Chapter 353: Talismans
The sword was engrossed in controlling the light of the text and washed away towards the foggy building.
When the fairy Ling Yao next to her saw it, she didn't say much, took out the compass with her right hand, and began to fiddle with it.
The positioning of Feng Shui is very important, and she can at least contain the Five Elements Dao Technique of the Five Colored Heavens.
Master Xuandu took out the talisman from his sleeve, and with words in his mouth, the mysterious talisman emitted a golden light and shot straight towards the foggy platform.
Fu Gong is a kind of spell in the Daomen, also known as "Fu Zi", "Mo Zheng", "Dan Shu".
Fu Gong is a combination of Fu and įŽ.
The art of talisman originated from witchcraft.
Therefore, there is a saying that "Henan Lingsheng Qing, good at Dan Shufu, impeachment and mission to kill ghosts and gods".
The ideological basis of the talisman is the belief in ghosts and gods, and those who claim that it has the effect of summoning gods and impeaching ghosts, suppressing demons and subduing demons are not credible, and those who occasionally say that they have "small tests" when used to cure diseases are not because they expel the "ghosts" that cause diseases, and there may be other reasons.
It is speculated that some patients with mild illness have a psychological situation in which the ghost has been driven away and the disease has been expelled after drinking the talisman water because they believe in the talisman and drink the talisman water.
Fei Changfang learned from the medicine seller, who was also known as the pot man.
He made a talisman and said, "With this lord of the earth, the ghosts and gods can heal all diseases, flog all ghosts, and drive the community." â
Later, because he lost his charm, he was killed by all the ghosts.
In the process of teaching talisman for a long time, Daomen has created a variety of talisman methods and made many talisman books.
The created talismans are difficult to count, and the styles of talismans are strange.
It can be summarized into the following four categories:
1. Reply. Most of them are composed of two or more small characters, and a few are formed by the combination of multiple horizontal and vertical twisted strokes.
Second, the cloud seal. It is said to be the heavenly book of the manifestation of the gods, which is actually a talisman made by imitating the changing shape of the sky and clouds or the body of an ancient seal.
3. Spiritual runes and treasure talismans. A graphic made up of more complex dotted lines.
Fourth, the symbolic diagram. A talisman made of the image of the god and the rune combined. There are also many such talismans, and they have also been found in ancient tomb excavations.
Daomen talismans are widely used.
It is used to heal the sick: either the Danshu talisman is put on paper, burned and dissolved in water, so that the sick can drink it, or the talisman is sealed and the sick wear.
It is used to exorcise ghosts and evil spirits: wear it on its body, or stick it on the door of the dormitory.
It is used for disaster relief and disaster relief: or the Fu Gong will be thrown into the river embankment to stop the flood, or the book Fu will be called to relieve the drought, etc.
As for the Taoist priests to do the ritual of fasting and Jiao, they are inseparable from the talismans, or the calligraphy on the chapter table, playing the gods, or using the talisman to summon the gods and order them to kill the ghosts, or using the talisman to take care of the underworld and refine the souls of the dead.
Inside and outside the entire mandala, all kinds of talismans are posted and hung.
As for swallowing talisman water to cure diseases, this is similar to medical psychotherapy, which does not work on the talisman itself, but on the positive psychological state triggered by the talisman, prompting the body to mobilize its defense mechanism to overcome the disease.
Fu Gong is "the essence of the Tao, the simple ink of the cloth, and the essence of things." â
Some Taoist priests and qi refiners are lucky to use them to cure diseases, which may produce certain curative effects. The Taoist book says: "There is no positive form, and the spirit is spirited." â
The talisman technique is the main practice of the Daomen Zhengyi.
There is a so-called "Three Mountains Fu" said, that is, Maoshan Shangqing faction, Gesoap Mountain Lingbao faction, Longhu Mountain Heavenly Master Dao.
Fu is the secret magic weapon of communication between man and God, so it is not just can be scribbled, so there is the so-called "draw the charm without knowing the trick, but provoke the ghosts and gods to laugh;
There are hundreds of ways to draw talismans, some of them have to pinch the trick and think that the gods come with the pen, and some of them have to step on the gang and recite mantras......
It is very exquisite in laying simple ink, moving pens, etc., and its procedures are complex and cumbersome, which is enough to make good men and women dizzy.
Chinese cultivators believe that charms, as the foundation of the five techniques of mountain, medicine, divination, life and physiognomy, are the medium and channel for the monks to communicate with the heavens.
The charm is composed of "talisman head", "talisman belly", "talisman foot", "talisman gall" and so on.
If we use the talisman as a metaphor for a person, the talisman is like a person's head, the main deity is like a person's mind and heart, the belly of the talisman is like the stomach of an abdomen, which is the place where we write the talisman function, the talisman foot is like a person's foot, the talisman is like a person's liver and gallbladder, and if a talisman does not have a talisman gall, it is like a door without a lock, and bad people can enter it at will.
Therefore, the talisman has a very important position for the talisman.
Since ancient times, there have been many sects of talismans, but each worships its ancestor and is different, which is why the code of its talisman is also different.
For example, the common "three hooks" on many runes are the marks that represent the Yuqing Yuan Shi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun, Taiqing Daode Tianzun or Chenghuang, land, and ancestors.
The three hooks represent the three Qings on the whole symbol, and those under the edict and the name of the gods represent the Three Realms. When writing this "three hooks", you should secretly recite the mantra: "One stroke moves the world, two strokes of the ancestor sword, and three strokes of fierce gods and evil spirits go thousands of miles away." â
One stroke and one sentence must be just right, which is the so-called "stepping on the talisman head".
The "talisman head" also has an edict, a thunder order......
and so on as the head of the talisman, its variety, due to the different sects are different, generally please God, dispatch troops, many books to the "edict" as the head of the talisman.
If there is no "three hooks" and three clear symbols, you must curse: "The sky is round and the place is round, the law is nine chapters, I write now, and ten thousand ghosts are hidden." That's it.
Fu gall is the soul of a talisman and the master of the talisman, and whether a talisman can give full play depends to a large extent on whether there is a talisman to guard it.
The book talisman is generally called the entry of the talisman gall, and the meaning of the talisman is to invite the gods to sit in this talisman and guard the portal of this talisman.
The common character is the word "Gang", there are also the word "well", there are also the word "horse", and the word "Hua" is too numerous to mention.
But what does it mean to be bold?
The talisman is made up of a number of secret characters.
"Fork talisman foot", used to end the talisman gall, to end the writing procedures of a talisman, it also has an extremely important position.
The procedure of the drawing ceremony has a certain procedure for drawing the symbols, and it must not be simple and the order reversed. From a general point of view, the altar must be set up for the painting of the symbols, and there is a so-called "general altar style".
The general mantra in the general altar style is written with the gods that Taoist priests usually believe in - the land, the city god, the Eastern Green Emperor, the Southern Red Emperor, the Western White Emperor, the Northern Black Emperor, the Vermilion Bird General, the Xuanwu General, the Black Killing General, etc., such as the general charm in the general altar diagram set up by the ancient Taoist priests when drawing the talismans.
The Taoist priests also had to build an altar and make two seals of the Emperor of Heaven.
These two seals are carved on the altar, both before and after. There are also those that do not have a "general altar style" or an altar, such as "please immortal method" and so on.
When inviting the immortals, offer three plates of fruit, three teas, and three wines to the shrine of the main hall house... , or temporarily set up in a certain direction outside the house, equivalent to the dining table of the table.
Before drawing the talismans, one should first purify one's mind - concentrate, be sincere, clear distracting thoughts, concentrate on one's thoughts, and purify one's body, face, hands, and mouth, and prepare offerings such as fruits, rice wine, incense and candles, as well as pen and ink, cinnabar, yellow cloth, etc. For these supplies, the Taoist priest first used a divine spell to make it have divine power.
1. Pen mantra: The five thunder gods will burn the light, and Warner will save his life, and the ghosts will be bound to subdue the evil spirits, and all the dead and alive will be destroyed, and my immortality is as urgent as the law.
2. Water Mantra: This water is not extraordinary, the water in the north is a little bit of water in the inkstone, the clouds and rain must be swallowed by the sick, and the diseases will be eliminated, and the evil ghosts will be swallowed and swallowed like a crush, and the urgency will be like a law.
3. The time taboo of drawing talismans is the auspicious day of drawing talismans and making talismans, and the drawing of talismans is mostly held on this day. This is especially true for drawing exorcist charms. There are four days of the year when you should not scribble on the symbols, and if you draw them on these four days, it will not only be ineffective, but also harmful.
These four days are the ninth day of the third month, the second day of the sixth month of the sixth month, the sixth day of the ninth month, and the second day of the twelfth month of the lunar calendar. It is best to choose sub-time or hai-time for drawing symbols.
It is said that at this time it is the time when the yang disappears and the yin and yang are long, and the aura is the heaviest, and it can also be used at noon, mao, and unitary.
The rune is the text of the dragon chapter and the phoenix, and the word of the spiritual rune. Daomen believes that this kind of symbolic writing is imitated by the Qi of the "Three Yuan, Five Virtues and Eight Meetings" in the sky, and naturally formed the "Heavenly Book and Cloud Qi".
According to legend, the Taoist gate charm first came from the Yellow Emperor's "Cloud Book". The Yellow Emperor is good at making cloud books, so he takes clouds as the discipline. "Cloud calligraphy" is a kind of calligraphy with flowing clouds as the main simulation object.
The ancients believed that the gods were in the form of clouds or seals, so the monks and Taoist priests recorded it, which was the rune.
The calligrapher "uses the essence of the Tao to black, the cloth to be simple and ink, and the essence of the things to be black, but can be evil and false, auxiliary to the truth, the church spirits, control life and death, maintain the fortune, and settle the five directions." â
That is to say, the Taoist priest draws the rune, which has the magical effect of summoning the gods and impeaching the ghosts, suppressing the evil and helping the right, eliminating disasters and diseases, and blessing peace.
The content of the runes is generally the name, appearance, and spell of the gods.
Runes are information channels that use ideas as carriers to communicate the relationship between humans and gods.
The Taoist people believe that the talisman is extremely important and mysterious to the Taoist priest, and it is the password to communicate with the heavenly gods.
Although the Daomen talisman has a strong mysterious color, from the formal point of view, the talisman is also an abstract form of text art.
The early Daomen talisman was basically formed on the basis of the official script, which was a combination of several characters in the official script of the Han Dynasty.
Therefore, the drawing of symbols has become a Taoist calligraphy with a unique meaning.
But the talisman is not the product of the Taoist priest's arbitrariness, but a unique text with certain rules.
Therefore, there is a saying that "the case is passed down from one to another, and there are hundreds of words in the book of the emperor, the emperor of the earth, and the emperor of the people, and the text is still there, like a sigil, but not its sound is transmitted".
There are 32 kinds of Daomen rune scripts, including "Wenwen", "Yunqi", "Eight Bodies and Six Books", "Symbols", "Eight Manifests", "Jade Character Jue", "Huangwen Emperor Book", "Heavenly Book", "Dragon Chapter", "Fengwen", "Jade Golden Book", "Stone Characters", "Inscriptions", "Jade Characters", "Jade Script", "Wensheng Khmer", "Jade Chapter", "Danshu", "Jade Ce", "Book of Good Fortune", "Silver Edition", "Red Book", "Fire Refining True Text", "Golden Pot Ink Characters", "Qiongza", "Purple Characters", "Nature's Words", "Huicheng Words", "Lang Jianxin Book", "Shi Shuo", "Lang Jianrui Book" and so on.
These calligraphy of the Daomen are like heavenly books for ordinary people, unrecognizable, and the calligraphy of the Daomen Fangshi is wonderful, but the words are unreadable. His books are white and not true, and his pen gestures are strong, and he cannot pass on his learning.
It can be seen that the Daomen talisman has its own system and requirements, which is not only an integral part of the traditional Chinese script, but also different from the general script.
Its bold breakthrough in words and imaginative changes make the Taoist symbols have undeniable aesthetic value.
