Chapter 50: Yin and Yang Eyes

The stairs from the second floor to the third floor are at the very end of the second floor. However, when I got there, I found that the stairs were locked, and not only could I not go up to the third floor, but I could not go down to the first floor.

What's going on? Could it be that this staircase is not allowed to pass?

I had just come up from the other end of the hallway, so I turned around and went back to where I had gone upstairs. However, the door that went up the stairs to the third floor was also locked.

When was this locked? Was it locked in the first place, or was it just now?

I had no choice but to go down to the first floor again.

I walked out of the school building, but when I went out, I found that the glass door of the school building was intact! On the ground, there are no shards of glass that I have broken, what is going on? I didn't even hit that door just now, but wasn't it clear that I was injured?

I rolled up my sleeves, only to find that there was no wound on my arm.

Impossible, how did my wound heal so quickly? Moreover, not even a trace was left?

I touched my face again, and there was no trace of the glass shards.

Hell yes!

At this point, I was scared, quickened my pace, and walked down the stairs.

Outside, there was still a thick white fog. I don't know what terrible things are hidden in that fog, but I don't have a choice now.

However, as soon as I got down to the bottom of the steps, I suddenly remembered the scene when the female student jumped down the stairs from the classroom in the second (third) class of junior high school.

So, is it really just my hallucination? However, I saw the girl go up to the school building, and the man in black followed her.

However, the two stairs leading from the second floor to the third floor were locked, and I didn't see the man in black again in this second floor, and the female student, inexplicably, jumped off the building?

The thought of that little girl with the face of an old lady and a smile at me made my heart chuckle.

That smile is really terrible, I don't want to see that face again in my life!

I changed my mind and decided I wanted to take a look at the back of the building. I'm going to see if anyone jumped from the stairs just now, was that just my hallucination, or was it really something that happened?

So, I went around the side of the building and then to the back of it, and searched carefully.

Behind the school building, there is a very ordinary cement road. At the edge of the ditch, there are still tall weeds, and it seems that no one has taken care of them for a long time. I smelled a foul odor that seemed to come from the stinking gutter.

Not far away, there is a path parallel to the teaching building, and on the side of the road, there are a few small trees with crooked necks. Beyond that, there is the school's athletic field, and in the fog, I can still see the yellow track over there, and in the fog, it looks like a little yellow mud in the white clouds. And there is a layer of barbed wire between the path and the athletic field, which is probably used to prevent the soccer balls from flying out of the football field, perhaps to prevent students from easily getting into the athletic field.

I haven't considered going to the track and field field yet, although the map shows that crossing the track and field is the shortest way to get to the school gate. But now, I still want to find out first: Did that girl jump from the stairs?

I even suspected that she might have jumped down, but she didn't die, she wasn't even injured, but she hit the ground and ran away, so I didn't see anyone down there. However, there are probably not many people in the world who are so agile, right?

However, after searching for a long time, I still didn't find any traces of the girl jumping down. I couldn't even find the broken cactus pot.

How is this possible? Who's going to clean up the pieces of those pots, that's too fast, right? Could it be that even the cactus pot didn't exist at all, and it didn't fall from it? What I see, is it just an illusion?

So, I looked up and looked up to the second floor.

The position where I am standing now is directly below the classroom of the second (third) class of junior high school. The window in the middle of the classroom was still open, and there were two flower pots on the leftmost and rightmost windowsills, but there were no flowerpots on the middle windowsill, that is, on the windowsill where the schoolgirl jumped.

So, did the pot ever fall?

Just when I was puzzled, suddenly, I saw that by the windowsill, a hand was stretched out!

I was startled, and when I looked at it again, my face turned pale with fright!

It was a black-gloved hand, and it was already on the edge of the window!

Black gloves? Men in Black!

My heart seemed to be lifted by something, and my hands and feet were frozen!

The man in black is still upstairs? Moreover, he is in the classroom of the second (third) class of junior high school? He didn't leave, he was in that school building all along?

And then, no, the black-gloved hands, slammed the open window shut!

Oh no, this man in black is upstairs! Just look down and he'll see mine! Has he already discovered me?

At this point, it's impossible for me to stay here anymore, I have to run on Malaysia Airlines!

But where do I go? Do you want to go back to the front of the school building the same way you came? That wouldn't work, if that guy ran down the stairs as well, wouldn't I get hit by him?

I turned my head and looked at the path behind me, and at the barbed wire.

Behind the barbed wire, there is still a field shrouded in white mist.

It seems that I can only run through the barbed wire and into the track and field now.

Although it would have been easier for me to expose my target when I ran into the empty track field, fortunately, with the fog covering, the man in black probably wouldn't have spotted me so quickly.

But how do I climb over that barbed wire? It's so high, you can't climb it again, right?

I didn't have time to think about it, so I had to bite the bullet and run towards the barbed wire.

When I ran to it, I realized that although the barbed wire fence was very high, there was a small door in the middle that had not been closed.

God help me! So, I pushed open the small door and went into the athletic field.

The track of the track and field was empty, and although the fog obscured most of the stands in the distance, I could still see the dividing line on the track, and the goal at the end of the football field, which had no net.

In the thick fog, I couldn't tell the direction and felt a little dazed.

Since I couldn't find a building that I could recognize, I had to search for it based on my own feelings.

As I walked, I thought to myself.

Just now, didn't the female student who ran up the school building jump from the window on the second floor at all? If she hadn't jumped from there, then, where would she be?

The entire second floor, except for the classrooms of the second (third) class of junior high school, is open, and the other classrooms have been locked, and even the windows have been closed from the inside. Obviously, the girl couldn't have gone into any other classroom. Of course, it was impossible for her to go up to the third floor, because the passage from the second floor to the third floor was also locked, and she couldn't go up at all.

So, will she go downstairs again? Again, it was impossible, because I came up from the first floor, where there was only one way down to the first floor, and if she had gone downstairs, I would have bumped into her in the hallway.

Unless, she hides in the women's bathroom?

Yes, the only thing I didn't search for on the entire second floor was the women's bathroom. It is very likely that the girl went into the women's toilet, and the girl I saw jumping off the building in the second (third) class of junior high school was actually just an illusion. The man in black also entered the classroom of the second (third) class of junior high school, and he should have found nothing.

Damn, why don't I go to the women's restroom and look for it again? Perhaps, the girl is hiding in the squatting pit of the women's bathroom, behind the wooden door, and even now, she is still there!

If she was still there, would the men in black find her?

Thinking of this, I stopped and turned my head.

Over there, it's barbed wire, and beyond that, it's the school building. If I go back at this time, maybe I will have a chance to find the female student hiding in the women's restroom.

However, I thought of another possibility.

How could there be female students entering the school building at such a late hour? Could it be that she went inside just to go to the toilet on the second floor?

No, no, it can't be.

Could it be that she is not a living person at all, but a ghost?

Ghost?

I was reminded of the fire that occurred at St. Mary's English School, in which more than 150 lives were burned

There are a lot of female students! Before, in the school cafeteria, I used to see those youthful female students, they were actually ghosts! Also, the chef in the cafeteria, he's also a ghost!

That's right, it's so late, it's not a ghost who can wander around this school, so what? The girl who went up to the school building must be a ghost!

But if she's a ghost, why did the Man in Black follow her?

Suddenly, I realized a mistake in my own assumption.

Probably influenced by the murder of the schoolgirl, I saw the man in black as a wanted criminal, so when I saw him following the schoolgirl, I naturally thought of the two of them as the relationship between the victim and the wanted criminal.

However, if the girl was just a ghost, the man in black didn't seem to see her, and he didn't need to follow a ghost.

Could it be that the man in black didn't follow anyone at all, he just went upstairs secretly by himself, and there was no one in front of him, only a ghost?

I thought back to the man's actions at that time, yes, he was indeed a little sneaky, but that action was not necessarily a stalking, more likely just a sign of vigilance, fear of being discovered.

But if that guy can't see ghosts, why can I? Could it be that I have yin and yang eyes?

The thought of this froze.

Along the way, I was constantly entangled in all kinds of hallucinations and saw many ghosts. I thought I had taken the hallucinogens from the ghost hospital, which is why I had this hallucination. However, if it is explained by "yin and yang eyes" or psychic constitution, all this seems to be easy to understand.

I, I actually have yin and yang eyes, I, can I actually see ghosts?

So, how many ghosts are there in this school?

Thinking of this, I looked around again.

The surroundings were still foggy, and I was the only one on the huge track and field.

I'm scared, I'm afraid to see the ghosts or the three-headed dogs, especially the three-headed dogs, if they're creatures from hell, then I can see them, it only means a little bit.

I, or someone who can see ghosts and hellhounds, or, myself, a ghost······
