(7) The mobile phone is down

Many years later, when I met Sister Fruit in a coffee shop in another city, I finally understood what the words she had said to us that afternoon because of the moon meant to her. Before that, I already knew some of her previous experiences, but it wasn't until we met again that I had a vague illusion of empathy, as if the person I saw was me who had been free for many years.

And that kind of freedom is a combination of loneliness and low self-esteem.

All afternoon, the five of us sat in the store and discussed how to solve the problem. It wasn't until dinner time that we went home with the same thing on our minds.

When I passed by a small supermarket on the way, I dragged Fu Chengwen in and bought a piece of Dove chocolate, the moon's favorite food. After that, I held this chocolate all the way, kept my head down, and didn't talk to Fu Chengwen, and finally when I was about to walk downstairs to my house, Fu Chengwen grabbed me and pulled me to the bench in the community.

The wind had turned cold after the October night, and I was shivering a little cold as I sat on the bench despite the thick uniforms we had. Seeing this, Fu Chengwen took off his school uniform and threw it to me. I was afraid that he would get cold and didn't want to wear it, so I reached out and wanted to give it back to him. When he saw me like this, he directly ripped off my school bag and put his clothes on me.

"If you want to wear it, you can wear it, whatever it takes."

Seeing Fu Chengwen frowning, I couldn't help but roll my eyes, then glared at him and choked:

"The old lady is afraid that you will freeze to death, and wants to spare your life. If you're not afraid of the cold, you'll be freezing, and it's best to tell me word by word if you have something. ”

As I spoke, I viciously wrapped my two coats around me a little tighter. Fu Chengwen was really too lazy to look at my small movements, sat down beside me with his shoulders crossed, and said to me in a warning tone:

"I don't care about anything else, you just don't lose your brain on impulse when the time comes."

I don't think Fu Chengwen's words are definitely a kind reminder, of course, it is a reminder, and it doesn't sound so good. I clenched my right fist and took a deep breath to barely control the urge to hit him, and said to him angrily:

"I said Fu Chengwen, are you trying to anger me? When did I get impulsive? When did I run out of brains? Speak responsibly, you know? ”

"You also have the ability to yell at me, and if you are someone else, you will immediately become a little monkey in the Monkey Mountain, and you can't say a word."

"You are the monkey, you are the monkey, Lao Tzu will not kill you today, I am sorry for the Monkey King."

I pulled my schoolbag and chased Fu Chengwen downstairs to my house, and when I saw him running all the way to my house, I went upstairs by myself. By the time I finished my homework and packed up and went to bed, it was nearly midnight. I habitually picked up my phone, sent a message to the moon "good night" and got ready to sleep. But I rolled around the bed several times with my eyes closed, and finally I didn't resist my impulse, and I called the moon like a ghost.

I don't know why I suddenly wanted to call her, and I don't even know what I'm going to say to her first thing when the phone goes through. I felt so nervous that my hand was shaking with my phone, but when the voice came out on the phone, I felt like I was falling into the abyss.

This mobile phone number turned out to be down.

But when I saw the moon that day, she was still on the phone.

Thinking of this, my tears began to pour out wildly uncontrollably, I threw my phone aside, curled up, covered my face under the covers, and cried loudly.

Early the next morning, I went to school with Fu Chengwen with a pair of swollen eye bubbles. Fu Chengwen was silent all the way, looking at me like a monster, and it wasn't until I was about to enter the school gate that he asked me what happened last night. I recounted to him what I had discovered last night, and I didn't speak again. He glanced at me, didn't seem to know what to say, and silently accompanied me to the class.

Fu Chengwen's desk is no different from before, and the gifts, snacks and love letters on it are piled up like a hill. He habitually picked out all the snacks and handed them to me, then took the box out of my desk and put all the love letters in that box.

No matter who gave him those love letters by any means, he never opened them, and many of them were even received into that box without even reading the name on the cover. Once I counted curiously, and found that there were about eighty or ninety love letters in it, so I asked Fu Chengwen, since I didn't read why, don't throw these things away. He glanced at me and told me that it was useless to explain to me, because I would never understand such a thing.

I didn't give a damn about it, and I haven't opened the box since.

But I don't know what's going on today, I didn't ask, the boy who had been sitting behind us, while the head teacher hadn't come yet, said to the two of us:

"You two have done a good job of cooperating, Brother Wen, I think if you two get a good match, I think it's a good match, and it can save a lot of trouble, and it's more cost-effective."

This guy's guy seems to me to be better than my junior high school classmate Chen Shi, in addition to gossip, he is also a full matchmaker, and he loves to thread needles and threads for people. It's just that most of the needles and threads he wears have no basis, and they are basically nonsense like chasing the wind and shadows, which makes me always think that it is a miracle that he can live so long and not be beaten to death halfway.

This time, seeing that he had shifted his target to me, I wanted to find a needle to sew his mouth shut first.

But before I found the needle, Fu Chengwen opened his mouth first:

"I'm not interested in being a breeder."

Someone thought Fu Chengwen was saying that I was too good at eating, and couldn't help but laugh secretly. And I know very well that Fu Chengwen is saying that I am a monkey on the side, and I can't help but want to hit him. It's just that it was very unfortunate that my hand was raised and the head teacher entered the door, and I could only glare at him, which counted as a warning, and then began to prepare for the homework to be handed in.

Because I slept too late yesterday, if Fu Chengwen hadn't been poking me in the first class, I would have slept dimly. I finally got through it, and I wanted to wash some apples. As soon as he went out, he was pulled aside by Cao Yunxiao, who came in a hurry.

"What's the matter, is there a tiger chasing you behind?"

I frowned, disgustingly arranging my crumpled uniform. Cao Yunxiao breathed a few sighs of relief on the side before he stumbled and said to me:

"The moon didn't come to this class."
