In fact, although the band is not well-known outside, it is definitely well-known in the circle. More than ten years later, the band can be called one of the best post-rock bands in China, and once guided the development of China's post-rock music.

Their tunes are very distinctive, almost all of them are pure music. And the reason why they play pure music is very interesting, because the lead singer Xie Yugang doesn't like to speak, he doesn't open his mouth and there is no suitable lead singer, so after listening to "An American Prayer Person", the brothers discussed it one by one, okay, don't want the lead singer at all, let's play pure music.

Yu Shan knew that the band had just met Xie Yu, when Yu Shan had just graduated and Xie Yugang was still working in the shipyard. The dream of this chef buddy is very realistic, forming a band to go to song halls and bars to make money. Lao Xie finally sent the cook away and continued to look for it. One day, Lao Xie saw a boy with long hair in school, very rock and roll, and he studied chemistry when he inquired, but he didn't know any musical instruments. Lao Xie was stunned and persuaded this person to learn to play drums and form a band together. This chemistry buddy is legendary, and after many years, he did not become a good drummer, but he became a professor in the chemistry department.

Since the band was established in 98, the members have never been fixed, and the name has changed twice in three days, perhaps at that time, the nameless and angry Lao Xie felt that this was rock and roll. By the ninety-ninth year, the other buddies in the band couldn't stand it anymore and pondered a serious name. Drummer Lian Jiang thought of one, disregarded, taken from deaf ears. As a result, Lao Xie wrote a typo in his brain, and it became a rumor. As the leader of the band, Lao Xie did not admit even if he made a mistake, he was stunned that he was wrong, and said too much to show that their band was distracted, so there was a later rumor band.

It wasn't until 03 that the band released their first album before they slowly came to prominence. After that, they kept releasing new records, signing record labels, participating in music festivals, concerts, and later touring the world. Interestingly, several members of the band, including Lao Xie, have their own jobs and have never thought of eating from music.
