Although Zhang Huaide has designed many tokamak devices and stellarators, the design of the neutron press is still the first time that a big girl has been on a sedan chair, so the reaction capacity of the design is one kilogram DD in a single chamber.

A single chamber cycle is 20 minutes at a time, because the time taken to inject DD, neutron compression, and discharge helium ash is very short, generally the No. 1 and No. 3 vacuum chambers are fusion and energy release, and the No. 2 and No. 4 vacuum chambers do the other three links.

This is equivalent to four vacuum chambers, two of which will release energy at the same time, consuming 2 kg of DD raw material for every 20 minutes.

You must know that Dongtang was the largest thermal power station in China, with a total installed capacity of only 6.5 million kilowatts, which is equivalent to 6.5 supercritical steam turbine generator sets of 1 million kilowatts.

The Qinling Plasma Research Institute ordered 60 units at once, which shows how huge it is.

As for whether 60 1 million kilowatt supercritical steam turbine generator sets are too much, in fact, it is not much at all, because every 20 minutes consumes 2 kg of DD, an hour is 6 kg DD, 6 kg DD nuclear fusion, which can produce huge heat.

The comprehensive power generation efficiency of boiling water is about 40%, and 40% is 56 million kilowatt hours, which can be met by at least 56 supercritical steam turbine generator sets of 1 million kilowatts.

The remaining 4 units are standby units.

Jinwu 1 can generate about 480 billion kilowatt hours of electricity a year just by boiling water to generate electricity.

The laser power generation system is expected to generate 1.7 trillion kilowatt hours of electricity a year.

The two systems should add up to 2.18 trillion kWh, and the total domestic power generation in Dongtang in 2019 was 13.4 trillion kWh.

From here, it can be seen that nuclear fusion power generation is terrible, a Jinwu 1 consumes 52 tons of DD nuclear fuel a year, which can produce 2.18 trillion kilowatt hours of electricity.

The cost of 1 ton of DD nuclear fuel is 400 million Mars coins, and 52 tons is 20.8 billion Mars coins, which is equivalent to 104 kWh of electricity The fuel cost is 1 Mars coin.

Don't forget how DD nuclear fuel is produced, it is produced through multiple distillation electrolysis, and the cheap electricity produced by nuclear fusion to produce DD nuclear fuel can reduce the production cost of DD nuclear fuel, which is simply a perfect virtuous circle.

Once Jinwu No. 1 is officially put into use, the price of electricity will really be extremely cheap, and the cost of electricity will be reduced, which can effectively reduce all production costs and form a virtuous circle.
