Daomen's "Cave Heaven and Blessed Land" has been mentioned as early as in the Taoist books of the Shangqing School, such as "Daoji Jing" and "True Message".

Some of the victories where the immortals live are in the heavens, such as the Sanqing Realm for 36 days, some are in the sea, such as the three islands of the Ten Continents, and some are in the famous caves, such as the blessed land of the caves.

The theory of cave heaven and blessed land is an important part of the theory of heaven and earth, and its basic connotation can be explained as follows: in the living space centered on heaven and earth inhabited by human beings (i.e., the so-called "great heavenly world"), there are still 36 relatively isolated living worlds of different sizes (i.e., ten cave heavens and 36 small cave heavens) and 72 special areas (i.e., seventy-two blessed lands).

"Cave Heaven Blessed Land" is a fairyland on earth, most of which are located in or between the large and small famous mountains in China, they are connected to the heavens, constituting a special world, which inhabits fairies or strangers who escape from the world.

Different from the Great Heaven World inhabited by ordinary people, the Cave Heaven World has its own unique time and space structure.

Because its time rate is different from that of the human world, and the spatial structure is also different from that of the Great Heavenly World, under normal circumstances, the Cave Heaven World does not appear to the world.

Except for some special chance to enter the cave, it is usually difficult for people in the world to visit this mysterious world.

The best explanation of the concept of cave heaven can be found in the early Shangqing classic "Ziyang Zhenren Neibiography", which says: "The sky is meaningless empty, the mountain is meaningless hole, and people are meaningless houses." The emptiness in the belly of the mountain is called the cave garden, and the emptiness in the human head is called the cave house. It is to be a real person in the sky, in the mountains, in the people, into the infernal, with millet Rong Penglai Mountain, including Liuhe, heaven and earth can not be contained. ”

According to this interpretation, "Dongtian" has two meanings: broad and narrow.

In a broad sense, Dongtian includes the sky (天无), the cave (山无), and the cave house (Toukong). This explanation clearly shows the Daomen's view of heaven and earth: heaven and earth are composed of multiple layers of space, and the time and space in heaven and earth are relative.

In the history of Taoism in China, many ancient documents record the magical experience of ordinary people arriving at these caves and blessed lands, forming the time concept of "seven days in the cave, a thousand years in the world", that is, people generally believe that the time in the fairyland is different from the time of ordinary humans, and this time concept of "one day in the sky and one year underground" has been recognized by the public.

The cave heaven and blessed land in the Dao Gate have at least reached the state of the fifth dimension, and if time (four dimensions) is made up of three-dimensional motion, then the fifth dimension is composed of four-dimensional motion. The fifth dimension is actually a plane of time.

It is conceivable that an object in five-dimensional space should span different time axes, but people can only observe a part of it on any one time axis.

Therefore, for the Cave Heaven Blessed Land, sometimes ordinary people can only observe a part of it, and people in the world can only enter the Cave Heaven by chance through some special chances, and it is usually difficult to peek into these mysterious worlds.

In the view of Daomen, human beings and immortals inhabit a space called "Great Heavenly World", and "Cave Heaven Blessed Land" refers to the sacred space of Daomen within the Great Heaven, these 36 relatively isolated, different sizes of life worlds (i.e., ten major caves, thirty-six small caves) and seventy-two special areas (i.e., seventy-two blessed land) are located in the famous mountains in China, they are interconnected and constitute a special underground world.

In other words, the "Great Heaven World" and the "Cave Heaven Blessed Earth" world have a heavy harmony, but they are not contained.

Therefore, the cave world is not visible to the world, and it is impossible for ordinary people to find it, and it is only possible to "stray" into the cave sky, because the cave heaven has no fixed location.

However, the cave is not completely isolated from the human world, it is still in this heaven and earth, so people still have a chance to discover it, and the immortals in the cave will also visit the world.

1. The Cave Heaven World overlaps with the Great Heaven World, but it does not appear to the world.

2. What is called the "Cave Heaven Blessed Land" is not the mountains and rivers themselves, but a magical land hidden in them.

3. The entrance of the "Cave Heaven Blessed Land" is only a symbol, which does not mean that the cave is here.

Fourth, it is impossible for people to find the cave with a purpose, and they can only "strayed into the cave", all by fate.

Therefore, people go to the famous mountains and rivers known as the "Cave Heaven Blessed Land", not to say that they really arrived at the Cave Heaven Blessed Land, but to get close to it, if there is fate to "stray into the Cave Heaven", or meet the immortals, bring it into the Cave Heaven, it is really a great creation!

There is a saying that you have become an immortal: "One day in the cave, a thousand years in the world." This sentence is considered nonsense, but it is true in real life, and it is a paranormal phenomenon called "time and space tunnel".

"One day in the cave, a thousand years in the world" means that when the world happens to meet immortals, only stay with them for a while, and then return to the world, more than ten years, even a hundred years, or a thousand years have already passed in the world.

The reason why immortals are immortals is because they do not live in the space where ordinary people live, and their time is naturally different from the time of ordinary people, and their time passes faster than that of the human world.

The old man said: "It is not right to lead the ox and trample on the crops in other people's fields, but because of this, you have to snatch away other people's cattle, which is even more wrong." ”

The old man said: "If you know your mistakes, you will change them, and there will be no mistakes." Because of the sins of this pig's life in the past life, you deserve such retribution in this life, and you don't have to apologize. ”

The old man asked Wentong to sit in the hall, and saw that there were more than a dozen scholars in the room, all wearing lotus crowns and wide-sleeved single clothes, and an old man was sitting alone on a couch, facing south and talking about the Tao Jing.

Wentong walked out of the house and carefully observed the pedestrians and things on the road, which was no different from the outside world, but he felt that this place was far away from the world, quiet and empty, and it was a rare resort, and he did not want to leave.

But the old man refused to take him in, so he sent a child to lead him out, and told him to keep the gate closed so that outsiders could not come in again.

On the way back, Wentong asked the boy what was going on, and the child said, "Those people in the house are all sages, who came here to escape the tyrannical and unruly troubled times, and became immortals because of their learning. ”

"I was a sweeping servant under the immortal gate for ten years (twelve years is one age) before I became this gatekeeper, and so far I have not understood the key to the Taoist scriptures, so I can only guard the door here. ”
