Chapter Thirty-Eight: The Secret Base

"Su Dui, is this the good place you said?"

Su Du led her through a small alley and stopped in front of a house that had no street lights all around.

It was not yet completely dark, and Yu Xia took advantage of the faint light to see the house in front of him.

It was a three-storey bungalow, extremely shabby-looking, unpainted and unadorned, with the roller shutters closed and a wide flat area in front of the door.

Yu Xia stared at it for a few seconds, but she still couldn't guess why Su Du had brought her here.

"Xia Xia, this is my secret base."

He walked over to the roller shutter and bent down to open the door.

The tin door clanged and opened completely, and a warm orange light poured down to the ground, revealing a different scene in front of her eyes.

In the center of the empty room was a row of instruments, including guitars, drum walls, pianos, and other instruments she couldn't name.

When Yu Xia walked in, he saw a simple small wooden round table in the corner of the room, next to it was a row of small sofas, on which a few people sit, and a bookshelf against the wall, which was full of books.

She knew that she was a fanatical fan of music, but what did the books on this shelf mean......

Yu Xia looked around, and when she was about to talk to Su Dui, the person on the sofa suddenly stood up, and Qi Qi yelled at her: "Hello sister-in-law!" ”

The voice was loud and uniform, and Yu Xia's heart fluttered, and he was startled.

"Damn, what are you calling nonsense?" Su Du casually picked up a sundry item on the table and threw it over, "This is my sister, named Yu Xia." ”

Zhou Yang took it with one hand and said, "Big brother, just tell the truth, you all have different surnames and don't look alike, how can you be brother and sister." ”

"This is my sister who I picked up when I was a child, and she is closer than her own." After Su Du finished speaking, he raised his eyebrows at Yu Xiayi, "That's right, Xia Xia." ”

"Yes, yes, yes." Yu Xia responded, this is indeed the truth.

Zhou Yang and the others hurriedly gave up their seats and made a gesture of please: "Sister Yu Xia, sit here, let's sit over there and practice singing." ”

"No need." Yu Xia rejected them, and then said to Su Dui, "Take me to the top of the building and sit, I want to blow the wind." ”

Su Du nodded, turned to Zhou Yang, and put away his cynical smile: "There will be a competition next month, you should be careful." ”

*

Su Du took Yu Xia to the top of the building.

The flat ground was open, and there were several low railings built around it, and Yu Xia walked towards the edge, and when she habitually wanted to lean against the railing, Su Du grabbed her.

"Xia Xia, it's dangerous, let's just sit here and blow the wind, there are chairs."

Su Dui's slight tremor spread from her fingertips to her wrist, and Yu Xia glanced at the two chairs next to her, suddenly realizing that she was never the only one trapped in the nightmare.

She smiled and said, "Okay." ”

"Su Dui, this secret base of yours is very similar to mine, it is a place where no one disturbs." Yu Xia leaned back in his chair, tilted his head back, looked at the starry night sky and said, "But I'm desolate there, there is nothing, and I have to climb over the wall to get in." ”

"Is it the base of the factory?" Su Du turned her head to look at her and asked.

"Yes." Yu Xia said, "That's it, the first time I saw Xu Yu, it was there." ”

"Xu Yu?" Su Du suddenly heard this name and couldn't help but chuckle, and there was a hint of banter in his words, "It seems that he is indeed quite special." ”
