"Fear" (8)
Flipped through a few pages, full of notes.
After reading a few pages, I started to feel a little sleepy, and I looked at the notes and contents and unconsciously fell asleep in my parents' bed.
I was woken up by my mother to eat, and I opened my eyes in a daze.
I guess my brain didn't turn around, so I took my mother's book on agriculture and ranching thinking it was my own textbook and brought it downstairs.
When I went downstairs and saw a table of dishes, I came back to my senses, put the book aside and began to eat.
Dinner was very early, and the dishes on the table were also very rich.
Sure enough, my parents started asking me about my graduation job.
I can only insist that the school is not assigned, and that I need to find it myself.
Dad meant where to find it, and Mom said that there was no hurry to play for a few days.
After eating, Dad got up and lit a cigarette and walked out, saying that he was going out to hang out.
My mother looked at me and said, "Why do you remember to read these books?" ”
I saw the book I had brought down, picked it up and said, "Mom, I don't know what to do in the future." ”
My mother looked at me and smiled and said, "What can you do when you read mechatronics?" Can I help you think about it? ”
"Install parts on the assembly line." I said.
"Nice, isn't it dangerous?" Mom said.
"No, Mom, I want to help you grow oranges." I said subconsciously.
Mom's face changed slightly and said, "What kind of oranges do you grow instead of learning to farm?" For you to read for a few years, come back and you think about the oranges at home? It's good that you told me and didn't tell your dad. Don't talk about planting oranges in front of your dad, your dad knows how he beats you. ”
"He can't beat it, I just want to grow oranges. I don't know what to do without growing oranges, and I don't want to work on an assembly line. I stammered, thinking that what I said was different from what I thought in my heart.
I may just not want to work, but I picked up the oranges.
Mom shook her head and said, "Don't think about it, oranges are like this." I'm good at selling tangerine peel by myself. Now think for me what I'm going to do in the future, to the town or to the city. If you can, go farther and find a big city, make a lot of money and get ahead. In more than ten years, I will start a family and buy a big house together, and I will not be able to pick oranges by then, and your father will think he is old. You might as well take us over and enjoy the blessings, won't you? ”
"Mom, don't scold me, you raised you don't know what I'm capable of? I really don't know how to make money and what to do in the future? I might as well count on the orange tree behind the house. I said.
My mother looked at me and said, "Don't say it so loudly, your dad will get angry." He was going to sit down with you for a drink today, but I stopped him. Say you can't drink and be sober so you can think about what you're going to do in the future. Your dad just put down the wine and didn't drink it himself, you can't let your dad down. ”
"That's not what it means, and it's not a matter of being disappointed or not. What I learned was useless, but what I learned was two different things. I said.
"Why is it useless? Tell me about it? ”
I glanced at the planting book in my hand and said, "Mom, so you have been self-taught for so long, do you know what happened to the orange trees in the back mountain?" If you don't know what's wrong with the orange tree after studying on your own for so long, I don't know what to do in the future, right? ”
Speaking of which, I'd like to make an analogy. If my mother can't say it, I also say that what I've learned is useless.
