Chapter IV
The interview is at 9 o'clock, and the interview takes place in the public clubhouse on the top floor. When I went up at half-past eight, there were no less than two hundred people on it, and many of them were escorts, like Su Mei. I got a registration form from the staff, and it was all in Japanese, maybe this is the first level! There were no desks, and many people wrote their reports on the wall.
I don't like to be with too many people, so I took the elevator with Su Mei to the next floor, we stepped on it yesterday, and the downstairs is also a public clubhouse, there is a rest hall, and there are a few people when we go, I don't know if it's also for an interview. I took a window seat and looked at the registration form carefully.
There are many items on it, two full pages, and the registration information is also very detailed.
"Dispatch?" I read it out in a low voice, because it was a katakana, not a kanji, and I didn't understand it until I read it a second time.
"Dispatch? What is it? Su Mei has been reading what I have written, although she can only understand a few Chinese characters on it, and guess the meaning of it through the Chinese characters.
It was a kind of social employment policy in Japan in the early 90s. In the past, Japanese employees were all tenured, but in the 90s, the occupation of dispatch workers imported from the United States was that they were hired by dispatch companies and paid on an hourly basis with no bonuses. The contract is also signed every three months, and after the contract is completed, it will be renewed according to the performance of the dispatcher and the company's requirements. "When I graduated from university, I was going to study in Japan, but I gave up because of Zhao Feng's strong opposition. Unexpectedly, the knowledge prepared at that time can still be used now.
"Isn't that our temporary worker?" Su Mei asked.
"Yes. As mentioned above, whether or not to accept the dispatch means that if they cannot become a regular employee, they also have temporary positions. "I put a NO on the paper and then moved on to the following question.
Ten minutes and nine o'clock, I answered all the questions, checked that there were no problems, and then went upstairs with Su Mei. After handing over the registration form to the staff, I was taken to a Japanese clerk for a speaking interview, and his questions were not difficult, and it was as easy as chatting. After receiving his nod of affirmation, I was taken to a large room where there were already twenty or thirty people, waiting for the next level of interviews.
At 10 o'clock, no one from outside came in, and there were about 50 people participating in the interview. After the staff asked us to sit down in our positions, they sent out written test questions, one paper per person, which was a bit of a college entrance examination.
"It's half an hour, please hurry." The staff spoke in pure Japanese.
In fact, the exam is not difficult, the difficult thing is how to answer well, I don't study nutrition, so I answer questions about eating by my own imagination. I studied economics and didn't know much about it, but I liked to eat and cook my own food, so I barely answered all the questions. Thirty minutes later, the staff told us all to stop writing, retrieve the papers, and take us to another room.
"Ahh As soon as I entered, I heard a small scream, and when I looked up at the voice, it was the same person last night, and he still had the examiner's sign pinned to him.
I just glanced at him, gave him an eyebrow, and then looked back. This world is really small, it turns out, he is really not an ordinary Japanese, I don't know how this little Japanese is open-minded, will he declare a personal vendetta and not let me pass?
He also cleared his throat, regained his composure, and stood in front of us, "Hello everyone, first meeting, I'm Eiichiro Minamida from the sales department of FOX Company, and I am the chief examiner for everyone today. ”
I thought that the written test would be followed by an interview, but what I didn't expect was that the question of our next test was actually eating. There are four chefs on it, each with a dish in front of them, and after we have tasted it, we choose which dish is the best and explain why, and one of the four is a local Japanese special chef who needs to be specified.
When everyone went to taste the food, I stood next to me and did not move, but went to observe these four people, Asians all looked similar, and I couldn't tell which one was Japanese, but the expressions of the four people were different to everyone when they were tasting food, some were nervous, some were smiling, some were calm, and some were arrogant. Even if it's not a comment, just looking at the expressions of these people seems to be a fun thing.
When there were fewer people in front of the dish, I walked over. The dish is divided into two servings, one for the sample and the other for tasting. But when I stepped forward, the portion I tasted was almost gone. I took my chopsticks and walked to the first one, which was a seafood jambalay, I picked a little rice with my chopsticks, then took a sip of the mineral water prepared by the staff, and walked to the next dish.
The second dish was grilled eel, but there was no eel in it, only a little soup left, I just dipped some of the soup and tasted it, frowned, and walked down again.
The third course is sushi, which is one of the most common in Japanese cuisine, and I didn't eat it, so I only took a toothpick and picked one, and then put it down again.
The fourth course is the egg stew, which is a bit like the egg custard we usually make. This is also the least touched dish, so I picked a little with chopsticks and tasted it.
Walked through the four dishes, put the disposable chopsticks in the bin, and then returned to the place and wrote carefully. After about 20 minutes, the examiner announced that the time had come and the staff began to collect the papers. We were ushered into the lobby for the final interview.
"Xiao Xia, how is it?" Su Mei was anxious to wait outside, saw me come out, and hurriedly asked.
At this time, there were already a lot of people gathered outside, and many people wanted to take the exam below, so they came up to inquire about the content of the exam. I found a corner with Su Mei and told her about some of the morning's exams, Su Mei was very interested in eating, and after hearing it, she quipped: "I'll go in the afternoon, there is something delicious to eat!" ”
I laughed, "You know how to eat, there's a black-faced god over there!" ”
Su Mei followed my words and looked over, and was seeing Nan Tian coming out of the examination room, "Huh? The kid who picked up you! ”
Su Mei's voice was not loud, and it had just been heard by the people around him, so that many people's eyes turned to Nantian, "It's okay!" Konatsu. Su Mei tugged at my sleeve.
"Not so far." I patted her on the shoulder and gave her a reassuring look.
At half past eleven, the list of interviews was announced, and I happened to be one of them, and the interview was at two o'clock in the afternoon, and the venue happened to be the meeting room downstairs.
