In addition to the ruined ancient city walls, buildings and cultural relics, natural scenery also occupies an important place in preserving history. The change of dynasties and the development of culture will also be perfectly reflected in the construction style of the garden. After looking at all the old buildings, I became interested in gardens and landscapes, so our first stop was Suzhou, which is famous for its gardens.

This city with a history of nearly 2,500 years can be called the representative of China's private gardens, and the art of gardens is vividly displayed in this city. It took us three days to walk through the more famous gardens, and although we were dizzy from the sun, it didn't affect our praise for these places.

Although there are many gardens, each one has its own unique soul. Every time you walk into a garden, you feel like you have stepped into a new world, and those ingenious designs and the perfect combination of plants and landscapes deserve a beautiful word, no matter how long it has been. And this beauty is eternal, it runs through history, and it will also span the future. Because such a garden has not only endless life, but also the combination of craftsmanship and human wisdom, which will never go out of style.

Suzhou was once praised by Marco Polo as the "Venice of the East", and since it can be called the Venice of the East, water is naturally an important part of the soul of Suzhou. Sitting on a hand-cranked boat and enjoying the scenery of the old city, sitting with friends over a cup of tea and chatting, or listening to a commentary, it is really a very comfortable and leisurely enjoyment. Wait until the wind blows on your cheeks on the water, and you will truly understand what the ancients really mean by visiting the mountains and waters. It is not a group trip in a hurry, where thousands of mountains and rivers can only be glimpsed in a hurry, but a relaxation of the soul, integrating yourself with the mountains and rivers, and experiencing the life and perception that nature brings to you.

For me, what attracts me to Suzhou is not only reflected in these two points, but also the development of the Wu Kingdom on this land. The story of the four beauties is something I have heard since I was a child, and among these four beauties, my favorite is the Xi Shi bred in this Jiangnan water town. Although I have heard countless versions of her story, and although I don't know whether the man who doted on her was really as mediocre, arrogant, lascivious, and violent as the history books say, I did love this woman so badly that I always wanted to come here to see what kind of place could give birth to a beauty like her.

I have always felt that a woman who can be favored by the emperor should not only have stunning beauty, but also her unique pride and advantages. Although it is a gift to the husband, if Xi Shi has no other special skills, if he wants to keep Gou Jian's "lying salary and tasting courage", I am afraid it is not impossible at all. So the Xi Shi in my imagination, in addition to having a covetous appearance, also has her unique charm, maybe it is the determination to sacrifice her life for the country, or it is the tenacity and fortitude wrapped in a gentle character, anyway, no matter which it is, it has crazy attracted the heart of the husband.

Since ancient times, such a fate has been reflected in Xi Shi's body without exception. But the term "red face and troubled water" does not seem to be appropriate for her. In Wu State, she was naturally despised, she messed up the dynasty, destroyed the foundation of Wu State, and let Wu State be buried in the hands of her husband. And Yu Yueguo, she is a hero, she gave up her happiness and chastity, and gave Gou Jian a chance to live, so that he could endure the development of humiliation and burden, and give him the opportunity to be ashamed and level Wu when Wu was almost an empty shell. Such merits and demerits cannot be commented on simply by relying on history. But I know that whether it is merit or demerit, her beauty is not her fault, and the kindness and gentleness she once had and her love for her country are not her fault. If she is really at fault, it is also because she should not be moved or soft-hearted, and involve herself in this war.

Aside from these stories, Suzhou is a city with a clear distinction between modern and historical. In addition to those modern buildings, the thing that makes me feel this way the most is the Suzhou Museum. This is almost the most design museum I have ever seen, the lines and color matching are the same generous and simple, the sense of modernity is very strong, and combined with the cultural relics in the interior, it is completely abrupt, here you can not only appreciate the development of Wuyue, but also feel the unique artistic atmosphere of Suzhou.

When I recorded these feelings in my travel diary little by little, the moon glanced at it, and I only felt that the one who was a liberal arts student seemed to be me and not her. She didn't understand why I had so many feelings in these places, and what she cared about most was the delicious snacks in Suzhou, and Wu Nong's soft words, which she didn't understand but still sounded gentle and sultry.

After the moon listened to Kunqu opera and Pingtan again, she pestered us to listen to it almost every night. I can't imagine that the moon would be interested in this. Seeing that she was listening with relish, even though she didn't understand, I suddenly knew the possible answer to the question she had asked me.

Because even if you are blind, even if you are ignorant, you will not delay love and like, but you will not be understood.

At the end of our four-day trip to Suzhou, we moved to the neighboring cities of Nanjing and Hangzhou. I used up almost all the enthusiasm of my travels in Suzhou, so I wasn't as emotional as they were when I was in these two places. But I have to admit that the scenery of West Lake is really beautiful, and any snapshot can be beautiful into a postcard. As for Nanjing, the moon and I reached a consensus that we couldn't take a step forward at almost every meal, and roughly calculated that after leaving Nanjing, the two of us would have to gain three or four pounds.

After collecting all the souvenirs from each city, we finally set out on our way home. My parents didn't pick me up at the airport because of work, so I went home by myself. I was going to surprise them at home, but when my mom came back from work, she ruined all my surprises when she saw me for the first time.

"Son, I think if you play outside for a few more days, you're going to be a little black pig. Why is this so tanned, it's already black, and it takes a lot of effort to come back again. ”

So because of these words, I threw the souvenirs I had prepared for them on the table, and curled up on the sofa alone, wanting to cry without tears.
