Abbreviated as students, students who have not formally visited the master, as long as they pay a certain amount of tuition, they can study with the master, of course, there are some cases where the master does not charge for special circumstances. A disciple of the Tao cannot say to the outside world that the person who teaches him is his master, but can only be said to be a teacher. The Master only has the obligation to "teach" the disciples who are learning the Tao, and has no other obligations and responsibilities. ”
Xuan Chu said, "What is the situation of the beginner disciple? ”
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Introductory disciple, introductory disciple, if you interpret it literally, in the past, the residence had a courtyard and an inner room, and the "introductory disciple" entered the gate of the compound and became a member (disciple) of this sect, but it was not possible to enter the "inner room" casually. Beginner disciples are different from Daoist disciples in that they need to formally apprentice and abide by the rules of their own sect. The master has certain requirements for beginners, such as good moral character, certain talent, certain economic foundation, good attitude and mentality, and understanding, willing to contribute to the sect, and so on. Often, beginner disciples are produced from disciples who have learned the Tao, some are introduced through intermediaries, and in other cases, the master himself takes a fancy to them and takes the initiative to accept them. ”

There are also disciples in the sect. Generally speaking, the disciples who are closed are the most beloved disciples of the teacher, so they have a special status among the disciples. ”

Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Life and death is an eternal topic, whenever we suddenly look back, we are surprised that time is no more, and the familiar faces have passed, which has to make us sigh again about the shortness of life." As we all know, Taoism is a religion that loves life, Taoism loves and values life, and treats life and death issues from both spiritual detachment and health preservation and practice methods to maintain the body and body. Nanhua Zhenren Zhuangzi lives and dies together, and sings with drums, which is free and easy to transcend birth, old age, sickness and death; Patriarch Tao Hongjing is more than 80 years old and still has a magnificent appearance, which is the result of practicing refining and maintaining health. ”
"Nowadays, the pace of social life is accelerating, and our own pace seems to be carried away, and individual individuals are inadvertently drowned in the huge torrent of social competition, running for fame, fortune and money, and getting lost. However, wealth cannot last long, the glory will also be dimmed, and the great achievements of the romantic characters will finally be in the jokes of the fisherman. The patriarch of Taoism has understood this point thousands of years ago, and Lao Tzu asked the world in his "Tao Te Ching": "Who is the name and the body?" What is the body and the goods? Sickness or death? ”
Lu Dongbin said with a smile: "Patriarch Zhang Boduan said more specifically and clearly: if you don't seek to get lost, you can't be a husband if you don't want to be virtuous." A hundred years of time is shining, and his life experience is blistering. is only greedy for fame and fortune and glory, and does not consciously describe it as dark and dry. Just ask the mountains such as piles of gold, impermanence can not be bought.
Zhong Liquan said with a smile: "Life is short for a hundred years, if you want to focus on the outside and ignore the inside, and value profit and light life, it will eventually make the original cramped life go ahead of time, which should be a blasphemy of life." In the Taoist view of life and death, it respects the natural nature of life and advocates that it will never die in its last year. But it is by no means the end of Taoism's treatment of life and death, and Taoism has a well-known saying: "My life is in my absence." Taoism believes that longevity can be prolonged through people's active cultivation and health preservation, and even longevity. The scriptures say that the human body is rare, and the Fa-rectification is rare, because Taoism attaches great importance to the practice of this life and this life, just as Patriarch Zhang Boduan said, "If you don't seek the road to get lost, how can you be a husband if you don't want to be virtuous?" "With this rare opportunity in life, I devoutly seek out the Master, practice diligently, and become a fulfillment of the Exalted. At this point, life and death have passed, beyond reincarnation, and enjoy longevity. ”
Lu Dongbin said: "There is a saying in the ancient poem, "Penglai Hall on the head of Jin Ao, only the human refining bone refining people" and "Shengge temporarily ends among the flowers, which is 10,000 years in the world". But it is not easy to stay away from the red dust and cultivate the Tao devotely. It is rare to have a heart for the Tao, and even fewer are able to throw away all kinds of shackles in the world and practice wholeheartedly. There are many ways to be immortal, and there are many ways to live and die after Taoism. To be able to cultivate one of them is a great blessing for me. ”
Chu said: "In terms of life, the health culture of Taoism is well-known at home and abroad. Maintaining health and conditioning one's own body is the foundation and premise of cultivation. ”
