Chapter 43: Late
"Early?" Albert looked around the auditorium and saw no of the three Georges, he reached into his pocket, pulled out his pocket watch and looked at the time: 4:10.
Just right, very punctual.
"Still, yes. ”
Albert suddenly thought of something, and couldn't help but sigh lightly, George and the three were only eleven-year-old children, and they didn't expect them to have much time to understand.
What's more, the three of them don't have pocket watches!
"I hope you don't keep me waiting too long. He muttered.
Albert took out his wand and wiped his fingerprints with a handkerchief while recalling the conjuring knowledge of Transfiguration Theory.
"Chrysanthemums are in full bloom. He whispered.
Well, nothing happened.
Albert immediately checked his skill list, and suddenly noticed that someone was sitting next to him.
Not twins, it should be said. If it were the three of them, it wouldn't be so quiet.
Albert glanced at the skill, but he didn't find the summoning technique, and sure enough, he still had to borrow a fifth-grade book to flip through it.
"Something?" Albert asked, looking at Shanna.
"That...... Can you ......" Shanna hesitated a little, and before she could finish speaking, she was interrupted.
"Albert, ...... over here" the twins beckoned to him at the entrance to the auditorium.
"I have to go. Albert looked at Shanna and asked, "What did you just want to say?"
"Nothing. Shanna looked a little lost.
"If you want me to teach you Transfiguration, I'm afraid not right now, I'll have an appointment later. Albert recalls a few problems he encountered when he first learned magic, and comforted, "Don't be in a hurry, getting started is the hardest, and it took me a long time to learn Transfiguration." ”
"Oh, thank you. Shanna thought for a moment and said, "In the evening, can you spare time ......?"
"If you have time, it's not impossible...... So...... See you in the evening!" Albert walked briskly towards the outside of the auditorium.
"See you in the evening. Shanna looked at Albert's departing back and whispered, "Why is the gap so big?"
"What were you guys talking about?" Fred asked curiously.
"Where are you going?" said Albert, unpleasantly, "the time you agreed with Charlie is almost up." ”
"You know, we don't have pocket watches. The faces of the three of them were a little embarrassed, and naturally they knew that they were just late.
"I don't blame you, I knew you would be late. Albert looked up at the sky, and it was still a bit muggy in the afternoon.
"By the way, your brother is really going to let us take a test flight on his broomstick?" said Jordan stiffly changing the subject.
Speaking of flying on a broomstick, Li Jordan was still a little nervous. After all, he hadn't really tried a broomstick, and although the family had bought him a toy broomstick, it couldn't fly high or fast, and it couldn't fly in front of Muggles.
"Yes, if he's a qualified captain, he won't mind taking the time to see if there are any good newcomers among the freshmen, even if he can't join the team in the first year, he can wait for the next semester as a reserve player. Albert casually comforted.
Albert was right. George reached out and patted Lee Jordan on the shoulder, "I think the most important thing you need to worry about is not falling off the broom." ”
"You're going to fall out of the air. Lee Jordan glared at George angrily.
"Albert, have you ever played with a broom before?" Fred asked suddenly.
"I was born into a Muggle family, what do you say?" Albert rolled his eyes at Fred and bent down to pick up a small stone from the ground.
"What are you doing picking up that broken rock?" George was a little puzzled.
"You'll find out later. Albert tossed the small stone in his hand and did not answer George's question directly
The four of them frolicked to the Quidditch pitch, but Charlie had not yet arrived, and their appointed time was half past four in the afternoon.
"I reckon your brother might show up later. Albert came to the entrance to the Quidé Stadium and the door was locked. That doesn't stop them, though. Albert uses the Alajo Cave Spell to open the iron door with ease.
The Quidditch pitch is underneath a soft grass with sand in the middle, which reduces injuries caused by players falling from above during match.
Hundreds of chairs line the surrounding stands, and there are three poles at each end of the pitch, each fifty feet high, with large rings on top, shaped like little plastic sticks used by children to blow soap bubbles.
"Charlie must be late. Fred was a little depressed.
"What to do now, the sooner you know, the sooner you come. George also regretted that they had come early, and that they didn't have their own broomsticks, which was a very bad thing.
"You can practice spells. Albert sat in the shadow of the lawn and kindly reminded the trio: "Practice the glow charm, you are idle anyway, find something for yourself." ”
"Well, you're right. The three of them were a little depressed, but they had to admit that Albert's words were right, there was nothing to do anyway, so it was better to find something for themselves, so that time would pass quickly.
Albert also drew his wand and began to practice the Illusion Charm with the stone he had just picked up.
"Now, I know why you learned spells so quickly. Lee Jordan stared at his wand flashing, a little depressed.
No matter who practices so hard, unless you are really stupid, there is no reason why you can't learn!
Of course, if they knew that Albert had a plug-in, they might not think so.
It was about five o'clock when Charlie Weasley arrived in a hurry, bringing his broomstick...... A sweep of five stars.
Of course, this was introduced to Albert by the twins, and he only learned the name of this thing, and he heard that it was an older broomstick.
"How did you get in, I think there should be a lock here. Charlie looked at the four people who were walking towards him suspiciously.
"Lockpicking charms, of course. The twins rightly said.
"Ahem, don't use that tone, it looks like you're going to use lockpicking charms. Lee Jordan couldn't help but complain.
"You didn't drive it anyway. George gave Lee Jordan a blank look and said angrily.
"Alright, the test is easy, you just need to ride my broomstick around the Quidditch pitch!" Charlie looked at Albert and Lee Jordan and asked, "Have you ever ridden a broomstick?"
"Nope. Albert replied simply.
"I've only ever ridden a toy broomstick. Lee Jordan muttered quietly.
"When the two of them are done, you can try it too!" Charlie, who did not reject the friends brought by the twins, turned his head to look at the twin brothers who were fighting for the broomsticks, and warned, "You two, honestly fly around the Quidditch pitch, if I find out what little tricks you are up to...... Hmph!"
