Chapter 177: The Incredible Hulk
Amora opened the barrier and dragged the tide of battle into more favorable territory for them. The executioner's gesture is like a tiger, and the heavy axe is like a tiger. With Amora providing him with defensive protection, he was even more careless in his moves, his offensive was far greater than his defensive position, and his axe was like a storm, making people breathless, and his power was more than three times greater than before.
Amora stayed outside the barrier, watching from beyond the green mist, providing spell support to the executioner while constantly looking for opportunities to cast attack spells. The two have joined forces many times, and their cooperation has long been extremely tacit, and even the top fighters have been defeated at their hands.
But no matter how tacit the cooperation between these two people is, how fierce and amazing the offensive is, they have always been helpless against this opponent. Michael was distracted by the executioner's tomahawk and the spell unleashed by Amora, concentrating on two things, but still unhurried. He danced swiftly with a long spell sword, constantly blocking Amora spells with the blade of his sword, and at the same time always stabbing at the executioner's vital flaws in a very timely manner, intercepting and defusing his ferocious attacks again and again.
Amola found an opportunity to hatch a powerful spell and cast it at Michael while he was in the middle of the executioner's move, exposing the gap in his back. The spell cyclone pierced into the barrier like a sharp knife, closing in on Michael under the cover of a thick mist.
Michael was fiercely attacking and defending with the executioner, but suddenly turned around the moment when the spell cyclone approached. He flipped his left palm, conjured a spell ring in his palm, stretched out his hand to meet the spell, flipped his palm, and lightly led the cyclone to attack like an executioner.
The executioner was swinging his axe at Michael with all his might, and most of his own defense was reassured in Amora's responsibility, ignoring all but those attacks that came too quickly or were lethal with a single sword. He had never expected that the witch spell that was supposed to be his partner would suddenly turn around, completely unguarded. The spell cyclone hit him head-on, sending him backwards and staggering two steps, but he didn't fall down.
Michael's sword thrust forward, forming a flow of magic like a blade, the tip of which stabbed the executioner's heart with such swiftness.
The executioner was unable to defend herself, but Amora saw the change in her eyes and cast a defensive spell in time to protect her servant.
But this was already in Michael's calculations. His sword advance was only an illusion, and he froze the moment the spell defense was condensed. He turned around abruptly, and the surging magic power poured into the spell weapon in an instant, and the blade slashed diagonally from top to bottom, and the crescent-shaped sword qi of the magic power illusion burst out in the air, and the green smoke was split in a domineering manner. The sword light broke through the barrier, castrated like a rainbow, and accurately locked onto Amora, who was casting spells, through layers of smoke screens.
Amora was taken aback and hurriedly jumped sideways. She barely avoided the vital point, but the sharp magic sword qi still cut a deep sword mark on her snow-white and flawless arm, and the crimson blood was like a blooming flower.
Amora was stunned for a moment, and a hot pain followed.
She was actually injured, still in the hands of a human mage.
"Ahhh!!h
Amora screamed, layers of green magic bursting like rings. The magic toppled the surrounding trees and streetlights like a storm, and the ground was lifted like a carpet, sending rubble and soil flying in all directions.
The executioner, despite the sharp pain in his forehead, carried the axe and tried to get close again, but was pushed out by a series of shockwaves without looking back.
Armor's super speed ability activated, and he resembled a sharp arrow that broke through the wind. He crossed the blade of the sword, and the flame-colored magic surged like a stream of water, and the entire sword seemed to be lit up. He turned into a long afterimage and pressed in front of Amora, the sword so fast that it was impossible to see it, slashing from her white, slender neck all the way to her slender waist.
Michael's footsteps stopped, the blade stopped, and his figure stopped behind Amora. The witch remained standing, leaving a flame-colored sword mark in the direction of the blade's slash, but no blood burst out.
Syllable! Her body burst like a punctured balloon, splitting into a large green mist that quickly dissipated with the wind.
"Worthy of being the first-class witch in the Divine Domain, she slipped away really fast."
Michael let go of his hand, and the sword in his hand dissipated. He turned his head to look at the executioner, who was now enveloped in a thick cloud of green smoke that had dissipated with a gust of wind.
Tony Stark felt like he was about to fall apart.
And he knew that the armor on his body was almost gone.
He only had one set of armor in the Avengers Building, and the other models were stored in the basement of his home, and the replacement equipment was now on its way at full speed, but he suspected that even if his equipment arrived in time, it might not make a difference.
The K43 armor was already the best model he had achieved after several upgrades to the Iron Suit, but all the weapons on this suit seemed to be almost tickling the green man. Tony knew full well that he had no stronger equipment to replace, that all of his regular weapons were completely ineffective against the Hulk, and that he couldn't stop the mad beast.
He had naively felt that although Hulk was said to be a rather dangerous monster, with so many skilled people gathered together, even if he got out of control, the Avengers should be able to control him in time. But now he realizes his mistake.
For the runaway Hulk, the only thing that can stop him is Bruce Banner's own sanity, and he will only stop destroying when Hulk himself wants to, and no one else can force him to do so.
The war machine also stopped working at this point. A minute earlier, Hulk had pulled out the Gatling on his shoulder with his bare hands, and it wasn't long before the reactor on his chest was dented by Hulk's punch, destroying the armor's power supply system and halting all functions of the entire armor. Without the power supply to the reactor, Colonel Rhodes's suit suddenly turned into a bulky iron shell, and even a finger had to make it difficult to feed.
However, Colonel Rhodes managed to escape the fate of being torn in half by Hulk's hands like a doll. Thor's hammer knocks Hulk away from him in time, attracting Hulk's attention and saving his life.
It should be said that having Thor on their side should be a lucky enough thing in itself, it seems that Thor is the only one who can fight Hulk back and forth, but even he doesn't seem to be able to subdue the rampage of Hulk. When they were fighting, lightning and thunder thundered in the sky in the corresponding area, and the ground seemed to be a continuous earthquake of magnitude seven or eight, and from the standpoint, before they had time to decide the winner, the whole of Manhattan would be torn down to rubble.
Eventually, after Hulk punches Thor flying for the first time, he stops.
The green flames seemed to fade from those wild eyes, and he was gradually regaining consciousness. He looked left and right, looking at the tattered streets in front of him, the ruins of several buildings that had been demolished by himself, and the Iron Man and the war machine armor that he smashed into scrap metal not far away, and his eyes couldn't help but be dazed.
He froze in place, silent for a moment. Immediately, he bent his legs, jumped dozens of meters high, leaped over a large number of buildings, and disappeared far away.
"Excellent." Tony sat up with what little energy his armor had left, muttering, "Can anyone guess where a big, angry green guy would want to go?" ”
