preface

Before writing this novel, I have to state that it is not a continuation of "Chinese Youth 1", nor does it completely appear in my own life.

The characters here are just reproductions and processing of several prototype characters in real life. The novel is about a group of young people who are confused about their youth, ideals, love, and the future, and they have loved, hurt, confused, and even decadent and erosive.

But it is precisely because of these painful loves and hates that they confirm the truth of life and encourage them to persevere and forge ahead.

I have to admit that the author himself is also a member of this era and this group, and he also feels lost and panicked, helpless and confused.

The author believes that there is a lack of a book on the book market that really writes about the real college life of the post-80s or post-90s, and the book lacks the original ecological life state and situation they are in, and the process of their confusion and struggle is even lacking.

Therefore, the appearance of this novel fills the historical gap of contemporary youth literature in a timely manner. The author is convinced that, in addition to Haruki Murakami's "Norwegian Wood", this is the first good book to deeply expose and describe contemporary college students in detail.

Although some of the contents of the book deviate from traditional concepts, and even have a bit of the flavor of "The Golden Vase of Plums", they are real, profound, and indelible.

Therefore, the author hopes that the majority of readers can find their familiar but unfamiliar shadows in the book, or reminiscence, or reverie, or self-reflection......
