081 Behind Resident Evil
Chris frowned and sniffed carefully, there was a faint stench. The unpleasant smell coming from there was familiar to him. Chris just stood in the doorway, recalling in his mind about the smell.
One summer day when he was a child, he was riding a bicycle with a friend when the chain fell off and the car tumbled into a ditch. In front of his eyes and nose there was a pile of meat sauce that had been run over by a passing car. The pile of meat had been exposed to the air and sunlight for many days, and it gave off the most disgusting smell, and I remember throwing up all my breakfast on the pile. So even though I had taken a deep breath just now, the smell of rancid things in the air reminded me clearly, and the stench of the pile of rotten flesh in the summer sun, as if it were sour milk mixed with bile. And now the smell in the air in the hallway is exactly the same as it was then, like a nightmare.
Chirping......
Chris ended his memories just in time, and from behind the first door on his right, as if something was scratching the wall, a faint voice sounded. Sounds like someone should be on the other side. He leaned over gently against the wall, as he wouldn't turn his back in a direction he hadn't yet confirmed. As he approached, the sound of movement on the other side was interrupted, and the door didn't close.
Great opportunity!
Chris gently pushed open the door, as if he could vaguely see the green wallpaper pasted in the hallway opposite. Less than twenty paces forward, a man with broad shoulders stood in the hallway. I can't see what he looks like because he has his back to Chris. The man seemed to sense someone behind him, too, and slowly turned around. He seemed to be drunk, or else injured, but in any case he was very slow in his movements, and he staggered when he walked. As he turned, the rancid smell that Chris had just smelled suddenly became more intense, and it came towards him like a mountain. The man was dressed in rags and had very thin hair on his head.
The person is sick, and it is possible that he is going to die......
Despite the poor physical condition of the other party, Chris did not let his guard down. And his instinct told him to be careful. Chris dodged into the middle of the hallway and pointed his gun at the man.
"Stop, don't move!"
The man had fully turned, stepped out of the way in the dim light, and began to walk towards Chris. Man'sโthe guy's face was as pale as the dead. Only the vicinity of the rotting lips was stained red with blood. His face was cracked, his skin was almost peeling off, his sunken eye sockets radiated a gaze, and his bony hands stretched forward......
Without the slightest hesitation, Chris immediately and decisively opened fire, three bullets pierced the monster's chest, and a burst of blood mist burst out of the wound. The guy let out a groan of pain and rolled over and fell to the floor dead.
Chris only felt his heart pounding violently, his mind raced, and he crashed into the door behind him in this unconscious state. As he stared at the stenching corpse, he dimly realized that the door behind him made a "click" as it closed.
- It's a dead man, this guy is a walking corpse!
Cannibalism in Raccoon City all occurred near forested areas. Chris couldn't comprehend what he was seeing, as if it were a horror movie that was broadcast on TV in the middle of the night, unbelievable.
It's a zombie!
No, it can't be, it's something that people made up entirely, maybe a disease very similar to zombies. Be sure to tell the others that Chris turned to grasp the doorknob at this point, but the heavy door didn't move. It must have been the lock that locked automatically when I hit that door just now.
At this point he felt something behind him, and Chris turned sharply, and his eyes widened like brass bells.
The zombie twitched as it slowly crawled across the floor, the slime from its mouth leaving a long pink mark on the spot it had crawled through. Chris shot twice at the monster's rotting face, the bullet opening a black hole in its skull. Blood spurted out of its mouth, and after a sharp gasp, the rotting zombie finally collapsed in a pool of blood and stopped moving.
Chris didn't think the guy was going to die, so he pushed the door again, but it was a futile move. In desperation, he had to carefully walk over the corpse and continue to walk forward. Although another door appeared not far away, Chris found that it was also locked after trying it. As he walked forward, he felt a whirlpool of confusing thoughts envelop him, and he gripped Beretta even harder in his hand.
There was a fork in the hallway on the right side, and a door, which Chris ignored. He looked around, trying to find his way back to the central hall. The other teammates must have heard their own gunshots, and although they can't know for sure, there must be a lot of monsters in this villa that they killed just now. In that case, the teammates may be fighting those monsters at the moment.
There is a door on the left at the end of the hallway, where the hallway extends to the right. Chris raced towards the door, the rancid smell of zombies, as they could only be called at this stage, disgusting him. As Chris approached the door, the stench grew stronger.
When Chris grabbed the doorknob, he could hear their hungry moans, but there were only two rounds left in the magazine.
After reloading, Chris jerked the door open and made his way to the other side, but what awaited him there was the outstretched hands of a slow-moving monster.
The target of those hands was Chris's throat.
The skin peeled off and the bones were pointed at him.
Three gunshots. A few seconds later, two more shots. Although the gunshots came from a long distance, it was still possible to hear where they were coming from.
Chris!
"Jill, you ......" Wesker didn't finish the sentence.
"Let's go too." Barry said. With that, he ran towards the east door, knowing that Chris wasn't going to shoot for no reason, and he must be asking for help.
Wesker then nervous and nodded. "Go ahead, I'll wait here."
Barry opened the door, and Jill followed him closely. The two entered the spacious dining room together. Although the width is not as wide as the hall next door, it is at least about the same in depth. A door could be seen deep inside the house, and the clock made a loud noise, shaking the cool, dusty air.
