Volume IV Summary
By the time of the chapter on the fall of the North, the volume was finally finished.
This volume is the one with the most dead people, Lin Jieyu, Jia Yuchun, Emperor Jianxi, Guifei, Chess King, Huang Chongde, Emperor Qitai, and finally Zhen......
Among the previous generation, a large number of people received boxed lunches.
After I started writing about King Gong's ascension to the throne, I uninstalled my writer's assistant - because I was worried that negative reviews or dropped subscriptions would affect my grasp of the plot, and this part of Zhen's death was too important.
So I don't look at reviews, I don't look at new subscriptions, I don't look at recommended monthly passes...... I write every day, and after writing, I blow water in the book friend group when I have time, and everyone is also very cooperative, and they don't discuss the plot with me.
Thank you very much for your care.
I wrote this summary on November 8, 2019 (yes, I have a manuscript in it), and I finally read all the previous comments, and I feel much calmer to see everyone throwing bricks.
Because the story of this volume has been written, you can hit me (with the lid up

About the plot
Overall, I'm happy with the plot of this volume - it's the best story I've presented so far.
A reader in the book friend group said before, "Bai Ling has encountered so many crises before, I have never felt that the world is depressed, and Zhen's death made me feel for the first time that the world is really a feudal dynasty, and it is really like a mustard."
This plot was conceived very early, and the first thread was buried at Zhen's nail making place. It's sad when I think about this ending, and it's even more sad when I actually write it.
I think Zhen is like a reflection of Bai Ling in this world. I watched the carefree hehe before, and said in the comment area that I felt that Zhen was like an ancient psychologist. When I read it, I felt very happy, and I felt that I had succeeded in writing and expressing myself. There are indeed many, many similarities between them, and in fact, Chen Yicong's affection for Bai Ling at the beginning was also due to this factor. Zhen and Bai Ling are very similar in concept, behavior and temperament, and writing about Zhen's death is like writing about a multiple ending for the heroine.
I didn't notice it when I wrote it, but when I looked back after I finished writing, I felt that Lin Jieyu, Guifei and Zhen were also the three choices in front of Bai Ling.
Lin Jieyu was a chess piece sent into the palace by the Ming Gong, and she was not satisfied with just a chess piece - so she was abandoned like a pawn;
The concubine is a mother who gave birth to an imperial heir and the emperor's wife (let's take it as a let's be counted), and her fate is firmly bound to Emperor Jianxi and the chess king. When Emperor Jianxi died, and Song Bozong wanted to establish King Qi as emperor and failed, there were not many options left in front of her - either follow Song Bozong's rebels and escape from the capital with the child, or die and leave the child to Song Bozong, or die with the child himself;
I don't think she would have thought too much if she hadn't met Bai Ling. She may be dragged away in a daze, or the child will be sent away, and she will kill herself without love—just like Concubine Ning. But in the end, she still broke through the cage and really bankrupted Song Bozong's conspiracy.
And from another point of view, what kind of fate will be the fate of an exiled emperor who is controlled by the Jin people, in the eyes of the Qu family, it is probably unbearable.
As for Zhen, I saw a reader leave a message before, saying that he felt that Zhen didn't really love King Gong, but just used him; In fact, I think it's just the opposite, I think Zhen really loves her husband, but King Gong loves her wife just by loving a life-saving straw, and he is close to his courtiers because these courtiers can stand in front of Emperor Jianxi when he is angry.
Love is an ability that needs to be learned, and from Zhen's attitude towards her husband and son, and even most of the people around her, I think Zhen understands how to love someone. Obviously, Prince Gong, who grew up trembling in the shadow of Emperor Jianxi, has never learned.
Prince Gong is not a heinous person by nature, and his weakness makes him more susceptible to being touched by the miserable situation of others, just like in the case of the exiles, in the end, it was King Gong who personally entered the palace to intercede, so that Emperor Jianxi left more time for Bai Ling. I think whether it is Zhang Shouzhong or Sun Beiji, these courtiers are willing to surround such a prince, and there are also some such considerations.
However, in extreme circumstances, this weakness can be magnified and can turn into unbearable selfishness and cruelty.
The grievances of Zhen's and Heng Yuanjun's generation should not be focused on ink in the text, and they may be written in the extranet. ……
About creation
In the process of writing this story, a friend came to me and tried to tell me what kind of problems the article had, how the plot should be arranged, and we had some very heated arguments.
The most intense part is in the first two volumes, my friend criticized the story of the concubine as useless, thinking that such a difficult case should not be put at the beginning, and a few small, successful, and very refreshing stories should be brought first, and then the plot of the concubine - the story of the concubine, until the end of that volume, there is no clear conclusion that "the concubine has been cured", which is also too unpleasant.
I thought it made sense, but then I thought it wasn't right.
What is cool.
It's cool to go from being weak to being able to control everything, from realizing that you can't do anything about something, to being able to settle down in the midst of all uncertainty and insist on making changes within your ability.
In fact, this transformation and acceptance struck me more than the former, even though my current level of storytelling may not be able to show that very well.
But as mentioned above, there is no such thing as "don't come up and pick such a difficult way to write for yourself" - because I can't write something that doesn't move me.
I can be sure of one thing - if a kind of coolness can move me, then there must be readers who will resonate with it, and I can slowly adjust the way it is presented to make it more delicately structured, faster and more intriguing, and then make it more beautiful;
And those that can't move me - I can't feel where the happiness is, how can I convey this happiness to others?
I understand that technique is important, layout is important, foreshadowing is important, rhythm is important, character design is important, and ingeniousness is important...... I'm also slowly learning, going to see more works, and making my stories more mature.
But if the development of a plot can't hit the actor himself first, then no matter how powerful and reasonable it is, it is useless.
The story is not well written, the pacing drags or something, and I accept criticism.
But other criticisms of my core premise -
Why write the heroine's mind so old and not let her act more like an eleven-year-old girl? Why don't you just write about Bai Ling's superb medical skills to cure the disease? Why did Bai Shijun write as a good old man who was a little virgin and a little weak, instead of simply setting up a great doctor like Li Shizhen? Why did Bai Yi's personality in the early stage write so awkwardly and even stubbornly instead of writing something else?
…… I won't accept any of them.
Because this is what I wrote, it certainly carries with it my likes and dislikes.
And if you put it inside, it's still an old saying - what you can't earn while standing up, you may not be able to earn it when you kneel.
It's true that the grades of this book are relatively poor, but the next one may be better than this one, just like this one is better than my previous one, and I am mentally prepared to go slowly step by step.
I still believe that even in commercial writing, the author should not completely distort himself to fit the story, and I hope that there is a compromise path that allows an author to lower the threshold for reading the work through more technical narrative means, while maintaining his or her own intention to tell a good story.

About the comments
The comment section of the book was managed by myself until this uninstallation of the writer's assistant.
Most of the time, what I see in the background is encouragement, people will praise me and hug me high, even if I encounter an abusive plot, everyone will just cry and tell me where and where to watch the heartache.
It wasn't until later that the book's results slowly picked up – though it was still a hit – and there were some strange comments at first
For example, leaving a dozen or twenty chapters in one breath is scolding people and quarreling with other book friends - you are not reading books at all, you are just venting your emotions, brother dei......
For example, to the point of "why do you use modal words all the time, it's too strange to read" - I think it's weird for you to ask an author not to use modal words?
And because I saw that some characters behaved too disgusting, I bypassed the characters and started spraying "The author is really disgusting to be able to write this kind of thing" - I think I'm disgusting, why keep reading it...... Black question mark jpg
The above kinds of comments, I basically deleted the post + permanently banned it as soon as I found it.
So far, there has not been a message similar to "The author is a eunuch early, I really can't stand it" in the book review area of "The Imperial Psychologist", but even if it does, I will directly reply with a sentence of "Fuck you, I don't" and then delete the post and block it.
If a book makes you feel bad, you can stop the loss in time, remove the shelves, and go look at something else; You can also write a comment about what makes you feel uncomfortable in the plot and what can be called a poison spot...... Wait, some I'll explain, some I'll refute, but in short, all friendly, restrained expressions, are welcome here.
But I think that the readers who can see it here should no longer have people who can spray around.
……
Finally, I would like to thank every reader who has subscribed, voted for recommendations and monthly passes, given tips, and written comments to encourage me.
A few days ago, my colleague took a screenshot of a Weibo post that I received
You like a celebrity, a blogger, a painter, an author, you have to say it. Don't think that the other party pays too much attention, and it doesn't miss you a rainbow fart. If it's bad, it's just you. If you blow this sentence, the disheartened author will be motivated to continue writing, the star who is scolded and crying will have one more smile, and the blogger who has not updated it for a long time will also be encouraged.
Don't like it silently, because people who hate them don't hate it silently.
After reading it, I feel more grateful for everyone's various fancy compliments.
I'm going to keep trying.
There are two more volumes after this book, and it is estimated that about 120~1.4 million words will end, thank you for your company.
