Chapter 45: The Game of Kings

Marta ran towards the gate, sneezed and fell midway through, before being knocked down by the Overseer's Phantom.

You don't have to guess that Fiona is holding a grudge against her, but she still wants to answer.

Marta: But can you beat me?

How can a weak man beat the Air Force? Even if Marta is just a ground crew running on the ground with a flare gun.

So Fiona can only hold a grudge - and then sell her in a later match.

For example, grace and righteousness are cut off or something.

The teammates cared a lot about winning or losing and ran away, but Marta was too lazy to save.

The game ended as usual, and Fiona hurried back thinking about the flowers in Emma's garden, and Vera, who had just come out of the playground, seemed to have something to say to her.

But Fiona was in a hurry, and Vera thought that she must have something important to do, so she dismissed the idea of stopping Fiona.

And quietly followed.

What the? It's not tracking, it's ...... Well, that's tracking.

Fiona expertly came to the garden and walked lightly towards the beautiful tulip bush.

Quietly picked a few flowers, it doesn't seem to be conspicuous - if Emma doesn't remember how many flowers there are, she certainly won't be found!

Fiona thought to herself smartly, but she didn't want anyone to follow her, and she saw the whole thing.

Fiona pushed open the garden door and saw Vera standing behind the door, and a smug smile suddenly froze on her face.

Hand over two or three flowers to try to bribe Vera not to tell Emma, at least not to be discovered.

So the two women suddenly reached some kind of partnership.

……

Fiona put the flowers in the vase and was about to go to the living room to rest for a while, when she pushed the door and saw that all the people were there, as if she heard the door open, and all eyes were on her for a while.

The atmosphere suddenly became very awkward.

In the end, it was Emma who broke it out loud.

"Fiona, do you want to play together?"

"What?"

"Game of Kings."

Fiona thought carefully about what it was, and realized that she seemed to be able to accept the rules of the game, so she nodded her head in agreement and sat down next to Vera.

Beginning to deal the cards, Fiona took the cards handed by Mary and quietly glanced at them, pressed them under her palm, and quietly waited for the cards to end.

A bright red number "2" was written on the card, and Fiona suddenly had an ominous premonition.

Usually the number at the top of the queue is the easiest to draw......

When the cards were dealt, Mary returned to her seat with her cards, and Demi next to her asked her curiously:

"What number are you?"

Mary thought for a moment, tilted her head and smiled:

"I can't tell you~"

When Demi heard this, she wilted like a frosted eggplant, and lay down on the table waiting for the king's designation.

Mary glanced at the card in her hand, which was written in black ink with a "4", squinted her eyes, and listened to the people around her humming a little song one after another, and she suddenly became interested in the manor.

That's what she thought before she was bullied by the bullies of the manor.
