white smiled and said, "There are currently two kinds of Taoist fist salutes......

Xuan Chu said: "That's right, just now I thought that the two of you were not in the same way......
