About Zhang Sanfeng in history, his real name is Zhang Quanyi, also known as Zhang Junbao, Sanfeng is his Taoist name, because he is unkempt, he is also known as a sloppy Taoist. There are different theories about the era of his life, some call him a Song person, some call him a Jin person, and some say that he is a Yuan person and a Ming person. Probably because he is very famous in Taoist legends, he was brought out to be the ancestor of the Wudang faction. This statement is obviously just the Wudang faction to deify itself, not the truth of history.

The official spread of the Wudang sect began around the Ming Dynasty. Although the Taoist temple was built in Wudang Mountain in the Tang Dynasty, the real golden age was in the Ming Dynasty. Ming Chengzu Zhu Di ascended the throne, admired Wudang Taoism, and mobilized 300,000 migrant workers; It took 13 years to build 33 buildings in Wudang Mountain, known as the Eight Palaces, the Second View, the Thirty-six Nunnery, the Seventy-two Rock Temple, the Twelve Ancestral Hall, the Twelve Pavilions, the Thirty-Nine Bridges, etc., stretching for 140 miles, and the architectural pattern is designed by the Ministry of Engineering according to the story of the true martial arts cultivating immortals in the scriptures. So far, there is still the handwriting of the 11th year of Yongle (1413) and the 12th year of the Holy King on the beam of the main hall of Zixiao official in Wudang Mountain. On the cliff of the three-day gate, there are four big characters of "a pillar of optimus", which is magnificent. Tianzhu Peak Taihe Palace is also called the Golden Palace, and the palace enshrines Zhang Sanfeng's bronze gilt sitting statue. The golden age of Wudang Taoism began at this time, and the martial arts sect of Wudang was also produced in this golden age.

According to the "Wang Zhengnan Epitaph", the earliest teaching of the inner family boxing is recorded in the Shaanxi Wang Zong, Wang Zong passed on Wenzhou Chenzhou Tong, to Zhang Songxi's hands then Wei Daguan, Zhang Songxi, Zhengde first year (1506) was born in Wenzhou, Ming Guangzong Taichang first year (1620) died in Yuping, Guizhou. Zhang Songxi claimed to be the true biography of Zhang Sanfeng and was the third generation of the Wudang faction. He later traveled to Jiangqian, and obtained the true inheritance of Emei, and founded the Wudang Songxi faction, which has been famous since then. Legend has it that there were 70 Shaolin monks who were not convinced, came to challenge, Songxi sat with his hands in his hands, and did not move, a monk suddenly jumped up from mid-air, performed a chain leg method, and wanted to break its qigong with Shaolin stunts. Songxi was still calm, only at the moment when the Shaolin monk's offensive was approaching, he raised his hand slightly sideways, and the Shaolin monk suddenly lost his castration like a broken kite, flew out of the window, and landed under the tall building. Since then, no one has been dissatisfied with the Wudang boxing method. After Zhang Songxi, the Wudang faction was full of talents. A large number of martial arts masters have been produced.

Wudang Gongfa pays attention to "35 practitioners, 18 practitioners", and there are the so-called 72 falls, 35 palms, six roads and 18 methods, 12 characters, and five words of heart.

The boxing routines of the Wudang school include Taijiquan, Wuji Boxing, Harrier Yu Changquan, Ape Mixed Boxing, Six Steps Sanshou, Wudang Taiyi Five Elements Boxing, etc. The internal strength of the Wudang faction includes six styles of "washing the marrow of the golden scriptures" (golden lion grabbing hair, phoenix nodding, wind swinging lotus leaves, left winding gold wire, right winding gold wire, knife splitting Huashan) and so on. The equipment of the Wudang faction is the first to recommend the Wudang sword, the treasure of Wudang Zhenshan, and the white rainbow sword, Taiji sword, Liuhe gun, Liuhe knife, Songxi stick, etc. The formation of the Wudang faction, in martial arts, is often mentioned as the Nine Palace Bagua Array, the Sancai Sword Array, etc.

Shaolin comes from Buddhism and has the color of Tianzhu culture. Wudang comes from Xuanmen Taoism, and the color of the Chinese book is very strong. Shaolin Kung Fu contains the principles of Buddhist compassion. Here, on the one hand, it is the internal strength of the mind, on the other hand, it is the figurative posture, lotus, breeze, flowing water, flying clouds, which make people seem to want to see the empty and clear spirit of the Wudang Taoist realm; The tricks sway from side to side, continuously, and seem to make people think of the supreme mystery of "one life two, two give birth to three, and three give birth to all things", and think of the power of nature when the heaven and earth first opened.
