Matthew 28

Matthew 28

28:1 And it came to pass, after the Sabbath, at dawn on Sunday, that Mary Magdalene went with another Mary to the graveyard to see.

28:2 And suddenly there was a strong earthquake, and the angel of the Lord came down from heaven, and rolled the stone away, and sat on it.

28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his garments were as white as snow.

28:4 The guards trembled with terror like dead men.

28:5 Then the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified."

28:6 He is not here, but as he says, he is risen. Come here, and see where he is laid.

28:7Go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has risen from the dead, and he will go to Galilee before you; There, you will meet him! Remember what I have told you. ”

28:8 And the women hurried out of the graveyard, and ran to report to his disciples in astonishment and with great joy.

28:9 Suddenly, Jesus appeared on the road and said to them, "Peace be with you!" They came up to him and embraced his feet, and worshipped him.

28:10 Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid, go and tell my brothers that they may go to Galilee; There, they will meet me. ”

……

28:16 And the eleven disciples came into the territory of Galilee, to the mountain on which Jesus had commanded them to go.

28:17 When they saw Jesus, they all bowed down to him. But there are still people who have doubts in their hearts.

28:18 Jesus approached them and said to them: "God has given me all authority in heaven and on earth.

28:19 Go therefore into all the world, and make disciples of all men; baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

28:20 And teach them to obey all the commandments I have given you. Remember! I will always be with you until the end of the world. ”
