Gas turbines are smaller than steam turbines, and the key is that there is no need for larger steam boilers.

The gas turbine is GT25000 modified, with a rated power of 30,000 kilowatts, and two units with a total of 60,000 kilowatts, which is equivalent to about 81,600 horsepower, which can make a warship of Ninghai's size run 38 knots.

In order to accommodate the high speed, the hull line was further repaired, and the bow was changed to a cruiser bow that was more suitable for ocean navigation, and the stern was changed to the square stern of a modern destroyer.

After all the modifications are completed, Ninghai can basically be regarded as a Cold War-level missile destroyer.

After the reform of Jiangnan Province is completed, anti-ship missiles and anti-aircraft missiles can be further upgraded.
