Chapter Thirty-Eight: Karl's Little Story

Carl is quite skillful in storytelling, he treats his experience as a novel, deliberately exaggerating certain dangers and dangers, focusing on the embarrassment of his illness and the extreme danger of encountering thieves.

Even little Heidi was unwittingly attracted by Carl's story and quietly poked her head out from behind Mrs. Loris.

"Your experience has been truly enriching. ”

Lady Loris listened to the whole story and sighed with satisfaction.

However, she blinked in a blink of an eye, stroked the hair of little Heidi, who also heard the fascination, and chuckled: "Your story is very well told, so that my little Heidi can listen attentively." ”

Little Heidi couldn't help but hide in Mrs. Loris's arms a little shyly, looked up timidly, glanced at Carl quickly, and once she touched Carl's gaze, she moved away as quickly as a frightened rabbit.

"Thank you for the compliment!"

Karl sat upright, his eyes open, and he generously admired the beautiful figures of Lady Loris and little Heidi. Mrs. Loris's mature charm is intoxicating, the black veil that half-covers her face, and the snow-white gap that looms on her breasts, all reveal a mysterious charm that involuntarily attracts the attention of men.

From a man's point of view, the plump, mature and mysterious Mrs. Loris is more feminine than the slightly young Heidi, but for some reason, there is a strange attraction on the little Heidi, like a magnet, which involuntarily attracts Carl's gaze, making him slide his gaze down to Little Heidi from time to time.

For most mature ladies, being looked at with an honest and obsessive gaze is not a faux pas, but rather a manifestation of their own charm.

Karl knew this, and was not hesitant to express his honesty to Mrs. Loris, but his gaze was a little too aggressive for a young and shy girl like little Heidi, and she couldn't help but want to hide.

"Mr. Carr, though it is basic gentlemanly etiquette to pay attention to a lady, your enthusiasm has evidently frightened my little Heidi. ”

Lady Loris seemed to notice this, and immediately gave Carl a reproachful look.

"Uh, I'm sorry!"

Carl couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed, he didn't mean to, but Heidi seemed to have a magical power on her, which involuntarily attracted his attention.

"I forgive you!"

Lady Loris smiled lightly, and while gently stroking little Heidi's long silky hair, she smiled and said, "However, as a punishment for you to offend a lady." You have to tell a story for my little Heidi, and if your story will make little Heidi like it, then I'll forgive you on my little Heidi's behalf and introduce you to a really decent job, how about it?"

As an earthling living in the era of the Big Bang of knowledge, he has seen and heard too many stories, novels, movies, TV series, comics, anime, news, legends and countless other information bombardment, so that the stories in his brain are overflowing, in this era of lack of knowledge and entertainment, so many stories are a valuable asset.

Carl looked at Lady Loris, who was smiling through the veil, and little Heidi, who was hiding in Mrs. Loris's arms, but still curiously peeking over, and after a little thought, he found a suitable story.

"Then I'll tell you a mermaid story!"

"In the distance of the sea, the water is so blue, like the most beautiful cornflower petals, and at the same time so clear, like the brightest glass. And yet it's so deep that no anchor chain can reach it......"

"To get from the bottom of the sea to the surface, there have to be many, many church spires connected one after the other. The people at the bottom of the sea live down here......"

"But don't think it's just a white sand seabed. No, there are the most exotic trees and plants growing there......

"Their branches and leaves are so soft that they shake as if they were alive at the slightest touch of water. All the big and small fish swam among the branches, like birds in the sky......"

The carriage was galloping quickly in the green fields, the street trees on both sides were floating and retreating, and the large neat wheat fields and rape fields were constantly left behind.

The carriage was silent, except for Carl's muffled voice, slowly telling the story of the old "Daughter of the Sea".

This story of a mermaid falling in love with a human prince apparently captured the hearts of Lady Loris and Heidi the Little Mermaid at once.

When Carl combined the nature documentaries he had watched with the original stories to describe the beautiful scenery of the seabed, Mrs. Loris couldn't help but raise her eyebrows, surprised by Carl's familiarity with the underwater landscape, and the leisurely fascination of the scenery he described, while little Heidi stared at Carl with a sparkling look of surprise, obviously surprised by his description of the underwater scenery.

When Carl combined the film and television dramas and novels he saw to imagine the magnificence of the Sea Emperor's Palace and the prosperity of the underwater civilization, Mrs. Loris couldn't help but shake her head and chuckle, both admiring Carl's rich imagination and ridiculing that did not match the actual situation. Little Heidi was obviously fascinated by Carl's description of the Neptune's palace, and showed a leisurely and fascinated look.

When Carl finished describing the scenery under the sea, he talked about how beautiful the six sisters of the Little Mermaid were, how majestic the Sea Emperor was, how kind the Little Mermaid's grandmother was, and how she loved the seven Little Mermaids. Lady Loriss couldn't help but show a smiling expression, obviously thinking that Carl was secretly changing the concept and moving the daily life of ordinary families on the ground to the royal family under the sea, with a little bit of the emperor's golden flat burden. And Heidi, the Little Mermaid, is a face of reminiscence and admiration, which is obviously the story of this family relationship, which evokes her memories of a similar life.

When Carl talks about the Little Mermaid's curiosity about the human world, she sneaks out to the surface of the sea, peeks at human ships and balls, and looks at the bright lights of the big cities on the coast. Mrs. Loris had a look that was indeed so, apparently having guessed the development of the plot. Heidi, the Little Mermaid, listened with wide eyes and listened, clearly drawn to the story.

When Karl tells of the Little Mermaid diving down the river into the interior and seeing the prince's palace, when he first met the beautiful prince. Mrs. Loris finally became interested, and looked interested. And Heidi, the little mermaid, quietly pricked up her ears, and her face was red and fell into some kind of reverie.

Carl unhurriedly tells the story of "The Daughter of the Sea", as the story progresses, the prince goes to sea and encounters a shipwreck, and is rescued by the Little Mermaid, but because he is afraid of revealing his identity, he hides behind the reef, making the prince mistakenly think that he was saved by the princess of the neighboring country, so he falls in love with the princess of the neighboring country. Such a twist and turn of affection suddenly captured the hearts of Lady Loris and Heidi the Little Mermaid, and made them listen very attentively.
