Chapter 3 Induction Training
Chapter 3: Induction Training
At 1:55 p.m., Lisa arrived at the cafeteria meeting point on time. I couldn't find anything wrong with her makeup, and she still stood dazzling in the crowd. At two o'clock on time, the roll call was already complete, they took us from the canteen, passed through the R&D building--- manufacturing workshop--- office building--- packaging department, and then took us into a room with the door number "multi-purpose room", which was large and could accommodate more than 100 people. There was a big screen and a lectern on the podium, and there was a computer and a projector on the table (I didn't know it at first, but later I learned that this thing was called a projector)
Lisa put on a megaphone, walked up to the podium with a lot of materials in her hand, and with a gentle voice and a charming smile, the whole room fell silent and listened attentively. It turns out that the name of this factory is Friendship Electronics Factory, which is a Taiwan-funded enterprise, and the place where we are located is Jiekou Village, Chang'an Town, Dongguan, Guangdong. Friendship Electronics Factory mainly does network servers, network card products, so far it has been 2 years, the products are exported to all over the world, and large domestic network companies also have direct cooperation.
The person who wears white overalls is at the level of a section leader (equivalent to a department manager). The yellow ones are the quality inspection department, the blue ones are the manufacturing department, and the people in suits and uniforms are the office staff. We belong to the basic staff, 5 days and 8 hours of work, the basic salary is 500, 1.5 times overtime on weekdays, and 2.0 times on Saturdays and Sundays. The factory is divided into morning, noon and evening shifts, so the workshop is uninterrupted 24 hours a day. There are additional night shift allowances, as well as attendance bonuses, food subsidies ......, and our basic employees can get about 580 without overtime in a month, and the factory includes food and accommodation. At that time, the boxed lunch was only 3 yuan a piece, so this salary was already a lot for us.
The factory has an employee activity center, a library, karaoke, a chess and card room, an infirmary, a billiard room, and a basketball court. In addition, there will be staff skills training organized every week, such as computers, ISO instructors, and self-examination training. We can study for internal exams and then move up the ranks. Like she said, we are lucky to be here, there are many opportunities to improve ourselves, we can learn a lot of knowledge, and we can make a lot of friends.
The three hours were fast approaching, and Lisa said, "You guys may not be able to stay here yet, don't have breakfast tomorrow, and we're going to have a health check-up at 8 a.m." ”
I didn't know what a health check-up was, so I didn't worry about anything, and I went to bed very early after eating and chatting with Wang Li for a while. It may be that I haven't had a good rest in the past few days, so I slept very soundly this night. I didn't wake up until I heard Wang Li tell me to get up.
When I opened my eyes and saw her, I thought it was at school (because she told me to wake up for breakfast at school), and I quickly got up and said if I was late. Then I realized that we went to work and had to do a health check-up today.
After washing, we went downstairs together holding hands, and the place for the physical examination was in the infirmary, and we were sent a physical examination form first, and after filling in the personal information, we posted a photo of ourselves. There are many people who have a physical examination, and there are many items: height, weight, vision, electrocardiogram, urine test and blood draw. I've never had an electrocardiogram, urine test and blood draw, I've seen on TV that only any serious illness will have an ECG and blood draw, and as for the urine test, I feel a little embarrassed, because there are boys, and the doctor is also a man.
But I thought, "Either way, this is the way to go." Everyone else has to do it, so I just want to do it! "That's how we followed everyone to the last blood-drawing project. Blood draws, like electrocardiograms, are lined up outside the door, and those who are called by name go in.
