1.4.3.1 "Ordinary granular rubber" is a layer of non-foaming natural rubber or synthetic rubber, the particles of which must be distributed throughout the surface with an average density of not less than 10 and no more than 50 particles per square centimeter.

1.4.7 Due to accidental damage, wear or fading, there is a slight difference in the integrity and color consistency of the surface. As long as there is no significant change in the performance of the paddle, it can be used.

1.6 Legal Serve
1.6.1 When serving, the ball should be placed on the palm of the hand that is not holding the racket, with the palm open and flat. The ball shall be stationary, after the end line of the serving side and above the level of the match surface.
1.6.2 The server shall toss the ball almost vertically upwards with his hand without spinning the ball and causing the ball to rise by not less than 16 cm after leaving the palm of the non-clapping hand.
1.6.3 When the ball descends from the highest point of the toss, the server may make a stroke so that the ball first touches the local table, then crosses or bypasses the net device, and then touches the receiving player's table. In doubles, the ball should touch the right half of the server and receiver in succession.
1.6.4 From the last moment when the ball is at rest before the ball is dropped to the time of impact, the ball and racket shall be above the level of the playing table.

1.6.6.1 If the referee doubts the correctness of a serving action and neither he nor the assistant referee can be satisfied that the serving action is illegal, the referee may warn the serving player and not award a point if this phenomenon occurs for the first time in a match.
1.6.6.2 In the same match, if the correctness of the player's serve is again doubted, whether or not for the same reason, no more warning is awarded and one point is lost.
1.6.6.3 Whether or not for the first time or at any time, if the server clearly fails to serve in accordance with the rules of the legal serve, he will be awarded a point without warning.
