"Stealing the Day" (1)

My name is Li Goudan and I have lived in Dahuang Village since I was a child.

Dahuang Village is a coastal village in Zhejiang, and most of the village depends on fishing for a living.

Our village is a little different from what everyone imagines.

Half on land and half in the sea.

We called it the wooden dock, and we stacked it with wood where we could dock boats.

During the day, the boat goes out to fish, and at night it returns to the wooden pier to dock.

Part of the land is a house made of stone and wood, and the house has water and electricity, and my parents live in the house.

My mother used to say that it was my father who had built such a hut in the village because my grandparents had given all the money they had earned all their lives.

And in the sea, the wooden piers are full of wooden fishing boats.

Big, big wooden fishing boats, and almost everything on them.

My grandparents lived in wooden fishing boats, and I was free, whether it was a house or a fishing boat, I could go to sleep if I wanted.

Of course I like to live with my grandparents, because my dad sometimes beats me up for small things.

But grandparents never do, so I like to be with them.

Do you say electricity? After the wooden fishing boat docked at the wooden pier in the evening.

Grandpa would go to Daddy's house and ask Daddy to pull a wire out of it.

Dad would help Grandpa carry the bamboo pole to the wooden fishing boat and connect the wires to the wooden fishing boat.

The wires would be connected to the sailboat pole of the wooden fishing boat, and it was usually connected by Dad climbing up.

Dad once said that when he was young, his grandfather climbed it, and at that time, when Dad didn't have a house, he went to borrow electricity from someone who had a house.

After that, the whole fishing boat will be electrified, and there will be a small black and white TV to watch the show.

At that time, I loved to watch CCTV3's animal world the most, and the next day my grandfather would call my father during the day.

Dad climbed up again to untie it and picked up the wire with a bamboo pole and took it back, so that Grandpa could go out to sea to fish in a wooden fishing boat.

Dad said that my grandfather had lived at sea all his life, and he had lived at sea since he was a child.

My dad got to the shore, but he wanted me to go to the city.

I don't like the sea because the wooden fishing boats are honestly dangling.

But when I was on the fishing boat, my favorite drink was my grandmother's soup, which was really fresh.

Grandpa would cast a small net in advance, and then catch it when grandma called.

Grandma would take whatever she could and boil it, and she would use a small fruit knife to handle the fish and shells she caught.

The little fruit knife was always on top of the board, and even if I reached out, I was still half a palm away.

I've always wanted to catch it but I haven't been able to catch it, and every time I fantasize about being a chivalrous man after I get it.

Of course, grandma will also deliberately put the small fruit knife inside, and I can't get a position.

On the small gas stove, a copper kettle, a rub of salt, a handful of millet porridge, and the processed seafood.

Grandma watched the time and finished a bowl of fresh soup, and the taste was really delicious.

Unfortunately, it was all a childhood memory, I remember losing my grandmother when I was six years old.

At that time, my grandmother said that she was not feeling well, and my parents seemed to want to take my grandmother to the hospital.

But grandma said that she didn't want anything, and then it dragged on for another half a year.

Grandma finally couldn't hold it anymore and it hurt when she stood up.

It hurts even more when I sit down after standing up, and I often have to hold my grandmother.

The grandmother who couldn't stand it went to the hospital and was taken by her parents.

I wanted to follow, but my dad said that no one would be able to take care of me when the time came. If I get lost, it will be bad, and I will have to wait at home.
