078 Capitalism of all evils

In the dim light, Jill could make a vague glimpse of Joseph's silhouette, crouching in the grass about a hundred paces away from the wreckage of the helicopter. Instinctively, Jill pulled his pistol from his waist and suddenly felt overwhelmed by a striking fate.

Joseph stood up as if he was holding something, and then he screamed in fright from the thing, and his eyes widened.

In that moment, Jill didn't understand why Joseph was so frightened by the thing in his hand. Because it's just a gun,.. S's pistol – Beretta.

Jill followed Wesker, hurrying to quicken his pace.

- It turned out that the pistol was held in a severed hand, a hand that had been severed from the wrist.

And in the shadows of the woods, a deafening roar came from behind Joseph, clearly the roar of a wild beast.

Then there was a hoarse, high-pitched roar, apparently from another beast.

Immediately after, a black muscular object suddenly sprang out of the woods and threw Joseph to the ground.

"Joseph!"

Jill shouted. Chris stopped and pulled out his weapon, trying to find a position where he could target the beasts that were attacking Joseph. Wesker shone the faint glow of the flashlight at the beasts, and the nightmare was revealed.

Joseph's body was already obscured by three beasts, so he couldn't see it. But their sharp teeth collided with each other with a terrifying sound, and a disgusting mucus flowed from between the powerful upper and lower jaws. These beasts were about the size of dogs, about the size of sheepdogs. But these guys are hairless, and not only that, they don't even have skin. Wet crimson muscles and veins glowed under the glow of Wesker's shaking flashlight. The dog-like monster howls like a mad dog while gnawing at its prey.

Joseph was shouting, but the voice sounded like gargling. His hands struggled desperately against the wild attackers, and a large amount of blood came out of the wounds on his body. His cry was nothing more than the cry of a dying man, and it wasn't the time for Chris to aim and shoot.

One of the dogs was hit by three bullets and the fourth missed. Then it let out a scream and fell to the ground, convulsing. But the other two dogs continued to attack Joseph, as if deaf to the deafening sound of gunfire. Chris was stunned by the horrific sight in front of him, and at that moment, one of the hellhounds with slime in his mouth bit Joseph's throat, exposing the bloody cartilage tissue and shiny bones to the air.

.. The men of S opened fire on the beast that had killed Joseph, and the bullets rained down on it, sending red blood flying through the air. The beast was still gnawing at Joseph's convulsive corpse as the bullet smashed its body into a honeycomb, and its faint cry continued until it finally collapsed, never able to get up.

"Stop shooting!"

Although Chris's finger was off the trigger, the muzzle of the gun was still aimed at the fallen monster, ready to take down any monster that stood up. The second monster wasn't dead yet, it struggled and let out a faint moan. The third lay lifeless next to Joseph, who had become a corpse.

- should be dead, should be killed with a single shot! What the hell are these guys?

Wesker takes a step forward and steps into this scene of carnage......

- This is, terrible barking sounds came from all directions, and they all came in unison. S's team, it's the high-pitched howl of a predator when it's enraged.

"Hurry up and get back to the helicopter!" Wesker hurriedly shouted.

Chris started to run, Barry and Jill were in front of him, and Wesker was in charge. In this way, the four of them walked through the gloomy woods at great speed, as if they were being whipped by an invisible rattan. The barking was getting closer, and it sounded like the beasts were chasing after them.

Wesker spun around and fired indiscriminately in the back. The crowd did not dare to delay for a moment, and stumbled towards the place where the helicopter was standing. The propeller could be heard spinning, but Chris didn't feel a sense of security. Brad must have heard the gunshots as well, what will he do this time......

Chris could hear the monsters chasing after them, their skinny bodies "whooshing" as they made their way through the trees. At the same time, Chris also saw Brad's wide eyes and his iron-blue face through the windshield of the helicopter. The light from the helicopter's joystick reflected Brad's frightened face, glowing green in the darkness. He shouted, but the roar of the engine drowned out all sounds. The wind from the propeller blew all around, turning the surrounding grass into a sea of rolling waves.

There are still fifty steps to go, and you can reach ......

Suddenly, the helicopter slowly floated up, and then began to accelerate violently. In a final moment, Chris saw Brad's face, which was filled with blind fear. It can be seen that he has been captured by fear, unable to think, and only knows to hold on to the joystick.

"Nope! Don't go! Chris shouted. But the helicopter's landing gear swayed irregularly, and had risen beyond the reach of the crowd. Then it flew away quickly, leaving the team in the pitch darkness.

They were thus abandoned by fate.

"Kao, bastard Wix!"

Wesker turned around and fired again. As a result, one of the beasts chasing after him let out a howl of pain. But there were at least four others chasing after them, and they were not deterred by the gunfire, and they kept pounced on everyone.

"Don't stop!" Wesker shouted.

The shrill howl of the monster caused the crowd to speed up again, and gradually the sound of the helicopter was no longer audible, and the coward Vickers completely cut off their hope of escape.

Wesker fired again, but missed. Those terrible mad dogs were so fast that the team would have no chance to escape.

That's right, the villa!

"Go to the right, one o'clock direction!" Wesker shouted as he prayed inwardly that his sense of direction was still accurate. It's not as fast as those monsters, but at least before we catch up, we should still have time to get there.

Wesker turned around and fired the remaining bullets from the magazine. "No more bullets!"

Removing the empty magazine, Wesker removed the new magazine from his belt as he ran. Here, Barry and Chris turned to become Wesker's shields, thus covering for him. During Wesker's reload, the group came to a clearing overgrown with weeds, and then burrowed into the shadowy woods opposite.
