A wife should be like a wife
Recently, when I read "Tao Yuanmingji", I have a lot of feelings, and those who form words are not into chapters, so I dare not rashly put them under the public court.
In the Yuanming Collection, Qianlou is mentioned twice:
The fourth part of "Seven Songs of the Poor" has a cloud: "Those who are poor and lowly have been Qianlou since ancient times."
"Mr. Wuliu's Biography and Praise" praised: "Qianlou has a saying, not related to the poor, not to learn from the rich."
It seems that Mr. Jingjie admires and appreciates Qianlou, who is as poor as himself. However, today we are not talking about Qianlou, but about Qianlou's wife.
The admiration for this woman does not stem from her willingness to be poor with her husband, but from his understanding of her husband. There are more women in the world who can guard the poor and lowly, but there are only a few who can win the hearts of their husbands, and there are only a few who are willing to be poor and lowly. So, I said, "Marry a woman like a wife." This is not an exaggeration, nor is it intended to be noticeable.
Some people say that Liu Xiang's "Biography of the Daughters" is a shackle for women, but I don't think it is necessary, and it is not an exaggeration to call it "female rule" and "female fan".
Qianlou's wife is the character in "The Biography of the Daughters". In the eyes of the Han people, she is probably also a model in the women's world of the day.
Liu Xiang's "Biography of the Daughters" Volume 2 "The Legend of the Virtuous Lady: Lu Qianlou's Wife" describes his person and his affairs.
Listen to me slowly:
In the "Biography of the Daughters", the name of Mrs. Qianlou is not detailed, and we have no way to verify it. Therefore, every name must reach Qianlou, this is not a preference for men over women.
Gossip is out of the way, and get to the point.
In my imagination, the good name of Mrs. Qianlou, when Mr. was alive, she was not there, so Liu Xiang's "Biography of the Daughters" was also uninkable.
Qianlou's wife is the wife of Qianlou of the Lu people. This seems to be nonsense, but for a woman who has no name and no surname, and only knows her husband, to record her, there is probably no more suitable sentence to say.
Guess that Qian Lou was also a celebrity at that time, why do you say that? Because after Qianlou died, Zeng Zi and his disciples went to pay tribute. This Zeng Zi should be Confucius's student Zeng Shen. Confucius traveled all over the world and became famous, and among his students, many famous people were also known, and Zeng Zi was one of them. Qian Lou was a straw man, and after his death, there were students of Confucius who went to pay homage in person, so he must have some fame.
Zeng Zi led all the disciples to come to pay tribute to Qianlou, and Qianlou's wife went out to greet them, and when they met, they naturally said something like "mourning and changing" and "taking care of your body". In the midst of the consolation, Mrs. Qianlou had already led Zeng Zi and others to the hall in front of Mr. Qianlou's spirit. I saw that Mr. Qianlou's body was parked on a bed under the window, with straw poles laid under him, a piece of adobe on his head, a linen robe that was rotten to cover his body, and a coarse cloth quilt covering his body, which could not cover his head and feet. Because the cloth is relatively short, if you cover the head, you can't cover the feet, and if you cover the feet, you can't cover the head. (When the ancients died, they probably had to cover their whole body.) When Zeng Zi saw this situation, his heart was inevitably sour, but he was clever, so he said to Mrs. Qianlou:
"If you put the quilt on it diagonally, then the head and feet of the gentleman can be covered."
Mrs. Qianlou replied:
"Mr. Zeng, what you said is true. However, I think that it is better to have more oblique than to be insufficient. When Mr. Qianlou was alive, it was because he was unwilling to 'oblique (can pass evil)' that he would have such a seemingly bleak scene today. When he was alive, he didn't have a 'slanted (can pass evil)', but when he died, he was 'oblique (can pass evil)' because of trivial things, which is certainly not what Mr. Qianlou meant. ”
Zeng Zi listened to Mrs. Qianlou's words, and didn't know what to say, so he cried loudly to Mr. Qianlou, and he said while crying:
"Sir, you are deceased, I don't know what kind of nickname is appropriate for you?"
When Mrs. Qianlou heard this, she said:
"Let's take 'Kang' as a shy!"
When Zeng Zi heard this, he felt strange in his heart, so he stopped and asked:
"When the gentleman lived, he had no food to eat, and no clothes to cover his body; After the death of the husband, the cloth could not cover the head and feet, and there was no wine and meat as a memorial object. When you are alive, you don't get the beauty of life, and when you die, you don't see any glory, what is there to be happy about, and you are still called 'Kang'? ”
Mrs. Qianlou replied:
"When Mr. was alive, the monarch wanted to hand over the affairs of the state to Mr. and let him be the minister of state under one man and above ten thousand, but Mr. refused and was unwilling to accept it, which is a clear proof that Mr. is more than noble; The monarch once gave Mr. 30 bells, but Mr. did not accept it, which is the fact that Mr. is more than rich. Mr. Qianlou is as sweet as he is for the plain; Mr. Qianlou, for the humble Anzhiruotai; Mr. Qianlou is not sad and sad because of poverty; Mr. Qianlou does not get carried away because of wealth. Isn't it appropriate for a gentleman to seek benevolence, righteousness and righteousness, and to call him 'Kang'? ”
After listening to Mrs. Qianlou's words, Zeng Zi sighed:
"Only such an excellent man can have such an excellent wife!"
How many women in the world know that their husbands can be as good as Qianlou's wives?
So:
Marry a woman like a wife!
