Chapter 15 of the Year of Tranquility

The melodious melody lurks with a demonic light

Electricity passed through my trembling fingers

Clear, bright as the sky gathers the light of my eyes

The wisps of fragrant fragrance intoxicated my heart

I climbed the stairs and didn't know where I was

Step by step to the depths of the clouds

A quiet temple

The strings are swirling

That moment

I stopped and became a big tree with a blue sky above my head

With tears in my eyes, I was glad to see the homeland of my previous life

That moment

I am greedy, my eyes are blue, the sky is blue, and the white clouds are long

That moment

I was fascinated by the chirping of birds and the singing of the woods

Looking back, the road is blue and the clouds are deep

The affectionate loess kept me lingering

The scroll of the Scriptures delighted my longing eyes

Shut down the bustling flow of people

My heart is as clear as a murmuring river

Throughout the ages, there have been constant fights between sects, some of which are even cold and bloody. Each of these sects reveres its own "Creator" and believes that its own God is the only "Creator" in the world. Ya thinks so, there is only one "God" in the world, no one really witnesses the dignity of God, and the image of "God" in the minds of people in different regions is different, but God hopes that the heart of justice and kindness in the world is eternal.

Ya Zeng came to a simple and solemn temple, and when the deep and melodious guqin sound came from the temple, Ya couldn't help but cry......

The sound of the guqin is like a clear spring

The melodious heart turned into a wisp of smoke

Follow melodious melodies

Winding around the beams and dancing in the clouds

The blue background of the sky

Caressing the veil of the sleeves waving by the thin clouds

The gaze is drunk in the depths of the clouds

A long staircase, step by step

The carved railings are solemn with silent nerves

I don't know where I am

The solemn traction in the depths of the clouds

The sound of the piano is intoxicating, and I bow to the incense

The Father's warm eyes bathe me

Looking up, I burst into tears

There was a chanting sound, a familiar voice in a dream

Suddenly, an electric current hit, and my whole body trembled

Tears suddenly spread across my cheeks, and the sobbing could not be stopped

Whether it is joy or sorrow, it is unbridled for no reason

I weep like an aggrieved child in front of my mother

I am like a wanderer who has suffered all the sufferings of the world

In the loving eyes of the mother, there was a cry of sorrow

The road was covered with thorns and red feet of blood

The aggrieved heart is full of holes and fragments

The tired skeleton holds itself up with a strong coat

I held the ethereal hand of my Heavenly Father, and I couldn't bear to leave

Secluded mountain forests, solemn temples

The caress of blue sky, white clouds, and sunshine

Wan Lai is accompanied by melodious piano sounds

The daughter of the sea returns to the embrace of the sea

I couldn't walk away

I'd rather spend the rest of my life cleaning up the courtyard

I would rather have the sound of the piano scroll long with the morning and dusk

I don't know how many people are able to memorize the Bible perfectly, and the Jews allow their children to learn the Bible from an early age and become proficient in memorizing it by the age of seven. It is said that a person who can read a book a hundred times is not a mediocre person. As a result, the Jews produced many outstanding people, such as the scientist Albert Einstein and Warren Buffett.

When Ya was in middle school, she had read the famous book "Red and Black", and she was impressed by the protagonist Yu Lian, an ambitious little person who memorized the Bible by heart in order to achieve his ambition to climb up. So he became a priest, met a lady and a lady who adored him, and his tragic life began......

The word "Bible" is derived from the Greek word meaning "a set of little books." It is not a single book, but a combined edition of many volumes, a compilation of works by different authors from different eras. The Bible is a general term for the Jewish and Christian scriptures, and what we usually call the Bible now generally refers to the Christian scriptures. The first part of the Bible was originally the Jewish scriptures, and later it was inherited by Christianity and called the Old Testament. The latter part is unique to Christianity and is called the New Testament. Therefore, the present Chinese Bible is called the Old and New Testaments.

When the word "Bible" was first translated into Chinese, the translator called the book "Sutra" in accordance with the tradition of calling important works "Sutra" in China, and preceded it with the word "holy", so the name "Bible" was born, and the word "Bible" became the proper name of this Christian classic.

Years ago, Jacques bought a book called "Bible Stories" that tells the story of what happened in the Bible more intuitively.

To understand the Bible, we need to know the term "Bi-Greek civilization", that is, the Hebrew civilization based on the Bible and the Greek civilization based on mythology, so that the two can be integrated.

Since the creation of human beings, until today in 2015, God has made one pact after another with human beings, but the loose human beings have broken one contract after another. God is magnanimous and has made people re-sign contracts with him seven times before and after. The Bible tells the story of the seven old covenants (the Old Testament) and the new covenants that people are keeping (the New Testament) today.

One. Covenant of Eden. The Garden of Eden, which we are most familiar with, was the first event of a covenant break.

"The LORD God made man out of the dust of the land, and breathed life into his nostrils, and he became a living soul, whose name was Adam" ---Genesis 2:7.

At this time, God created the first man in the world, Adam; And out of Adam's rib he created the first woman, Eve. At that time, God made a covenant with Adam: not to eat the forbidden fruit of the Garden of Eden! If you eat it, you will die! But Eve was deceived by a serpent in the garden and ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. She was ashamed to see herself and Adam naked. When God came to the garden, she took Adam's hand and hid behind a tree. God was so angry that he expelled them from the Garden of Eden, the promised land, and cursed all things in heaven and earth--- women would suffer from childbirth, and men would have to toil all their lives to have food.

Two. The Covenant of Adam. God remembered that Adam and Eve were deceived by serpents, so he gave Adam and Eve a second covenant: to promise that the seed of the woman would become the redeemer --- Christ. Then something unfortunate happened: God witnessed Adam's eldest son, Cain, kill his own brother. In the West, this story is often referred to as "the first murder in human history". God was disappointed that he saw the wickedness of man on earth and that all his thoughts were evil all the time. So God decided to overthrow the whole world and rebuild a new one. So there is the story of the flood and Noah's ark.

Three. Noah's Covenant. God said to Noah, "Go and build a great ark, and take your family, birds, beasts, and animals, one male and one male, and follow the ark away from the flood." This leads to the third covenant between man and God. The descendants of Noah, who spoke the same language (said to be Adam), lived happily together. The arrogant and arrogant people, in order to "make a name for themselves," began to build a city and a tower, and the Tower of Babel reached to the sky. This angered God, and in order to destroy this plan of mankind, God changed and differentiated the language of the people so that they could no longer communicate with each other. Humanity's plan failed, and since then it has been scattered. Faced with man's habit of breaking the contract, doing evil, and greed, God decided to change the terms of the contract. Since making a covenant with all mankind is not effective, make a covenant with a small number of God's chosen people.

Four. The Abrahamic Covenant. God finally chose Abraham, and Abraham was tested again and again by God for his faithfulness......

Test 1: Abraham had a precious son, Isaac, who was very fond of him. One day God called Abraham to kill his son and sacrifice him. When he was about to kill his son with a sword, an angel said, "This is God's training for you, and we know that you fear God, and here is a sheep, sacrifice it with it." Abraham thus succeeded in ascending to the throne as God's agent on earth.

Second test: God allowed Abraham's descendants to "sojourn in other people's land and serve the natives for 400 years." As a result, the nomadic family migrated from Mesopotamia to Egypt to survive the famine at God's behalf. At first, life in Egypt was intoxicating, but the Egyptian pharaoh slowly discovered that this group of foreigners multiplied too quickly, so the pharaoh began a cruel policy: let them do hard labor, exhausting their physical strength; and ordered the killing of all male babies in order to curb the growth of the population.

Five. The Mosaic Covenant. In this way, after 400 years of suffering, God saw that everyone was suffering about the same, so he chose Moses, a descendant of Abraham, as the new leader to lead God's people out of slavery and freedom from slavery! Moses rescued the suffering Israelites from Egypt and freed them from slavery. Under his leadership, the group left Egypt in a mighty way.

After passing all these tests, God felt that "believing" was too vain and that it was necessary to make clear and unambiguous laws and commandments. So he passed on the 10 commandments to Moses. The "Ten Commandments of Moses" are inscribed on two stone tablets, which created the age of the Law and became the core morality of Western civilization. This stone tablet was later placed in the "Ark of the Covenant" used for documents, but such an important cabinet suddenly disappeared later, becoming a great mystery in the archaeological world. But some restless self-keepers feel that God is too strict and want to trust other gods. So God called Moses and asked, "Do you remember the land that was promised to his ancestor Abraham --- Palestine?"

Six. The Covenant of Palestine. So Moses led the Israelites to endure for 40 years in the dry desert. It was not until after the death of Moses that they slowly returned to Palestine. In this Promised Land, God made a new covenant with these Israelites.

Seven. The Davidic Covenant. God said that the land was good, and it was not until David that it was really handed over. Many people know the story of David, who killed the giant Goliath with a stone. It was all because God possessed him that he was transformed into King David. But David has a shortcoming in that he is lustful, not only does he peek at a married woman taking a bath, but he also seduces her to do something shameful, and he designs to poison her husband, which causes God's wrath.

Although David had the courage to admit his mistake and the death penalty could be avoided, punishment and curse could not be escaped! David had four sons who died unexpectedly, and in his later years, there was a family tragedy. The son rebelled, and a daughter and ten concubines were defiled......

In the face of repeated breaches, God decided not to pursue the sins of the previous representatives, and wrote them off and re-contracted--- the era of the new covenant came......

Christ's Covenant (New Testament): God gave birth to his Son Jesus (fulfilling the promise of the Second Testament: being born as a seed of a woman) by setting an example and making atonement for the sins of all who had gone before him.

The main story of the Bible is probably the seven covenants mentioned above......
