Chapter 3: The Underworld

The dog's head stuck in the crack of the door, its four paws kicked vigorously on the wooden door, and finally got rid of the shackles of the dilapidated wooden door, and suddenly jumped out of the range of the wooden door. It shook its head on the ground, tilted its head sideways, and slammed into the wooden door with a hard kick. This time, the collision was obviously much stronger, and the two mechanical dogs in the back were on guard, constantly scanning the surrounding environment.

Wu Liao looked at the hole in the door that was getting bigger and bigger, and the body of the mechanical dog that appeared with each impact. He was getting more and more panicked, but there was no better solution at the moment, he knew very well that this desk, this broken door, this small office called a secret room, there was no way to avoid the attack of these things. All he could do was hold on for a while, and hold on for a while.

The door finally couldn't withstand the impact anymore, and the mechanical dog slammed through the wooden door. Due to the problem of attitude adjustment, the mechanical dog smashed the ground not far from Wu Liao with the debris flying everywhere, and the red one-eyed looked so dazzling in the dim office!

Illuminated by the red light, a row of fangs reflected a dim glow. The mechanical dog jumped behind Wu Liao, it quickly stabilized its figure, threw its head in the direction of Wu Liao, grinned, bared its teeth, and stared at Wu Liao viciously. The remaining two mechanical dogs were firmly in the direction of the wooden door, and their computers believed that one was enough to wipe the humble human from the world.

Wu Liao completely fell into a frightened atmosphere, and in a panic, he casually picked up a door panel of about half a meter and waved it twice on his chest, as if a medieval knight was deterring the enemy.

The mechanical dog shook its head left and right and pounced on Wu Liao. Wu Liao stretched out his hand and waved the 'weapon' in his hand and greeted the mechanical dog. The direction of the mechanical dog's attack is very clear, that is, Wu Liao's neck, which is simple and clear and fatal with one move.

Wu Liao dodged the mechanical dog's first attack with a dodge to the left, and threw his right hand behind him and slammed it into the mechanical dog's head. The mechanical dog's open mouth effortlessly turned the stick in two, and as soon as it stabilized its shape, it launched another attack. High above Wu Liao's head, a pounce attempted to knock Wu Liao to the ground. Wu Liao rolled on the ground, rolled out of the attack range, the broken knots of the wooden stick were a little sharp, he changed his swing to a thorn, and stabbed out at the mechanical dog.

The stick stabbed on the mechanical dog's body, sending out tiny golden sparks, but only leaving a small white spot that did not affect its movement. The mechanical dog slid dozens of centimeters on the ground, and its metal claws left deep scratches on the ground. Seeing that the two attacks failed, the mechanical dog suddenly accelerated and jumped beside Wu Liao, turned his head and grabbed the wooden stick, and with undoubted strength, he threw the wooden stick out with Wu Liao on the other end.

With a bang, Wu Liao was smashed to the ground, and a piercing pain came from his body. He struggled to stand up, but he couldn't, he didn't get up, he leaned a little.

The mechanical dog did not stop attacking, took two steps back, accelerated sharply, jumped high and pounced on Wu Liao's body. How could he be the opponent of the mechanical dog, Wu Liao gently closed his eyes, ready to meet the arrival of death. The ground cracked under the action of force, as if there was only a shallow layer of foundation support, and it smashed down with Wu Liao and the mechanical dog. Underneath was a hollow, and there was not a single light in sight of the pitch-black opening. The weightlessness of the fall made him realize that it was not a dream.

The remaining two mechanical dogs anxiously rushed to the outskirts of the cave and barked wildly. The red spectrum has been spreading all the way to the bottom of the cave, but nothing has been found, apparently beyond their range. They can only linger at the mouth of the cave and have no desire to jump. The red one-eyed dimmed a little for a moment, as if under some order, quickly turned around, and ran directly towards the outside of the town, and after a while, disappeared without a trace.

"Where is this?" Wu Liao opened his eyes tiredly, first checked his injuries, and simply found that there was a haystack under the place where he fell, but there was a slight fracture, and his head should be groggy and there should be no big problem. His eyes narrowed into slits, and he laboriously surveyed the surroundings.

He must have been in a cave, surrounded on all sides by gables made of earth and stone, with neat walls above his head except for the hole from which he fell. The cave is about four or five meters high, but it is strange that this seemingly invisible cave has a comfortable natural light, and although it is slightly dim, its vision is not seriously affected.

The position above his head is where he just fell. Further up the entrance of the cave was pitch black, and there was no sign of what was going on outside. The cave continued to stretch outwards as far as his eyes could see.

He stood up with his strength, feeling like his body would fall apart if he moved a little bigger. Limped to the entrance of the cave. He pulled out the lighter he had brought with him and lit the bottom edge of the cave, wondering if he would have a chance to climb out of the cave again.

It turned out that this endless hole had a certain angle of inclination, and it was not a stunned fall. He breathed a sigh of relief. "No wonder, if it weren't for this sloping hole, I would have died a long time ago, right?" Wu Liao shook his head self-deprecatingly and whispered.

Looking at the surrounding scene, there were a few cigarette butts scattered on the ground, proving that there were traces of humans here, and there was even black charcoal left over from the bonfire not far from him.

There were still a few pieces of metal debris not far from him, and the entrance to the cave was close to a gable, and he struggled to move it, leaning against the gable, and slowly slid down. He felt very uncomfortable from the pain all over his body, and he happened to have a few packs of cigarettes from the store in his pocket. Skillfully lit one, the smoke was filled, and under the slight anesthesia of the cigarette, he felt that his whole body was slightly stretched, and he enjoyed the pleasure of escaping death.

"Click, click" two soft sounds reached his ears, and this voice turned out to be so familiar.

"That's right! What about the dogs! Wu Liao was shocked, stood up forcefully, looked around in horror, but did not see any trace of the mechanical dog, before he fainted, he clearly remembered that the mechanical dog that attacked him fell into the hole with him.

The sound still echoed in the cave, only getting closer and closer, coming from his left, but because the wide cave did not have enough light sources, he could not see the situation on the periphery clearly.

The voice became louder and louder, and Wu Liao's heartbeat continued to speed up with the voice, and finally, the first claw poked out, and the metallic luster was so dazzling in Wu Liao's eyes.
